I have a sweet bar near my train station that's all white Miami style and makes great mohitos. I always roll solo and know most of the bartenders so it's a welcoming place.

I usually open with something about travel since I've been to over 100 cities and being older, that's my game. Or I talk drugs and medicine since that's my field and working in women's health, they are always taken that I know a load more than they do about the female body.

I opened a 23yo about her mohito choice and asked her how it tastes. Not yes or no, but describe the taste. She gave an elaborate story behind a cucumber mohito and gave me a sip. I said it barely rivals the ones in South American cities and we are off to the races. Later she brought up that she plans to go back to nursing and nutrition school, and we are off again. 20 minutes later she asks for my number and texts me her details, saying she wants to contact me on the weekend. She doesn't mention age (I'm 40+) but calls me "distinguished". We'll see how refined it is.

Setting: last night, 930/10pm @ food coop style grocery store in Kirkland, WA (upscale suburb of seattle on the east side).

Target: Clear HB8 if not 8.5, blonde, mid twenties, light eyes girl, 5'3/5'4. Leggings, light jacket, Idaho trucker hat. Not my type at all - too conventionally 'sexy' and mostly out of my league given my history with these types - but whatever, ZFG.

I go about my shopping having seen her near the front of the store as I entered. She responds "oh yeah, you're right I remember my FL one - that felt official". I ask her where in FL she lived and she responded "Tampa" and I make conversation about going down there before to see Yankees spring training. She responds how it feels like half of NY has moved down there. She finishes checking out and walks away - I only have 3 items so I get checked out quick. Walk out and ask her what's her name as she's walking to her suv.

We chat about why I moved out west, our jobs, how she grew up in the area, left, then came back etc and I tell her that I have to get home but we definitely should get drinks sometime. Get the "would love to, but i have a bf" gentle blowout.

Oh well - unfortunate because she was some of the best talent i've seen in seattle.

I generally ask for the number on a cold meet like this before asking for drinks.

My gym is part of a "country club" which has a pool and places to sit in the grass.
After my workout and pool laps, I went to the hot tub.
There were 2 ladies (5-6) talking intensely, 2 old guys and a hot 30+ girl (7 bordering 8) with a tight body and nice face.
Engage the 2 ladies in conversation. That took 5-6 minutes till they left, as well as the two old guys.

Looked at the target. She was doing kind of stretching/static power exercise.
I opened with: "Saw you at the pool. Are you stretching or resting?"

Gio the way you reacted to those women came off as really reactive. If a girl says she doesn't want to talk there could 1,000 reasons why, you're better off just saying have a good day and onto the next set. All it takes is one girl to complain to security and get you banned from a venue or campus. I got banned from the most popular venue in my hometown because I said some things to a mother hen after she gave me lip and it was much, much tamer then what you said.

I have to respectfully disagree with AWright and applaud Giovanny's actions.

If you are being polite to someone and they are rude to you, why tolerate it? You wouldn't tolerate it from a man so why should a woman get a pass? The reason American women have so much attitude is because no one calls them out on their rude behavior. There's a difference to not wanting to talk and being rude. If a woman is being the latter, then yes, put her in her place. I wouldn't do it in a place where I'd get banned but, on a public street? That's fair game.

I was in line paying for my groceries, the cashier told me I had to wait because someone forgot their bin code number -- The whole line had to wait because one rude person could not write down or remember their number -- There are large signs that clearly say, "Write Down Your Number".

It depends..

From January to May, I had one steady girl, I wasn't actively seeking another girl.

I did very few approaches, less than one a week.

Starting in June, I have been hunting for a new sex partner..

I do at least 2 or 3 approaches a day -- Sometimes, 5 a day -- Sometimes, 10 a day (weekends).

So, the last few weeks, I've been doing at least 30 or 40 a week..

Honestly, the first 100 feel like a warm up, I still feel like I am just warming up..

Yesterday after work I saw a Chinese girl walking down the street and asked her if she was playing Pokemon Go lol. I already knew she was but I pretended I was curious. We hit it off well. Talked and walked for a few minutes. Lingering eye contact when we went our separate ways. She even did the number confirm on me as we were parting ("call me so I save your number"). I like where this is going. We're going for Indian food in an hour if she shows up I wanted to do the bar, but I don't mind. There will be more girls.

I'm gonna have her visit my place, then take her to the restaurant, then my place again. My room feels a tad underprepared, but oh well. At least I finally have an AC lol

I'm gonna experiment with this line more during the rest of the week. I like it. I could ask any girl who is on their phone. And it's a great segway into a lively chat with fun emotions.

I actually used this one today. Didn't hook well in that instance, but I agree, this one has potential for the summer at least. And I like it for the exact same reason - it's a socially relevant topic and a way to break a girl out of her phone.

I've been fighting through AA, I've been out of the saddle a long time. Target I crossed upon per chance: Three lizards, mid 20's, two 8.5s the other a 6.5. The two 8.5's were at-least 5'8, if not taller, and had heels (i'm 5'7/5'8 and they were much taller) and body wrap style short dresses one in blue (a blonde) the other in pink (brunette). The 6.5 was quite short. The pink one was posing for a picture on a street corner and I walked past them on my way to the bar and quipped "you are taking a picture with a street sign. why?" The 6.5 responded in a joking manner "so we don't forget where we parked" and then asked me to take a picture of all three of the girls. I did and then made a couple lines of small talk with the blonde in blue and then walked away. Kicking myself the rest of the night for not asking for the number of the girl in pink (the brunette).

