A German government official said the request was a joint initiative by Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden and the letter would be sent to Brussels on Monday.

"Member states must continue to have the flexibility and option to conduct border controls at their internal borders in cases when it is necessary," De Maiziere said, adding such measures were required to guarantee a certain level of safety.

A European Commission source told Reuters that Brussels was leaning towards giving its green light to the request and to allow an extension of the border checks until November.

The numbers of migrant arrivals to Germany has dropped to less than 200 daily in recent weeks from more than 2,000 daily in January. At the height of the refugee crisis last autumn, more than 10,000 migrants arrived in Germany on some days.

In her weekly podcast, German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged EU member states to avoid seeking national solutions to European problems, adding that she would fight to uphold EU citizens' right to freedom of movement and residence within the bloc.

Merkel has been critical of border closures within the EU and is instead banking on an EU-Turkey deal that took effect early April and gives Ankara political and financial benefits in return for taking back refugees and migrants who have crossed to Greece en route for Germany and other west European states.

200 is probably a very conservative estimate (I bet it's at least twice that) let's assume they are right for a moment...

200 daily so..200 x 365 days in a year = 73,000 annual growth from cultural enrichment refugees.

Germany has a population of about 82,000,000 people.

So Germany is adding .09% in undocumented foreign born nationals who come from mostly war torn muslim nations into their population every year.

It's because it was the year of the Fire Horse zodiac.

Kids born during that time were believed to be straight up nasty pieces of work if not evil. Especially the female children. So Japanese (and Chinese, many southeast asian and probably a lot of Korean) women avoided having kids during this time.

Housing: The problem is that housing in Germany is sinfully expensive and always has been - nobody ever gave a shit. I remember standing in line to be shown a little shit apartment in Munich back in the late 1980s. You had to pay one month to the agent and three months deposit to the owner and then of course the first month's rent. So if you wanted to move into a DM500 apartment you were out of at least DM2500. And the agent fee you never got back of course. And most of the time the f...ing owner found some scratch on the wall and used that as an excuse to withhold a big amount of your deposit if not all of it. Children: Even back then real estate agents and owners were openly hostile to children - they just wanted to rent to couples without children or single people. So even if you had excellent referrals and enough in your bank account to cover the ridiculous fees involved then finding an apartment was still a super stressful ordeal. A person in the United States is expected to move 11.4 times in his lifetime on average. I don't have any pertinent statistics but I would bet good money that it's around half of that for the average German. It has always been a very densely populated country and that affects birthrates of course. Germany is geographically smaller than France but has a larger population - about 80 Million. And the migration crisis has not helped matters any bit.

So why would people want to have more than 1 or 2 children - if any at all? Most Germans are not rich and actually live paycheck to paycheck. They used to be savers but that's all ancient history now. They spend their money on vacations, nice cars, and perhaps on their dog or cat. Raising a large family would require two very significant incomes these days. And taxation is high, a lot of which now is being funneled into migration and not into local infrastructure or supporting German families. And that's absolutely fine * because there isn't any fucking space left! *

All this talk about how Germany won't exist anymore in a few generation has been complete horse-wash as demographic trends are not linear. Think about what happened after the 2nd world war when workers were needed and so many German men had died in battle? All of a sudden we had an explosion in population growth - the baby boomers. I actually wonder how many of those kids were the result of GIs raping or just having fun - otherwise there were some very busy alphas in post-war Germany ;-)

German natives would have big families again if housing was super affordable and there were was an incentive. But they don't because on top of the financial dimension popular culture teaches women to emulate men (many even look like men) and men to be anything but. Not exactly the recipe for population growth ;-)



But as I hinted already above. It's all bullshit anyway because there is no problem at all with a reduction in population. Did anyone worry about Germans dying out in 1960? No fucking way - but back then there were only 73 Million of them. The same amount to be projected in about 2045 - almost thirty years from now. A LOT can happen until then and it only takes one fertile generation to change those projections completely.

OR an artificial repopulation via immigration. As intelligent as the average German may be, somehow the country has fallen for the long con of the globalists which is to completely destroy German culture by breeding it out of existence. Germany would be just fine with less children for a few generations. Once you can get a large apartment in Munich for €500 or less you'll see Kindergartens fill up in a jiffy again.

Of course that won't ever happen - unless those kids are called Ahmed or Mohammed.

To add, now with the career driven women, they start to have kids very late. To late mostly for a second kid. Also many Germans want to do two to three times vacations and own nice stuff. With kids this is not so easy any longer. Furthermore the tendency of Germans to be perfectionist. Academical people have the lowest birth rate, its because they did study long and the women don't want to gamble this by give early birth to kids or reduce their ego and their self fulfilment with travel and a career. So this lead again to the point where they have kids late. Also they want to have perfect circumstances. They need to have this kind of savings, that kind of income, those career levels and achievements before.
Then of course the cost of living are high. What many of those immigrants get wrong, they think we all have fancy cars and rich. They don't see that a lot of your earning goes into the tax and welfare system, the other into the rent. You have not a lot of money left. But this point is the weakest one, as I said when you want to own fancy stuff and do three times vacation and dine out regular, you blow a lot of money away. More and more Germans adapt to the wasting materialist lifestyle. Also cost of living not really an issue because in the past the people had far less and harder times to face.

