Would be interesting to know if the milionaire population really moved away from France or if they just transfered their milions to UK, US, Canada, Australia and Israel while staying in Paris.

I'm not a genius when it comes to economics but when more and more milionaires leaf with their cash, than is this probably not a good indication and the Minister of Finance will go through the roof right?

A proof that very rich people are mortally afraid of melting-pot and islamism, both out of hand in Paris, is: very big luxury apartments on the Parisian real estate place, stay much, much longer on the market before finding a buyer.

I have. They finance themselves through their own membership. Memberships fees and small donations. They also don't have very high operative costs.

We also have some form of official political freedom, yet certain parties - like the Communist Party for example - are banned. Islam isn't just religious but also political, which is why the same principle could apply here. - Otherwise I could just establish the Communistianity religion with the worship of Marx as its central dogma and they'd have to allow me to build my "houses of worship" and let me preach my doctrine.

I was in Israel back in 2012 (birthright trip) and the locals were telling about how there was a huge influx of rich Jewish Parisians moving into wealthy Tel Aviv neighborhoods due to rising anti-semitism in France.

I can only imagine the situation now.

No, I didn't know that. I have just seen some protests by them and sometimes I watch some videos by one of their Austrian public figures.
I feel like they have gained quite some ground in Austria. Hopefully it will spill over to Germany.

Funny enough, I've been to North America several times but I've never come around much in Europe. I plan to make a motorbike tour through Europe in 2 years (if the world still exists by then ) and will try to come to one of those meetings then. 2: Rich people left because the French government went after their assets. I believe a 70% tax on income was thrown in there and other measures. If you wanted to stay rich as french person you needed to leave France. And they did.

I just attended a debate on the Syrian migration issue as it relates to the U.S. between two notable thinkers: One conservative and one libertarian.

They pointed out their fundamental disagreement:

The conservative stated he thinks no one has a right to enter the U.S. and that we as a nation can make exceptions for people we want to let in.

The libertarian said he thinks everyone has a right to enter the U.S. and that we as a nation can make exceptions for people we don't want to let in, typically criminals, terrorists, etc.

It's puzzling that anyone would choose the second option, especially in light of recent terror attacks.

Additionally, another interesting point from the conservative thinker: The amount of money we spend per refugee by resettling them to the U.S. and giving them benefits could instead be spent helping 12 refugees resettle in a neighboring nation in the Middle East (e.g., Saudi Arabia).

Obviously some leftists might say Saudi Arabia sucks so of course refugees wouldn't want to move there.

He then stated that if you come across a lake with 12 people drowning, which is more ethical: Provide 12 life vests and save all 12 people-- or provide 1 luxurious yacht and rescue 1 person?

Of course this doesn't factor in that Saudi Arabia refuses to take anyone. But we could negotiate and have them take the migrants if push came to shove.

Rich French have been leaving for way before this whole shit comes down.

I worked a few months as an intern at the financial headquarters for the 3rd richest man in France. The way I see it, the top of the top rich are immune because they can hire rich lawyers to hide their assets. The top 10% but not yet at the 1% however are taxed to death and are handicapped in many ways. There are no assets/property protection laws in France. I posted before on how a migrants can sneak into your house and make it his and there's nothing you can do about it.

The rich French I know all have left for Asia or Canada or US. My boss bought a Thailand 10 year visa for 50k dollars and he now has a little palace there.

There's no reason to stay in France if you are rich, unless you are fifthy rich. The whole mentality is against financial successes. It's like being thin in USA: everybody hates thin, fit people but everybody wants to be like them.

The funny/serious message of the video is so over-the-top that it may as well have just been a Syrian or African fucking a German wife while her husband watches. I would be interested to know the cycle of this type. At the moment, my city of Vancouver is having its day. The wealthy from all over the world are buying property here and in the summer it has a "resort city" going on.

What does it take for that money to start fleeing? Its not just Muslims as one of the biggest real estate bulls here is Sheikh Hamdan of Dubai. I guess when there is money, people are civil. But when the poor Muslims and the Islamists start coming here it will be the beginning of the end.

What would keep things peaceful here? Right now this must be one of the safest, cleanest and most respectful cities in the world.

I just keep trying to look as far into the future as possible, for my benefit as well as my sons.

I live in the general area of Vancouver as well. There's new housing being built often even way out in the eastern suburbs where I live. The population is increasing and with it there are issues with infrastructure and integration. In my region there is already a sizable homeless and transient population and I assume if there are thousands of impoverished 'refugees' and migrants incoming soon that might not be employable there will be more people lining up at the ministry office.

It would bother me that people from god knows where might have the red carpet rolled out for them while people I have met in person and have spent time with who are disabled continue to live in piss poor housing sometimes in group homes due to the lack of affordable housing. It would bother me if random foreign people can get housed comfortably but people from Canada with chronic mental health and physical health issues get the shaft.

I don't think I could father any sons without the extreme fear that they would have a much greater lack of masculine direction than I had because of the current state of education and culture in the province. I hope your sons will be able to grow up to be strong and determined members of the community.

The good parts of Vancouver are excellent. Downtown around Granville Island and English Bay is beautiful. But If you manage to walk around the still scuzzy parts of the DTES you'll see the future of the area if thousands upon thousands of 3rd world people flow in. The hobos are moving eastward as they are pushed out by housing developments in the Metro Vancouver area. I see these people often, especially the mentally ill types. Its bloody depressing and it might just get worse in some areas. I hate to say it but some parts of the Lower Mainland might become no go zones.

Some call it 'gentrification'. I don't know. But if the very rich continue to buy up land and slowly push out the lower income people and renters out of areas there could be issues. I am a bit concerned. If only takes a few hundred or thousands of very well organized economically depressed islamists to screw things up. Dark days indeed.
