There was a girl earlier today that i approached, and she looked at me very confused, not sure what to say, she said "i don't know you, why did you approach me", i said, oh i just saw you looked cute and wanted to talk to you. She refused to tell me her name, and she was like "i have a boyfriend", i was like "i just asked for your name, not for you to undress haha". She said, "what are you trying to do?". And at this point i thought, man this girl is really boring and giving off a bitchy attitude. She doesn't even want to give her name, i will just move on. I said "oh come on, are you always this boring? i guess i will just give up then, have a nice day"
Did i handle the rejection well? How do you guys end a conversation with a girl blowing you off the water, or acting bitchy? Do you just walk away, or do you say something in return to her. Personally i just laugh it off and move on, if she's acting bitchy, she wasn't really worth my time anyway.
But could it be a shit test to see if i give up or i will do some fighting for her before i move on? Like she wants me to "prove myself" worthy. Let's say a situation where she doesn't actually have a bf, but she's just using it as an excuse. Do girls actually do shit like this. I think i read it somewhere here.

On the way to the car we talked, and I told her she needs to be spanked for talking nonsense. She blushed and we kissed.

wow . so you just asked her "your talking nonsense .. can i slap you " and she said yes ? #addedtorepertoire
it sounds like she totally fell into your frame.

Dude
Plant your feet and keep talking. Even ask her questions.
As long as one of you is not moving, it's still on.
If you run out of things to say go GALNAC or even ask for the number.

Today I saw a cute, athletic Asian girl with a big ass at the gym doing smith machine stuff with resistance bands around her legs. Legitimately curious, I approached her--after staring for too long--and chatted her up.
me: Excuse me, I was curious. What do those bands do for you?
her: bands? you mean these?
me: yeah
her: they add resistance to the exercise.
me: I see. but how is that any different than just adding weight to the bar?
her: it works different muscle groups
me: huh. I've always seen people using them in the gym, but I've never really understood why.
her: here, do you want to try it on? (she is wearing a purple resistance band around his legs. she takes it off and hands it to me). Make sure you put it around the back of your knees. Yeah, now stand like you're going to squat. Wider. Wider. (I squat down and come back up)
me: it feels easier this way
her: really?
me: yeah, I feel like it supports my knees better. (I take the band off of my legs and hand it back to her) So adding these resistance bands helps you develop strength better.
her: yup, I think so (she shrugs)
me: I think you're playing dumb (smile)
her: ha! no I just look like I'm in shape, but I'm really pretty weak.
me: Do you think these bands will help---so I do Brazilian jiu-jitsu--do you think they would help me get stronger for that?
her: I mean, you already look pretty strong...But yeah I think so*
me: its funny, I used to do powerlifting for years, but when I'm on the mat in jiu-jitsu I feel like all that deadlifting and squatting doesn't help me that much.
her: really?
me: yeah. I think because its more technical than just raw strenght
her: I'm surprised to hear that, you look very strong. but maybe cali...calisthenics, I think its called? bodyweight exercises? would help more.
me: oh now you're definitely playing dumb. No way you don't know what calisthenics are!
her: haha I don't! blahblah
me: I haven't done calisthenics since I was in the military years ago
her: oh yeah? (maintains eye contact. I don't say anything else, waiting for her to add to the conversation. we maintain eye contact for a LONG time. I stand planted in front of her for what feels like 5 long seconds)
me: well, thank you for your wisdom.
her: you'r'e welcome. Alyssa.
me: checkmat (handshake, walk away)
Analysis: She made comments about me "looking strong" twice. I could have riffed on that and use some dry sarcastic humor like, "oh, I am not strong. this is just for show. these muscles are actually implants. they aren't real. seriously, touch. that's all silicone and plastic."
She was engaging in the conversation and let me try her resistance band. She wouldn't have done that without SOME level of openness to chatting and meeting someone new.
Where I failed was in not dropping much in the way of bait besides the one comment about jiu-jitsu. After reading Roosh's new (banned) book, I should have dropped some more things like, "where I come from, most people don't work out at all. I'm not used to the gym being this crowded."
Her eye contact was pretty good, and she maintained basically a staring contest with me at the end of the convo. She also introduced herself after I thanked her for her advice.
Final thoughts are that she was open, not unattracted and could have led to a better conversation if I would have remembered to do a few things different. Overall felt good for approaching a sexy girl that I felt a legitimate boner for.

Your biggest crime was to engage in run-of-the-mill-fact-based-chit-chat every other guys did before you. You should get sentenced to three months of celibacy

Again thinking of Roosh, you're right, this is elderly chit-chat. I have pulled and gotten laid from daygame approaches using this boring conversation method, but it seems to get a lot of criticism on the forum.