Pitiful approach overall. didn't introduce myself, nothing. Just a very poor mindset. Certainly was intimidated a bit since there were two amazonian types together and it was a three-set overall with zero chance for isolation or anything like that.

Need to learn to improve my zfg in this type of situation. I've rarely done street approaches, but in this case I should've continued the interaction for a couple more mins (especially since they were walking in the same direction as me on 12th st for over 3 blocks) and asked for contact info and bounced instead of doing nothing.

There wasn't any talent at that level for the rest of my might.

Learn from my failure lads. I need to build that Gio approach mindset. Always remember - the regret from not going for the number is a million times worse than the rejection.

Lastly, this is for men from the north east who find themselves in the pacnw - you are going to run into a higher % of "tall" women out here.

I've been trying to do more day approaches, since I really want to get out of the Internet and I've been limiting my drinking, which kind of rules out night game.

Two days ago: I'm in a coffee shop and a sexy woman sits down next to me. I heard her ordering and she had an accent. I open with "Excuse me, I heard you had an accent when you ordered, where are you from?". She says that she's from Turkey and came to the US to study English. We talk for 20 minutes and then go out for a walk for another 20 minutes. At some point she drops that she has a son and she's married. 37, son is 20 years old. We chat 5 more minutes and I'm out, since I think she wants to practice her English with me. Could've pushed for more.

Today: I'm at a public transit station. An alternative looking girl with nice sexy posture walks by me and our eyes lock. She sits down next to me. I turn to her and she smiles. Banged an approach from the other day yesterday, back on the streets this afternoon. Took a while to get into it, wasn't in a good state to begin with but eventually found my groove.

Opened one asking if she knew where college center was, looked good from behind but when she turned was obviously early-mid 30s and not that attractive, She wasn't into it so I didn't pursue.

Lots of flirting and touching, tried to get inside but nothing doing, so got a number. Went for a kiss but she turned the cheek. Recently out of a six year relationship, maybe a bit too sexual for a stranger on the street. Will find out when I text tomorrow.

Walking back to the truck made a detour through the club district. Pair of brunettes dressed to the nines. Not typically the girls I go for although they were smoking hot by any standards. I was walking up and two black guys beat me to them, came up from behind and didn't assert their attention, instead mumbled somehting aout how they should come to shake shack with them, the girls half turned and gave the cold shoulder, started to cross the street. Ran next to them

"What, you guys don't like shake shack?! That's cold! Turned to acknowledge me but kept walking, so did I.

1) On the street see a cute little blonde in shorts and yellow t-shirt. Get her at the light and ask if she's from the place on the t-shirt. Banter a little bit. She's receptive but almost no eye contact from her. She has weird head motions, and big teeth. Body 8.5, face...6.5. Kind of an odd one. We cross and I go into the store and she folows, saying "I'm following you". I bullshit with her a little more and then do my shopping, timing checkout so I get out right before her.
She walks out quickly and says bye and I have to catch up to her, walk a block talking and go for the number. She says she's kinda seeing someone, but maybe we'll see each other around the hood.

2) one a few days ago, very cute Polish chick, very young maybe 18-19 amazing body, minor skin problems, standing there staring at her phone in a cute grey dress and a leather handbag with frills. Had to open her since she's just standing there. deep green eyes. Start a conversation about the bag. It's from Zara. Ramble about Zara, H&M, then on to where she's from in Poland and a bit about that. She's here for two weeks, and waiting on the street for her dad to pick her up. After a couple more minutes of easy conversation, she gets a text that her dad is in the car waiting down the block so she very politely makes leave and we part amicably. Didn't try to close.
This one, I was pleasantly struck by how easy it was to keep her in the conversation compared to American girls. Must go to Poland.

3) Sit on a rock in the park next to pale skimpily clad red head reading a book. A few minutes later her friend shows up. Inane girl conversation, the friend is an actress, and lives with her BF it sounds like. After a few more minutes I chime in about driving in our city, and engage them, then phase out of the conversation a bit, then chime back in and eventually we're talking about dreams. I tell them about a crazy one I had a few nights before. The actress chick is into me and introduces herself, asking my name! The red-head is kinda lukewarm, and we exchange "nice meeting you's". Didn't go for the close.

On the way to a friend's house I see a cute Asian walking by and was pretty sure I got the "look". After almost talking myself out of talking to her, I catch up to her and go direct:

Me: "Excuse me" she stops, turns towards me and smiles
Her: "Yes"
Me: "I just noticed you walking by....and...I know this will sound weird, but you look like someone I'd like to get to know.....I'm [name]" as I shake her hand.
Her: "I'm [name]. It's funny your name is [X] as I'm on the way to meet my friend [X].
Me: "Is it spelt with a [letter my name uses that's more unique] or a [the more popular letter]".
Her: "With a [the more popular way]"
Me: "Ah, well, not as unique" she laughs "Did you just come from work or something?"
...

Chatted a little bit more and then suggested we grab a coffee and got the number. It was the first day approach I did in a while so was kind of nervous but one thing I need to work on is to stay in set longer. During day approaches, usually chicks are on the way to a certain place and I drop a line like "well, I don't want to keep you from [X] but we should grab coffee sometime" instead of just continuing the conversation until she tries to eject.

This is my go-to direct opener for any hardware store, and subbing out DIY, for anyplace where the average clientele isn't very hot and I can't come up with something situational in time. It's very much intended to be a backhanded compliment. Not a great result here but has worked for me before. I've also used in Walmart and I'm sure a few other similar venues in the past.
