RE: The Philippines thread
Surprisingly, I'd suspect there are a lot of Filipina virgins out there. Probably a small % of the whole, and maybe not as much in metro Manila, but certainly in the smaller cities. Particularly in the Visayas.

Most women live with their parents until they're married, only breaking the cycle if they're fortunate enough to go away to college, and even then, many people will commute. A lot of the options available for an average looking woman are underwhelming, and some women will choose to wait until a serious prospect comes along. Of course, young adults still find ways to sneak out, but there's still a portion of women that will hold out, either out of pickiness, or for religious reasons, or because they know it weakens their value with a future partner.

It seems most common in the below average or average looking women trying to maximize their chances at landing a decent partner. I knew a very plain looking woman getting into her late 20s who married a very plain looking dutch guy. He wasn't anything special, but he seemed like a decent guy, and she's going to live a much more comfortable life than she would have back in Mindanao.

Even the slightly above average looking ones can leverage it. I know a girl who is pretty but not spectacular, but was able to leverage her conservative disposition into dating the member of a Pinoy boy band which ended up putting out a gold record and winning awards. Her other sister has a similar story and is engaged to a doctor now. I suspect if she's approaching 30 and she still hasn't settled down, she will lower her standards or let herself explore.

Unfortunately, other girls know that lying about it can get them free respect and easier consideration for LTR status. But it's usually pretty easy to filter out the liars by how they act. Times are changing, but going by traditional Pinoy culture, it's considered bad to kiss on the first date. If a woman is young, it's considered normal for her to bring a chaperone on a first date, or for the man courting her to meet her parents first before taking her out.

It's rare that you'll find any women online, especially in Cebu or Manila that are willing to hold fast to those standards. Maybe she did in the past, but eventually she will meet a guy who makes a lot of promises, but loses interest once he's gotten the notch or knocked her up. But there are some out there who understand what's at stake and are willing to hold out for it. At least, that's the impression I've gotten.

The forum doesn't condone this type of thing in any way.

This piece of shit and his buddies defending him won't last around her very long and I hope they run into some RVF guys over in Phils.

RVF guys are the least of this guy's worries. The action starts when this girl finds out that she was just a pump-n-dump and her brothers/male members of her family gets a whiff of this story.

For the other lurkers who may be thinking of going into the Phils (or any 3rd world/developing country) to play 'alpha' and 'aggressive', take this as a warning: The karma you may attract through your actions is nothing to be taken lightly. I am speaking as someone who grew up in such a culture. The violence, poverty and corruption we grow up seeing is uninhibited and extreme. Combine this with a patriarchal system that place high value on the chastity of their women. This is an example of how tourists get killed in the worst possible ways. This is how people dissapear. This isn't Japan, USA or EE. Jail-time or getting beat up is the least of your worries.

Don't fuck around.

This guy should leave the Phils as soon as possible.

I think there may be a lot of women in their late 20's+ who are in the 1-3 notch range. Compare that to the West where girls are multiples of that before they graduate High School.

Of course there is the other end of the spectrum when you get involved with Tinder/Internet sluts from major cities or girls who are into the Club/Bar scene. Those girls notch counts may dwarf that of their Western counterparts.

I'm heartened by the responses to this Kabuli guy. It's one thing to be in an unfavorable sexual marketplace back home, and dream about having all the Filipina girls you want. But when you come here, you meet so many sweet, naive girls who place all their hopes on you, and for whom the stakes are high. You have to be a psychopath to just pump them and dump them.

Of course, many girls in the Phils are far from innocent, we all know that...but it's extraordinary how many are compared to the west. It's not an act for many younger women to be totally starry-eyed and/or just traditionally-minded.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

@ thoughtgypsy and Onto

I hear a good amount of forum members complaining about pinay women. This is only my second trip to the phils, so I'm certainly no expert. But, in my opinion you couldn't ask for sweeter women to welcome you to their country. Sure, I have had some bad experiences with girls trying to scam me or whatever. But, any man like myself who's been through a horrible divorce and hit rock bottom, spending three weeks with them is like heaven on earth. Like I mentioned before, I'm leaving tomorrow and I can barely contain my excitement.

I have always wondered about the difference of girls in the big cities and the girls in the Providence. So in my three weeks I'll be studying the differences in personalities of the two. Cebu city and Legaspi city. I hope to have great data sheet wrote up after my return.

The sad reality is that a lot of filipinas with kids often have low partner counts. They fell in love and got knocked by usually their 2nd or 3rd partner and he did a dash. Some of them are perfectly pleasant to date but the kid thing is really a dealbreaker.

If this guy is really Indian, he did a shitty thing to his people no matter if he did what he said he did or not. I don't know if there's anybody looking for him in Makati right now, but I won't be surprised if some Indian-looking guys in the Phils, perhaps completely innocent tourists or expats, will be beaten up, robbed or worse because of this troll. Nice job, asshole. Next level trolling shit. IRT has got nothing on you.

