I wasn't aware that telling a girl you're a paper pusher moistens panties.

I just tell girls I'm a stripper. Seriously, that's my initial answer and keep them guessing for awhile.

Then I just tell them alot of what I do is confidential, which in reality is pretty true.

It also helps to have a fun job like my weekend job.

4 minutes into a one set, some guy comes up and starts talking to your girl. He's getting close, but you have no idea what he's saying. You are getting AMOG'd more by the second.

What do you do?

The noise level makes it tough.

I like to ask the guy questions and make him look boring:

Me; So, are you from here?
Him : No, nebraska.
You: hmm. What part?
Him: Lincoln area.
You: Cold there in the winter.
Him: Yeah it is.
You: Job brought you here?
Him: Yes, I work in tech.
You: Nice...
Then turn say something fun and open ended to the girl..

You're trying to ask your answers in a way that his answers will make him look like a boring, uninteresting person. ( he'll be answering, "yes" "No" , etc)

Or, say to her:
So, are you going to introduce me to your boyfriend?
Her: He's not my boyfriend!
You: Oh, okay, well I guess he's your friend. How long have y'all known each other?
Her: I don't know him!
If the guy over hears her distancing herself, he may slink off.
If he doesn't:
You: Not your boyfriend? That makes sense, heh, I didn't think he was tall enough for you. ( provided you're taller or some such slight neg to get her laughing like an inside joke. You'd whisper something like this in her ear so she giggles and it's inside between you and her)
Then, "Hey, you have to check this out over by the bar"
Grab her hand and walk off, "We'll see you in a bit man"

You need to make him either look boring, or push him at the girl and make the girl distance herself.

Easier said than done of course, but these tactics can work. Be witty and unreactive. Let him be the bafoon or boorish one if it comes to that.

Finally, someone gives a good answer.

Like robreke and Ensam said it was a weird situation.

I was posted up, facing away from the bar, she was next to me facing me. She wasn't "mine" yet, we hadn't kissed, gotten physical, or exchanged numbers. I was just some random guy talking to her. I wasn't in her head, I wasn't in control, I didn't know who she was and what her story was. It was hard to read. If she wasn't interested, this would be the perfect opportunity for her to leave. If she did like me...she would expect me to rise to the occassion and scare away the other guy.

The guy actually came up from behind, grabbed her arm and started talking to her.

If you read body language, you'd know that he was intimidated. Why was he hiding behind her? Why was he facing down so I couldn't hear him? Why didn't he try to address both of us instead of just her? He was scared. At the same time, she wasn't giving any signals that was uncomfortable. I thought I had completely lost the set, which is unfortunate because she was a spicy South American with juicy titties.

So, like in any situation, I thought What Would Donald Trump Do?

OK I didn't say "get em out of here!" but I moved closer to the girl and said in a strong, low voice, "who's your friend?" After that he recognized who the alpha male was, we talked for a few minutes, and he scurried away. Turns out he had opened her before me, the set went south, and he was running a Hail Mary play.

Oh - and I ended up banging the girl. Good thing I can Control My Thoughts and Emotions, and didn't worry about "losing my dignity" or whatever. A true abundance mentality would do the same thing, why would you just walk away? Because you would look like a "beta simp" in front of these two people? Who cares? Why are you giving other people the power to affect your emotions?

It sounds like you handled this so called AMOG just fine red. I mean, you chased him off and banged the girl haha.

It never hurts to hear others' ideas though.

I'm stealing this line. Next time someone asks about my beard it'll be my go too. Your beard is too damn long as of late though. It might be easier if you trim it down a bit. You have the Egyptian Pharaoh chin mixed with Viking with it as it is.

Your jawline isn't weak so it doesn't warrant it as much. On the smell itself, I tend to fix it by applying after shave to my face after such an issue appears. The smell goes away after a few washings a bit after that.

