Can't wait to see MMA fighters headbutting each other, climbing the octagon and vaulting down onto their opponent, and knocking each other out by chairs.

Seriously though, I think it'll work out fine. Don't expect WWE kinda drama to creep into the UFC, since there are already a mighty mix of real feuds and manufactured drama to go around in the UFC ranks.

The one thing that concerns me is the already relentless pace of events. I figure the WWE group wants to increase revenue even more since 4 billion $ is a steep price. That would mean even more fights.

I just hope the fighters get paid fairly for once. The only reason Fedor never got to fight Silva was because the previous owners were too fucking greedy to split a tiny fraction of their PPV. That would have been a superfight of the century.

I am dissapointed to see Dana still at the helm though. Maybe he won't prevent the fighters from getting a better cut but just promote and talk trash.

He gives respect to Edgar. Then immediately continues to say he's going to beat that piece of shit (gestures to McGregor). The translator just chose to state it as "my one ambition is to beat this guy".

The Zuffa group bought the UFC for $2 Million and sold it for $4 Billion within a 15 year period. Now that is incredible business saavy...even though they do not pay their fighters well.

UFC President Dana White has been confirmed as a speaker on the second night of the Republican National Convention, according to a report from the New York Times.

Earlier this summer, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump expressed a desire to have White speak at the GOP Convention, which will take place from July 18 to July 21 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Same thing happened to Oveerem. When the fighters piss test the night before the fight, they cannot realistically test for everything before the actual fight. Not an ideal thing but the reason why they do this is because all the other tests before the fight may not catch a clever cheater. Think EPO or stuff that leaves your body. They may not need it for training camp, but right before the fight it will help alot.

Also Brock took the fight short notice and could not do the usual round of testing.

Couldn't be helped.

Most older/old school dudes fought or trained back when no one tested them for anything. Brock quit right before the new testing started IIRC. Old habits die hard. Overeem was doping harder than he was when he got beat up by him.
