The left will often try to link Putin to their political adversaries but they don't seem to realize that most Americans have an ambivalent attitude towards him. Classic case of projection. Since they're convinced that Putin is evil, it doesn't even cross their minds that other people don't think the same way. If "Godzilla" really did help Clinton with this speech, then he should have known that and told her to keep Putin out of it.

Perhaps this speech was more directed at Sanders supporters than the general public?

If you think it's a status symbol to be verified on twitter, you have some problems. It's purely a political move on their part, to try to keep their ship floating.

Notice you have two relatively young, healthy, attractive, self-confident, well informed people here, not afraid to stand up for what is right.

"cuckservative" is a conservative too cowardly to fight the liberal establishment
"1488ers" are modern day Nazis (14 for the number of words in the white supremacist creed, 88 for HH - Heil Hitler)

There is Pepe the Frog - often now seen with Donald Trump hair - and the God Kek - who was born in a convoluted journey from LOL (laugh out loud) through World of Warcraft via the Korean language into a general sign of approval and thence into Egyptian mythology.

They are attempting to make the hard right cool.

Their support for Donald Trump has brought them from obscure corners of the internet to the mainstream.