I had a date tonight with probably the most cuntish girl I've been out with in years. We had matched on tinder some time back but due to scheduling conflicts never met. I had kept her contact info and since she was a 28yo Asian 7+ I kept thinking she was one who got away.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I hit her with a restart text. She replies with 'who is this?' and I remind her of me and she quickly remembers. I ask her out for a drink and we set a date. On the day of the date she calls me and apologizes for flaking but says she has to work late. She seems nice on the phone and I respect her for calling. I wait about a week and go for the reschedule which she agrees to which was tonight.

When I arrived at the lounge she shows up right behind me wearing a sweater and tight leather pants. She's a high 7 in person but her attitude is instantly standoffish. We sit down and she crosses her legs away from me and starts making passive aggressive comments about the place I chose for our date. I stay unreactive and do the standard agree and amplify.

Throughout the night she goes from hot to cold, acting engaged with me and then makes veiled insults at me disguised as 'playful' comments. At this point I wanted to use this as practice keeping my cool and verbally sparring with her.

When we got on the subject of drinks and alcohol she warmed up considerably and softened her tone towards me. We were done with our second drink and I invited her back to my place for our third round and she agreed. I teased her about judging my drink making skills and I think this is where I lost her. Side note: I really wanted to hate fuck her so that was my end game.

We split the check and on our way to our cars I told her about parking at my place and she hits me with 'you assume a lot'. I reply with 'what? I invited you over for a drink and you already said yes'. She replied with 'I'll see you next time, bye' and gave me a weak side hug.

I'm fine with her not coming over but I know I need to work on toning down the shit test comebacks. I tend to feel like I need to get the last word in and it ends up being a form of over gaming on my part.

OTSC that girl just rubs me the wrong way with just that one line.

At least you didn't pay her tab - which is where I think you lost her. She agreed to going with you - assuming you were going to pay the bill but split it.

Some bitches that rubs them the wrong way.

I also would've told her to just get into my car, make her think as less as possible.

Your retort went on the defensive, that was definitely a shit test, the response failed it.

"You assume alot"

-Only what I observe
-Nah, not really.
-And what's that ? (calling her on it)
-Better than too little (smirk)

Those are a few off the top of my head.

Sounds like a next, I guess you can follow up on her.

If a woman ever is passive aggressive with me, and tries talking shit.

I immediately call that out and slap that shit down. I don't have the time or patience to put up with it.

Saturday I hit an old plate I invited to a house party.
Monday I jumped on my regular.

Time to complete the circle.

Wish me luck gents.

Last completed one of these in '08.

The splitting of the tab was her idea and based on how hot and cold the whole date went I wasn't about to argue or insist on paying for the whole thing.

As for calling her out on shit I spent most of the night doing that. I called her on her defensive body language, her constant bitch shield, her judgmental attitude. You name it I was calling it and treating her like a sulking teenager. It wasn't until finally after almost two drinks and a decent conversation about mixology that she seemed to drop the whole entitled princess bitch facade and show real personality.

As for her shit testing me regarding coming to my place, maybe it was and maybe it wasn't. Regardless, I don't have time nor the patience to have to first think about how every single word is some kind of test. Fuck that.

In my 4+ years of red pill/game from my countless first dates I can count on one hand the ones who were just miserable to deal with in person and this one may have moved to the top of the list. That alone doesn't bother me, that's just part of the game. What pisses me off was how wrong my gut feeling was about her and I essentially brought this one back from the dead only for it to be a total bust. Oh well, on to the next...

OTSC don't beat yourself up too bad about this we have all gone with a gut feeling only to have it backfire

No harm no foul, and you didn't invest days/weeks/months into the lame ass chick. As a player of this particular game, we can only lead the interaction and extend the opportunity. The rest is up to her to recognize who she is rubbing shoulder's with act according - good, bad or indifferent.

Also recognize the way she started the date off, she was looking for something to disqualify you on and she "found" it.

Thanks MDP. I'm more pissed at myself in how I handled the whole situation. The shit tests/insults from her were almost non stop and while I had a decent comeback for every one of them it felt like I devolved into some kind of performing animal and she got the best of me. In hindsight I should have talked less, ignored most of her comments and bailed after the first round of drinks. I feel as though my ego got the best of me and I kept trying to turn it around. That and the fact that I wanted to rip her leather pants off and hate fuck her! tard

Rant over...thanks for the support gents!