I don't think we can really go by western standards with Pinays. The carousel doesn't really turn them into jaded feminists like it does in the west. Just because she's sweet doesn't mean she's innocent. If you met her online, she's willing to meet you after a short conversation, and she's willing to sleep with you the first time you meet, she isn't innocent. There are many, many girls in the big city who are happy with a ONS arrangement. A few girls even made me feel like they were notching me and not the other way around.

I think what gets most of them into trouble isn't so much their naivety as their impulsivity. They often live by their emotion of the day, with no consideration for long term ramifications. They follow their heart's desires, or project their fantasies onto reality. Often it leads to disappointment or trouble. Don't get me wrong, I love Pinays, but the truly innocent ones are few and far between.

@ Schlep

I think a lot of the complaining starts with foreigners who have been in a LTR with a Pinay. Pinays can be very sweet and charming, but after a while, other issues can become apparent. I discussed them a bit in the screening Pinays for LTR material thread.

I agree with your post but would like to make a little correction, adding the words "among the Filipinas whom you meet online", in the middle of one of your sentences, like that:

"Don't get me wrong, I love Pinays, but among the Filipinas whom you meet online or in Makati, the truly innocent ones are few and far between"

RE: The Philippines thread
GS you are right about the online girls. Whether it's Thailand or the Phils, most of the discussion on this forum is about the same girls from a limited number of websites. There are certainly plenty of relatively innocent girls out there.

Let's not forget though - most of the single mothers out there bearing their illegitimate kids from Filipino guys. The impulsive nature of Filipinos and lack of sex education is probably to blame.

I knew a landowner in a certain provincial town who also owned a few bars there. He once told me (paraphrasing): "A lot of teens come here to do karaoke at night. You wouldn't believe how promiscuous they are. A lot of them drag the girls away to fuck in the bushes near my bar. And don't get me started about the boys in big groups!"

Consider that this was out in the provinces where everyone is supposed to be conservative...

Just wanted to add some more colour to the discussion. As usual, reality is more complicated than it seems. And yes, there are a lot of fags in the Philippines...

PM me for accommodation options in Bangkok.

I wrote about one of my experiences regarding the promiscuity of Filipinas some months agoo:

(10-03-2015 06:53 AM)RagnarLothbrok Wrote:  Not only white dick. They are also fucking around a lot in their social circles. This is what distinguishes Filipinas from Thais. In Thailand you have 2 teams. Team foreign dick and team Thai dick. Girls who are fucking foreigners are usually never fucking Thais. In the Philippines the same girls that are fucking foreigners are also fucking Filipinos when there is no foreigner around. One girl from Cebu told me that she has fucked 25 guys. Only 2 of them were foreigners including me. All the others were "friends" from work or university. This also matches my observations from different night clubs in Cebu. I saw tons of young Filipinos hooking up with each other. No wonder there are so many teenage moms in this country.

I went to one of those love motels (I think the name was Queensland) with a girl once. It was a Monday night at around 10 pm and they gave us a room on the 5th floor because all the other rooms were already occupied. With 5 rooms per floor that means that more than 20 couples were shagging on a Monday night. Now imagine what's going on on a Friday or Saturday night. Filipinas truly are the most horny girls on this planet.

Love motels are really big in the Philippines. They even have a love motel chain called Sogo Hotel which is bigger and more popular than the Tune Hotel chain for example. In and around Cebu City you can find ads for Sogo Hotel almost everywhere. On my very first day in Manila 2 years ago I accidentally stayed at a Sogo Hotel, not knowing what it really was. It was hilarious to see half a dozen of couples waiting in the lobby for a room to become available so that they can finally fuck. Once they got a room, the next couple got a place on the waiting list. It was like an endless stream of customers.

People fuck in those hotels because 95% of Filipinos live with their family or roommates.

Also, those short stay hotels aren't just for fucking. They offer hourly rates for the same reason that soda, beer, coffee, shampoo, and everything else is sold individually -- most people can't afford or simply don't want to pay for the entire thing.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of promiscuous Filipinas floating around. But I'd bet that most of the couples you see at those motels are actual couples, and that's probably the only action they're getting all week or month.

Most Filipinos couldn't even afford anything more frequent than that.

They say Filipinas are usually Catholic, though often I've found they're more like "animist Catholic". Keeping bug-infested rice because it's bad luck to throw out, throwing salt on cursed houses, etc.

I once dated a Filipina from rural Mindanao, and I was asking what kind of room we should book. "We should get one on the ground level, that way ghosts can't come up through the floor." I burst out laughing and looked at her, but she was completely serious, deadpan. That was awkward.

You will have a good time in Thailand then. Almost every girl there seriously believes in ghosts. That is also the reason why you shouldn't take a nap in the evening. Ghosts could come and you will never wake up again.