Germans will be wiped out. I'm part of a dying race. Once they will tell stories about the Germans and how they did rise to glory and strength but then at their peak they did become corrupt. Decadence and corruption eaten their souls. The individual hedonistic lifestyle pay its contribute. Its the circle of life that tribes, nations and cultures rise and fail.

Yeah..homogenous culture, homogenous people, and positive social benefit through cooperation (ie. social contract) back then is robust and can survive even the worst exogenous shocks to society.

This does not exist anymore when you replace your own culture with multiculturalism. It's essentially multiple nationalities and people occupying a piece of land with their own group agendas.

After the collapse of the USSR, for a decade it seemed the world was free from the struggle over ideology. Most analysts agreed that the world was moving toward a single value system based on Western liberal democracy and capitalism. Europe and America beckoned, with their freedom and winning political system.

The 2000s brought a new reality.

In its euphoria, the West had begun to impose its political positions and values by force, (Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya) and lost. Its support for the Arab Spring destabilized the Middle East even more, making democracy seem less attractive.

After the financial crisis of 2008-2009, the Washington Consensus economic model ceded to the Chinese: a majority of rising countries decided not to follow Washington’s recipes.

At the same time Europe, and to a lesser degree the US, deserted the values they had offered to the world, at least the Christian ones, imposing multiculturalism, excessive tolerance, a new approach to sexual and family relations values that are unacceptable to the majority of peoples.

The international relations approach, proposed by sincere Europeans and a calculating US, denounced forceful solutions and spheres of influence based exclusively on international law. It started when Germany, and later the EU, illegally recognized Bosnia and Croatia’s secession from Yugoslavia, leading to civil war and the atrocious bombing of the country in 1999, and eventually to aggression against Iraq and Libya.

Another very important value of modern Western Europe – nonviolence and pacifism – is becoming inappropriate in the new, unpredictable world. Europeans, who suffered from two world wars, tried to impose these values upon the world. Predictably, things went the other way and became even worse: the massive arrival of representatives of other cultures (which started decades ago) forced Europe to adapt tougher, more right-wing policies, partially abandoning democratic freedoms in favor of order and security. This process is extremely painful and provokes ideological reactions.

Russia’s defiant alternative has become even brighter against the Western backdrop. The threat of a Russian challenge to Europe’s elite can partly be explained by the fact that in its search for ways to restore itself, Russia has been offering the world more attractive and viable memes and values.

In international relations, this kind of state sovereignty, cultural identity and pluralism contradicts the Western meme of universality as the dominant ideology.

Russia defends concepts such as honor, national dignity and courage. For many Europeans, these values seem old-fashioned, inspired by the wars Europeans unleashed and lost. Russia managed somehow to win these wars at a monstrous cost, and it is also ready to defend its sovereignty and the values that Europe also needs, by force. In "Putin’s world" it is unthinkable that men would not defend their values and their women, as happened in Cologne during an outrage by migrants. Europeans are afraid of this new tough world that today’s Russia personifies.

Russia’s second ideological message to the world is that consumption is not the be all and end all. Individual and national dignity and the serve of higher aims are more important, as is inner growth. Russia supports all religions and religious aspirations, and is ready to defend Christians.

The third message is Russia’s readiness to follow traditional principles of foreign policy, including defending national interests by force, in particular if morally justified.

This set of messages and values provides Russia with considerable "soft power", despite its relative non-wealth and "lack" of freedom.

The struggle is urgent. The West thought it had won, but now it is losing, and Russia has taken on the burden of a non-Western policy that appeals to the majority of countries, including many in the west. But it does not seem to be planning to export its ideology, as part of the West does, to avenge defeat.

The alternative comes from the past, from the "modern" Westphalian system, but it is addressed to the majority. European and Western "postmodernism", which seems more humane and progressive, is losing, probably due to its absolutism, or because the majority of humans are not ready for it.

After Russia’s forced reaction against Western expansion in the Ukraine, German Chancellor Merkel accused its leader of living in an imaginary world. Now it’s the German Chancellor’s turn. It would be better if everyone could live in the world of postmodern’s failed humane, nonviolent, tolerant reality - with eyes wide open.

That video illustrates a lot why the politicians love gun control, every single one of those bodyguards is armed, but the people are not, when shit is starting to hit the fan, they will take measures to take away guns, after Paris attack they passed more gun control laws, not because the terrorist but because the native people will use them against the politician in situations like this.

This has probably been said before in this thread but I am absolutely baffled at how Germany is doing this right now. After WW2 Germany was in shambles and economic chaos and had little or no help (besides the Marshall Plan), turned into an economic powerhouse in few decades. Today, in an age where people of even underdevoloped countries have an higher income than post-WW2 Germans, they are welcoming and funding people with smartphones as good as or better than theirs as if they are some sort of misers, all while being sodomized by their ungratefulness.
