Tinder in the West requires elite level thinking on feet, high levels of humor and general knowledge levels. Making puns, being funny, tell jokes. Incredible. All that and no date. What the fuck.
In China I send a few normal messages, see what night they are available and get a drink. If they don't want to, I erase them.
Its difficult for me to believe the Herculean efforts guys are putting into dates with average looking chicks in the west.
I will say its fun reading the back and forth since I don't get much of that in China. When I joke like that in Chinese with girls they don't get it since they think Im being serious or they understand Im joking but don't understand why I would joke that way. Jobs are for showing status in their minds. Im better off being vague and getting them to ask me more so I get them invested in learning about me.
I hate to sound like a douche, but I've exclusively used, "hey, what's up?" as my opener on tinder since moving out to the Denver area. Menver my ass, there are girls everywhere.
I banged a girl last night who took me to the Broncos game on her dime. It's also a pain keeping up with texting all my matches. I've always failed at online dating but for some reason I'm in over my head since moving to Denver.
Again, I'm not trying to sound like a braggart. I was in a 2.5 year relationship before I moved out here. I was planning on getting a photographer to take pro pics but I don't have time to handle the influx of texting.
Maybe my look just works out here, I have no fucking clue. I think my face is busted, crooked nose and what not. But tinder replies have become a full time job.
I'm a fit guy, my pics are decent albeit elementary in quality, and my text game is above average.
Who fucking knows, all I can say is that tinder has become a part time job.

My openers are short and direct. I've shared them with some guys on here. They don't work all the time but it cuts to the chase and avoids that banter battle. It's easy to think you need to craft a perfect line and then you end up having to maintain that IQ rate and the girls will often humor it until you "miss" a witty response, then they ghost. Just avoid that entirely by keeping it masculine and direct. More will avoid the funnel but it saves you time to chase elsewhere.
on bluestacks anyone have a problem with signing in using gps spoof? i tried successfully when I first loaded it, now I just get the facebook page for entry whenever i sign in, it doesn't go to the tinder interface. I'm wondering if this has to do with a verification or problem with the gps thing --- i was trying to pipeline (successful with bumble), but tinder wouldn't load
thanks

What GPS spoof, are you using the one built into BlueStacks or an Android app?
I noticed yesterday that Tinder would no longer open in BlueStacks, I uninstalled BlueStacks, now I can't reinstall it because it won't download DotNet correctly.

Sigh unfortunately this is so true. JW that is a great exchange very well played ... just ignore her about the number for now and hit her up in three weeks after ending the conversation, I bet you have like a 30-50% chance of turning that into a date.
Thing is in Asia it's a totally different game because in their mind you're probably out of their league. You are probably experiencing something similar to what it is to be like a girl in the West.
I got my first Tinder bang!!!
I improved the quality of my profile!
I went from something like this:
[attachment=33208]
"wanna get drunk and naked"
--
To something like this:
[attachment=33210]
"Looking for a slim, healthy type chick that wants to drink wine, do yoga, cook amazing food, explore the city, go dancing"
--
My results improved a lot!
I needed to show a bit more social grace, class, and finesse. My original profile was too "caveman"..
A few girls commented on the the "wine and yoga" part of my profile. They all love wine and yoga!
--
Something else that I've learned is the importance of clever, witty, well written, short messages! This is how we primarily communicate with girls now!
I like to include pictures/videos as well. The more captivating and awe inspiring, the better!
--
I'm also exploring other dating apps...
Guys in San Francisco, what other dating apps should I be using???

Yes, it was yesterday for me too. I even re-installed ... yes it was fake gps the one that is built in. Suggestions?
Gio I can't speak for San Francisco specifically but Bumble has been decent for me here in Colorado.

Bumble is very heavily used in San Francisco. I have 4 notches from Bumble this year.
Unfortunately, the girls all tend to be the same exact WASP-y, whitewashed, wine and yoga type.
Not my style.
When I went to SF I was using tinder and bumble as well.

Thought I would post a video of how low the Tinder quality is in San Francisco Bay Area:
http://www.screencast.com/t/4zYrNsn9
My age range here is set 18-30. So these are women that are supposedly in the "prime" of their beauty.

Jesus nose rings galore, shortish hair, glasses, no make up.
Donkeys.
^
Considering that sample size, let me tell you, nearly equivalent in Chicago.
Kaotic, there are TONS that are nose ring, dyed hair, short hair, fatties. At this point it's like they select for it, these apps.
Do you guys believe in the Jay Leno line a while back "If you're good looking/quality (as a woman) you don't need to be online." Suggesting red flag.

I was able to get it working again by uninstalling and installing an old version.
I got a tinder girl (19) to chat a while, very interactive, then when I asked if she wanted a drink she said the requisite (I can't yet) but I do drink. It was sorta funny, because I'm wondering always if there has been a total change in the mindset, that is, no short term stuff anymore (in general). I said I'd swing by after she said "Where?" which she shot down, then I said, then come over ... after she asked if I lived alone (why wouldn't you assume that) she immediately went into no and ur creepy mode
She mentioned dinner at one point, must have been another beta seeker for free shit no?

