I'm not that good in clubs or bars. I have a pretty good "game" outside of that. I've bagged about 100 girls from regular "dates", but only about 15 or so from clubs. These usually from being a caveman in my younger years. But "caveman" doesn't work for me anymore. Nor do I feel it's a particularly sophisticated way to act. I have already several cases of sexual assault on my record and I've spent countless nights trading punches with white knights or angry boyfriends, so I'm just not gonna do that anymore. I also want to stop embarrassing myself when going out with new people, business associates etc. Just be normal, laid back and sophisticated.

But I'm moving to a new city soon (Montreal) so thought I'd try the club game again. I have no confidence issues but I do feel like I can improve at least the first 2-5 minutes of the interaction. I feel like this is the most important part as well, at least for me. If I can just get that going in a good way, then the deal is done. Basically, I need to find a bridge between "Hello" and "Lets fuck".

So, is there a book out there that I could read or could someone please share some tips on like the first five things you can say/do to a woman in a bar to start it off on a good note? In the movies you watch those interesting conversations with some banter back and forth, how do they do that? I know it's a movie, but I want to start scripting some of that stuff. At least a few lines. After I say "How are you?" my mind goes blank.

I don't know why others do it but in my case I put "game" in quotes because I don't have anything scripted or premeditated. I just randomly talk. But maybe game means anything that comes out of one's mouth? If so then "game" should not be in quotes. Please advice on the correct definition.

You probably just need to loosen up and learn to have more fun, rather than having a narrow focus. I know someone will probably come in here and call me a game denier for saying that. You've got the wrong Idea if you think you need more scripted "lines". Women see right through that shit, if you're relying on that you will fail every shit test which is probably what's really happening here.

Actually no I don't get "shit tests" because to me there is no such thing as a "test", just a bad attitude. If someone has a bad attitude with me, I put them in their place, man or woman. So I don't think about that shit. I think just phrasing something as "passing a shit test" is kinda lame, like you're a monkey or something. Like you're trying to prove your worth. People don't test me, I test them. That's how I see it.

But anyway... as someone who worked in Sales way back and got pretty good at it, I disagree. When I started scripting various answers to objections and various comebacks I started selling way more stuff. It doesn't get in my head, it gets automatic after a while.

I know they "test", I was just offering a different way to think about it. Of course they test me. I'm just not aware of it. I see a lot of guys worrying "Did I pass the test, did I fail?"... in fact I've never had that thought and I've never failed a shit test. Why? Because just acknowledging that a woman tested you and you tried to pass her test makes you a damn fag.

I don't just wanna come in and talk about what they do for work. And a street interaction may last for like 2-5 minutes before I take their phone number and leave, that's easy. But in a bar I may have to spend an hour talking to her and then try to take her home right away. I'm not that quick witted... I usually take time to think about stuff, I may take a few seconds of pause before I say something, and I speak quite slowly etc. It works great when meeting them 1-on-1, just not in a high energy environment when they're there with their girlfriends and the music is banging in the background.

So basically I'm trying to figure out how I can approach them, be somewhat interesting for a few minutes and that's it. I can take the rest from there.
