It took me awhile. Probably the first 10-15 chicks I banged from age 16 on were all NBG's. I've noted this in the thread before, but my experience is that the problems I describe can persist even when you're engaging women who are well beyond "name brand/typical black experience" territory. The best bet for men who are in my position but still want a black woman is as Moma says: find a non-American. Fortunately for us, Black American women only amount to around 4% of the world's black female population. Latin America alone has at least 4 times as many Black females. That's the feminine imperative. Women want the option and prefer for their men not to have it. That's why it is fine for them but bad for you. They get maximum options while leaving you with less - great deal for one side, bad for yours. They don't mind because they're on the winning side governed by their imperative.

Honestly, I just don't find that I hit the "primal" buttons for american black chicks. This isn't me being down on myself, but I find that we'll interact but my default mode is intellectual and thoughtful. I can be a convincing fake extrovert, but I wanna talk about certain topics and this screens out 90% of black chicks. A lot of this has to do with how I grew up. I grew up in a pretty white neighborhood so I am often accused of being an uncle tom since I don't have that certain 'swagger' that american black chicks expect. I find that it's less of an issue with blacks from the Carribean, Europe and Africa but it is more of an issue with blacks in america.

To be fair, I am mixed (mostly black) so that also just gives me a different look as well which further complicated my interaction with american black girls.