So I just read about bots and I already came up with a fool proof way to confirm if it is a bot or not:
You don't know the area well or pretend this.
You ask the user in Szczecin, Poland without even mentioning the city in the chat: "What is the closest world famous city from here in the south direction within 1 days travel? Including ones in other countries." If she is not a bot, she will say Berlin, Germany! You can add the question "Where can I find a town called police or soldier?" There is actually a real town called "Police" just outside and she should tell you its right to the north. Geographical stuff like this is perfect. All this works without making it evident you are trying to screen bots. Bingo! Smart no??
Bots can be programmed all they want to reply and look real, but throw in geography and they fall. If we all do this geography thing, the bots will ALL go out of business! Anything uniquely geographical or current like weather and events also will always work and bots will never get the technology for it.
So here is the deal, if finding out if she is a bot or not is the problem, my geography question got you covered because the bot will never become smart enough to know this! Just suit it to where you are. Being in Manchester New Hampshire and getting a reply of "Boston" will do the job there.

This is totally autistic. What woman is looking for a guy who loves to ask bizarre questions as an opener?
You'll know if they're a bot because they'll try to spam you in some way, and with a bit of thought and discriminating swipes you should rarely match a bot.

That is not an opener. You seem to not get what I said and dont realize that I never said anything about WHEN to talk about the cities thing. I never even made mention about openers. It is up to you what you ask and when you ask it (cities). I read that bots got advanced enough to be able to trick people with the most advanced chat. If you say they are obvious and them being this advanced is false, then fine. But what is so dumb about throwing in a question about the nearest city durig the chat? Like really you say it truly is abnormal to ask where the nearest major city is during a conversation?? Every new person I have met if I asked them midway a convo where a major city is, they wont go thinking it is stupid.
I am originally from a small town in Utah and thought I would use geography mixed somewhere in the convo to filter out bots if pipelining other small towns in other states, but if you say that bots are obvious and dont trick then fine, no need to use any tactics. And I thought about doing a good by sharing my opinion to see if it could help. No need for such a negative comment.

It's a complicated solution to a situation you've not experienced, based on an assumption that bot AI is going to become undetectable at some non-specific point in the future.
You can spot a bot because they never actually respond to your questions and at best will fire generic replies and non-sequiturs back.
And then they'll tell you their Tinder is broken and you need to use website or app X to contact them.

Ok thanks. So that clears it up. That website was a lie they are not that advanced then and now that I think of it, they probably never will. Why did I not get to know for myself yet? Because the darn bluestacks is totally not working! I have yet to even try Tinder in my life yet and all these problems with Bluestacks is holding off my premier experience even more. Main reason I am deterred from trying it on the phone is because I can't use the fake GPS (I think) and I specifically want to use it now to start exploring the content from the rest of the world. Am I able to use fake GPS so I can browse the world on the android phone?

Anyone else here have issues with Bluestacks?
I download Tinder, login, then the stupid thing vanishes as you click on it. Can't get to use it at all!
I will try to download an old one. This thing cant just NOT work!
Had a date on this a couple of nights ago, she was mid 30s and didn't have a better option. It was a late date at 11 and she invited me to a bar close to hers. You could say she certainly gave off the wrong impression. She knew I was only in the city two more nights.
The date ended like this: we were sitting at a bar close to hers after two rounds and I asked her if she has any drinks back at hers. She joked she only has Pepsi. But with a really serious face she said nothing can happen and she will kick me out after 30 minutes. She told me nothing will happen beforehand as well, I thought she was joking as I heard it a million times. What did i do? I took her word for it and headed home. To prove my theory before I left I went for the kiss and she dodged it like her life depended on it (this is after neary three hours of bar hopping), she said "I told you nothing can happen" and looked really angry as if I upset her for probably not being a chode. Talk about a time waster.
The point here is this, Tinder has been completely destroyed by all these women on it not into hookups. You might think they joke when they have "not looking for hookups" on their profile but many are very serious about it. Generally don't waste your time especially if she's over 30. She was just looking for an experience/someone to talk to as she was bored at home.
kaotic 路 2016-08-28 14:53:00 路 #5500
^^^I've never been rejected by a girl whose said "no hook ups" on her dating app bio....yet.
It's basically them saying - "I'm down to fuck you IF you're the right guy"
As soon as she said "nothing can happen" - there's so many paths you can take with that shit test.
Blowing her shit test out of the water is my favorite:
"Woah, noone said we were fucking, I'm a virgin anyways" - or something like this.
"Well then why bother with another drink then" - a hug smirk on your face. - you can't lose either way, you either cut your losses or she reacts saying noooo stay blah blah.
It sounds like she needed to loosen up a bit, should've grabbed some shots, turns that date into a shit show.
How was her vibe while on the date ? I'm sure there were a few subtle signs that she wasn't down.
I've been getting pretty good at reading females during our first drink and first venue - I cut my losses or turn the game up.