That is a good move. Once you get out of Manila I think you'll find the women to be sweeter and you'll have higher value. Especially as a 45+ year old guy. Also you'll just enjoy the more relaxed pace of not being in a big city. I've never been to Cebu, but I've read that Dumaguete is very chill.

OK well I got to Cebu, and checked into the Azia suites hotel cebu (hope you don't mind the recommendation - they were good, with good internet, and $30/night). Hotel half way between Mango and the Ayala centre.

I have in the past suffered from depression, and take Venlafaxine medication daily, which controls it perfectly. Since I have not had symptoms of depression for 6 years now, a few years ago I halved my dose without telling my doctor. The mistake I made is that I reduced it by a further third around 5 weeks ago. Big mistake, because on arriving in Cebu I felt the symptoms coming on again.

I pushed on through the symptoms, and approached a few women in Ayala. One or two of them seemed interested, and I got a couple of numbers, which is better than I normally get in the UK. One I took on an instant date, but I had to dump her after 10 minutes because she asked me to buy her lunch (not good that early on).

Later on after chatting to some older guys at an Expat bar I got chatting to a girl walking up the hill towards Mango. Took her to another bar, but as soon as she got there she completely blanked me. Music was loud, and I left.

It was midnight and I was walking back towards the hotel, when a girl came up to me all friendly, and basically offering me sex in a short-time hotel. No way was she not asking for money, I thought, and yes it was 1000 pesos. What the heck I thought, I'm on holiday, and I might as well.
On arrival at the hotel it went pear shaped. Ladyboy.
I tried to get out of the hotel, but the "thing" asked for 10000 pesos. "it" blocked the door to the hotel room, and started texting on "it's" phone, presumably to get its friends to come along to mug me of the rest of my cash. I had to act quickly, so I barged him away from the door with my shoulder, and opened it to leave. Fortunately he didn't put up more of a fight, and I walked out of there (walked, not run).

Went to bed, but woke up after 2 hours in a sweat - the depression was back much worse. Took double the dose, and after a further 12 hours I was worse again (treatment often makes you worse in the first few days).
It wasn't safe to remain in the Philippines, so I flew home.
After 4 days back home in the UK, I'm almost 100% again.

So overall a disappointment. But I do think the Philippines does have promise. I'm not going to let a couple of bad experiences put me off, even if I was a tad reckless at times. I'll keep stocked up with the happy pills, and come back in a few months.

It sounds like you had a really shit time. Let's be real though. It's never OK to pick up some rando who approaches you on the late hour streets in southeast asia. No matter how hard up you get always avoid these denizens of the night.

It's always rolling the dice big time unless you actually see some girl eyeball fucking you in the club and she approaches you right on the doorstep and interacts with you in a way you are sure she's not a pro or is sporting cock.

Cebu has never been that good for me anyways..just average but not great. I think it's overhyped big time because just about anywhere in Manila is way better due to variety and density. I don't like Cebuanas much either. I think guys who like Cebuanas inherently like girls who are more westernized and carry that attitude.

Best girls I met in Cebu were not from Cebu. That says a lot.

KOF, I'm not sure how much of a solo traveler you are, but my first solo experience was going to the Philippines and it was "stressful". Exciting, and fascinating, but anything that like that will also have an undercurrent of stress attached to it.

Maybe next time start out at a resort, or some place that's more peaceful. Even if you do the whole Manila/Cebu thing again you probably will be in much better shape to handle it because you'll already know what it's like and what to expect.

I remember getting of the plane in Manila and my eyes were burning from the pollution. I thought to myself, "What the fuck did I just get myself in to?!"

It's also important to connect and make friends with other guys, especially RVF members and ex-pats. It helped me feel more grounded and secure to be with other like-minded people in the same boat.

I am a bit of a risk taker - indeed I think to achieve anything useful in life you have to take calculated risks, and that's why I am. But the key is that the risk/reward spectrum has to be in your favour.

So you are, of course, quite correct. That "denizen" of the night seemed harmless enough at the time at first, but it not a good risk to take, and I shouldn't have done it.

KingOfFire, don't let yourself discourage from your disappointing experience. The first time and especially the first days in a new country are never the best. My first solo trip to Southeast Asia was pretty shit too. I spent way too much money, fucked only one girl (granted, it was a travel-only trip) and didn't really see much during those 6 weeks because I was an inexperienced traveler. Second trip one year later was much better and the third one was amazing.

I second that. My second trip to any place is always better. Where in same period of time I got 1 girl, I would now get 2. I am wondering if this growth is ever going to stop.

@KOF Try using online game to pipeline 2 weeks ahead of your next trip. Have some girls lined up.
I am not sure how depression works, but if you are ever planning to go off the medicine again do it when you are on the fuck spree with new girls every day or every 2nd day. I am guessing you might be so satisfied and so happy that depression will leave you alone and not come back until the pussy flow has dried up.
But do not consult a female doctor on this.
