That meet was nearly 2 years ago; and at that point, the girl I had wasn't hiso; as I didn't have the necessary knowledge to achieve that. She's long gone, and that's for a reason.

I don't think I should have something to prove after acquiring a certain rep.

I personally haven't met rawmeow so I can't comment in that respect.

Having said that he's been active in the bigger BKK line group for some time and I know many members that have met him albeit briefly.

To be fair he gave me some some solid advice regarding learning thai etc and almost around seems like a pleasant guy .

I think the issue here is that the roosh community in bkk is a fairly tight knit one and although I don't often see the majority of the 20 or so regular guys who live here we all know each other and have 'seen each other in action ' on multiple occasions.

Generally even the guys who pass through for a week or 2 get to know a couple of members pretty well and hence you'll see the majority of replies here are from 'real life' well repped members.

This could imply nothing more than rawmeow is not socially active with other forum members or just doesn't like night game or whatever but it gives some context as to why this call out is happening.

Some of the data in this sheet is excellent. Some of it I dont agree with but horses for courses.

I think anyone talking big about money. Bangung hi so girls etc etc on here without proving it is liable to get called and should probably expect this.

Well that one needs to go to a school to learn to speak Thai, or another language, is bullshit. If one is a bit smarter than average and with the right resources he'd probably learn more by spending three hours a day to study at home and then practice with girlfriend/neighbors/bar girls/taxi drivers/7-11 staff/whoever.

I've also hard to believe that you're drivning a 10 million bath car today when just last year we were in contact since you wanted to buy my second hand motorbike at 15.000bath. Nothing is impossible though, just saying it sounds a bit unrealistic.

You can learn some words, but to learn how to write, make sentences, and actually use proper Thai, you need instruction from a teacher or personal trainer. Practice won't cut it, as Thai language has so many double senses, etc.

I didn't catch anyone messaging with another member; maybe she did, maybe not, but the story is over 1.5 year old.

I'm fluent conversational myself. I know way more then a couple of words, I know how to write, make sentences and use "proper Thai" and I didn't spend a bath on either a teacher nor a personal trainer. And I've spent less time than three hours a day for a year actually studying. So speaking from my own experience, what you're saying is bullshit. Though maybe some guys won't make it without a teacher or personal trainer and I won't say anything about that.

The first post includes other errors too, as pointed out earlier in the thread by Leighton, Kamaki4 and others.

If anyone came to for advice about finding a long term girlfriend in Thailand, this would be my advice on what to look for;
1. A girl who does not play games,
2. A girl who you have a good personal connection with,
3. A girl who you can trust and who trusts you.

I would completely forget the thought of leveraging a sports car as advantage since that most definitely would attract the wrong kind of girl. I would also refer from rating her out of a scoreboard on an online forum, but that's just me. I don't think (hope) that anyone who's reading this is stupid enough to marry a bar girl.

Totally agree with Satoshi, learning a language in a classroom setting is possible, however really ineffective. It is alright if one doesn't have the willpower to study. Otherwise I would recommend self-study. Saying that a language is impossible to learn on your own is one of the most ridiculous things ever. People had done it before the internet, in 2016 you have no excuses.

Some rare guys might make it without a school, but IMO it would take years to do it unless you are Einstein's descendant or spend all day talking with people. Learning all the verbs, writing styles, exceptions, sentence structures, language registers / classes and being to type in Thai without looking at the keyboard takes some dedication and a school can really boost that.

There are exceptions to everything, but I think that there are very few ones when it comes to school; everytime I meet a foreigners who speaks decent Thai, I ask him where he studied, and 95% of the time, they name a school in Bangkok.
