RE: Hat Game for Bald Guys or Guys with Bad Hair

(So I consider myself an expert on this field. ) I've taken meds for 15 years (mainly finasteride + minoxidil), which have slowed down the process without major side-effects. My hairline has receded pretty far but I'm still hanging in there and refusing to give up and shave... Well, I do shave on the sides and back very short and leave the top a bit longer. I also bleach my hair. I thicken the hair with MSM, glue-type hairgel and Toppik. The result is far from beautiful, but acceptable and suits me probably better than totally shaven head.
I experimented with partial (frontal) custom hairpieces 10 years ago for a couple of years. I had 4 long term girlfriends at the time and they didn't have a clue... I'm not sure whether the hairpiece helped with women in general but I don't think it hurt. In the end it was too much of a hassle to use it so I quit.
I often wear a trendy baseball cap when outdoors, and on nice summer days I prefer a straw cowboy hat... Not many men wear them here in my country, so it grabs attention, which is a good thing of course. Usually on a night out several women (and men) compliment my hat, and I feel that it has helped my game.
At this point how much would you say you have spent on your hairline? Genuine question. 15 years on meds and custom made hairpieces don't come cheap, after all.

I posted on another thread about my other friend who gets so may hot girls, and a wide and diverse group, too. Hipster girls, upper middle class suburban girls, insane ones, everything. All 9's and up. He's got a horrible receding hairline with thin hair and will likely go bald in the next year. He actually jokes about it and runs his fingers through his thinning hair - chicks love it.
Yup! Game often trumps completely natural consequences of the male aging process. File this under "things everyone should know."
There are some women who will just never date a balding guy. There are some women who will never date a guy too short, or too tall, or black or white or whatever.
It's completely within their right to pick what they like or don't like as they wish. It's completely within your right to not waste a moment's time thinking about any particular girl's personal prerequisites.
About the only place it might really hurt you is online dating, which is where the most looks-oriented chicks often hang out. But even then probably not as much as you might think.
Also, I wanted to add that the only chicks who I observed who gave him a probelm were women who had thin hair themselves. It's almost like women pre-screen guys to see if they would like to pass on their genes to this man. Guess these women don't want thin haired kids...but most women, by definition, have average width hair...

RE: Hat Game for Bald Guys or Guys with Bad Hair
I don't recommend getting into a habit of wearing hats to hide your hair loss. If you're wearing it for a practical purpose, like protecting your scalp from the sun or because it really ties an outfit together, that's a different story. Wearing hats solely for the purpose of concealing hair loss will quickly become a crutch. You'll only feel confident with your hat on, but the moment you're caught without one or you're in a situation where hats are prohibited, it'll fuck with your game.
If you're only experiencing some mild frontal recession or a thinning crown, a flattering haircut/style will get you by for a while but you can't escape the inevitable. Eventually, your hair loss will be obvious and when that time comes, I highly recommend shaving your head over desperately trying to cling to what you're losing. Insecurity is not an attractive trait and spending hours in front of a mirror examining your bald spot is not good for your mental health. Don't waste time and money going to doctors, getting prescribed medications like Mixodil/Rogaine, which work only as long as you continue using them if they work at all, or Propecia which has been reported to cause sexual side effects such as difficulty in achieving/maintaining erections which may or may not cease even after discontinuing the drug.
Do yourself a favor, just shave your head. Go to a big box store and get an economy pack of razors and shave gel, or sign up for an online membership with a razor company that sends out new blades each month. After all, what's the main reason guys are afraid of losing their hair? The fear it'll have an impact on their sexual market value/their ability to get women. But what good is a full head of hair if you can't get your dick up? Besides, being bald won't affect your chances with women nearly as much as you fear it will. I, for one, have had FAR more success with girls since I started shaving my head than I ever did with a full head of hair. I will say that if you're on any online dating websites, be sure to broadcast the fact you have a bald head. Don't hide it. It'll hurt you more to delay the reveal than to just be out in the open with it. Girls can't be disappointed if they've never had an expectation of your having hair to begin with.

RE: Hat Game for Bald Guys or Guys with Bad Hair
One of the most annoying shit tests I get is when I am wearing a hat out at the bar and a girl drops "Wait, are you bald? Let me see" after 3 minutes of conversation. In my opinion, you have to take the hat off and show her what you are working with. Avoiding it, even playfully, makes you look super insecure.
Agree and amplify works great - show off that sexy dome. Just be sure not to let an OUNCE of insecurity shine through or its game over - be very careful with self-deprecating humor unless you are naturally hilarious and/or super confident. I've grown to love my bald head so for me its no big deal, but it wasn't always that way.
Even if it's only a shit test - it's still a hilariously rude thing for a girl to say. Can you imagine being mid-conversation with a chick at the bar and saying "Wait, are those high-waisted shorts covering your beer gut? Let me see."
When a girl drops this line in first five minutes of conversation, its a foolproof indicator of whether she is an awful person. Pump and dump accordingly.

RE: Hat Game for Bald Guys or Guys with Bad Hair
I've been shaving my head for a year, and before that I was cutting it down short with a #1 blade. Started losing it around 21, and gradually it went down on the crown and receded in the front a lot.
It's something I've been dealing with for a while, and while rejection does happen because of it, it's not a big deal as long as you don't try to cover it up. I can remember being at bars with a ballcap on and being mortified when a girl pulled it off my head. Such a situation was something I'd fear going to the bar, and from then on, I'd be nervous. If you're trying to run effective game, being nervous really hinders that.
I think just taking it off, either with a razor or very short with clippers is essential, but beyond that (and I think it's already been mentioned) is to build a great physique. Women will ignore bald heads if you are confident and good to look at it. As lifting can make you both confident and give you a better body, it's a no brainer. You can't control your hair, but you can control the rest of you.
