Teedub - what do you like to do? Hobbies etc

Do you live in a big city in the UK?

I like Tampa, Florida is always a cool place.

I have a friend who raves about Austin all the time, I think you can't go wrong with Texas.

If you have alot of money, then Vegas, LA and NYC can't be beat.

If you fancy a challenge, there is always Toronto. LOL There are alot of RVFers here that will show you a good time.

The Euros/Brits I know who've spent extensive time travelling around the U.S. say that this part of the country is the most interesting and unique for them; the sheer expanse of the landscapes and it's raw wildness are unlike anything to be found back in Europe.

Nothing embodies America more than to go "light out for the territory" out West and a Harley is the best vehicle to do this.

They are rolling midlife crisis. also I think they are dangerous, they can't turn worth a shit. Most bike accidents are from either squids or old geezers who decide they need a harley.

Get a jeep, leave the top wherever you rented it.

One of my best childhood friends lives in Charleston with his wife and kids. I refuse to visit between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Summer time there would best be described as having a "WWII Japanese POW camp motif with extra mosquitoes"
It's a great city, but I strongly recommend traveling west of the Rockies in the summertime...unless your thing is hot humidity outdoors and an A/C indoors

Just don't go to DC, SF Bay, Seattle Sound, Boston, Denver (Menver), Ontario (no not the USA but if you don't know about what I'm saying you have seriously not done your homework on this forum), Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo (oh did I just describe strict rustbelt? that is oh so conveniently due south of Ontario), the west/left coast, or St. Louis and its like, you should be fine assuming you can fight through a unpleasant but reasonable layer of fat chicks.

Your two immediate targets are Charleston, SC and Dallas, TX. Depending on how tall you are, you should also consider Chicago. Trust me.

Don't expect a Poosy Paradise anywhere.

But life should be OK.

Pretty solid list for places not to go if you're expecting pussy, though I don't think anyone would plan on going to the rustbelt in general, haha. I'd add Miami to that list also, I really hated Miami and dislike most of Florida in general. Boston isn't that bad, but it's not a place to vacation too from the UK.


In terms of pussy paradise, I think it is very, very easy to get laid in Las Vegas - you can even do a quick social circle game down there, very easy to join other peoples cliques since everyone is looking to just be ignorant.


For the OP, I'd look into San Diego - I think a British accent would absolutely slay there, but I'm not sure if it's worth staying in a city that small for one month (ditto with Vegas, but there is a lot more to do in Las Vegas).

To be honest I think the biggest appeal about Americas is its outdoors. Our parks set the standard for conservation, especially Yosemite and Yellowstone.

I recommend doing Vegas, as it's relatively cheap, as is New Orleans. New Orleans has so much culture at a low cost and a huge party factor
