Not hard. An Urgent/Emergency filing takes care of being on the ballot. Kaine would likely have to step in realistically to pull it off without everything going to hell in the handbasket. Finding his replacement VP would be the next challenge but that would be the reason why they made the depth chart at the beginning on the race. Probably would be Warren.

Bernie already stepped out the party, so that would be a no go for him. Stein would steal plenty more votes should Hillary have a health breakdown.

In some ways a Kaine vs Trump battle would be harder for Trump than Hillary.

Might as well make a somewhat bold prediction. If Hillary even collapses once while on the campaign trail, she will drop hard in support. Karl Rove's dirty tricks and Obama's smoothness aside, John McCain had his health concerns dog him badly as a candidate back in 2000 and 2008. Had he ever collapsed or had to go in for treatment, he would have been forced to exit sooner than he did.

I wonder how long they been preparing for this happening. I don't see Huma around much. Expect a very well prepared excuse for this and Huma to be thrown under the bus. Hillary cannot get the stench of this off her. I would hope Trump avoids directly calling her a murderer in the debates unless it's obvious from the dump. The association of such is damaging enough, no need to go all out. Control with cunning tact will be key.

If Barry is involved somehow, scathing fury may actually be okay. At that point all bets are off and we would be looking at impeachment proceedings. House members refusing to bring charges should get voted out. No mercy.