I got my first 1st Date Bang at the weekend!

And I'm amazed at how simple it was.
I was in my hotel room a few weeks ago on my last night and was idly swiping left and right. I got a match and fired off a quick message with opening bait and after a little back and forth threw out a Hail Mary. And she responded to it, which I still find hard to believe. I've never had a Hail Mary play that actually worked.
It took longer than usual to work out the logistics but eventually got there. She even jumped in the car and drove to me. Again - never had that happen.
We came back to my room and I offered the finest water my taps had to offer. Made some small talk, I threw out a few more pieces of bait and got a few laughs with my impressions routine.
A little while later I asked for her hand to compare tans. Lame excuse to escalate physically. Stood up, brought her up to me and started making out. From there it was pretty standard stuff.

And there's something I finally comprehended for the first time.
I learned French when I was in school and was familiar with how it was called the language of love but I never really got why until that night. Man, hearing her whisper that stuff in the throes of passion. I get it now. I really get it.

What a rush. Just a shame I'm back in the West now so it's back to dealing with the usual types of women.

Yeah, I think the agree/amplify just escalated the whole situation and not in the good escalating kind of way. It ended up becoming a pissing match between the two of us.

Looking back, she was pissy the instant we met outside the bar. My spidey senses were telling me to eject even before our first drinks arrived but I took it as a challenge to see how my game would do with her.

If she were someone I had cold approached I would have instantly nexted her without even a second thought.

Nah man a girl with a resting bitch face or a shitty attitude tend to be the most fun to break in. It just takes a bit more work is all.

As WIA put it no girl in our worlds goes with a guy anywhere if she is not interested in him. The only thing I feel negative towards is false advertising in terms of a girl's looks. Other than that taking the chance to get the bang is always good practice.

Anyone flaked on a girl, she got mad but you still banged her later?

I just flaked on a 19 y/o. My day was swamped and I was running on fumes when I came home.

I did a Hail Mary over text. Suggested she come over instead of us meeting halfway as was the original plan. That way I'd summon some last-stand zing since logistics wouldn't be a cockblock or energy drain.

Turns out she would've had no problem coming straight over, but already drank some wine and got a ride to the bar. So I flaked on her, and she got real mad:

Me: You know what X, let's rain check this. I'm about ready to pass out, it's been a really long day. I'll make it up to you.
Girl: Wtf, you serious
You can forget that when you ditch me 1 hour before we're supposed to meet
Never, bye
Me: Yeah kinda feel like an asshole, gotta be honest though. Lame reaction, bye

True, I acted like an asshole by flaking on her in this manner; no denying that. Was I too honest? No way I'd pull the "my best friend was in an accident and he needs me" shit that girls pull sometimes. Is there any chance of restarting? Laugh

Yup. I strait up no showed on a girl once - she was already waiting for me at the bar. I thought I'd be able to slip out of work but something came up. She was pissed. I called her two days later and asked her out again and it was like nothing had ever happened. Would have gotten the first date bang but got called away to work again so I had to cut the date short. Went out a second time and sealed the deal. Honestly, I think flaking on her and then having to cut a date short improved my chances of getting the bang. She was the type of girl who was used to guys dropping everything to try and be with her (8 with enormous perfect breasts).

In the future don't respond to her getting butt hurt. Women only remember they way they're currently feeling so if you just let it pass without incident everything will blow over. She'll respect you more for not prioritizing her.

With the summer heating up, this is a reminder to Just Say Something:

Quote:You’re standing in front of a cute girl at the supermarket check-out line. You put the food on the conveyor belt, stealing glances at her as she fiddles with her phone. She looks up briefly at you, then looks back down. You want to say something, anything halfway clever, to get her smiling and a conversation rolling, with the ultimate intention of a phone number exchange, or even, dare you ponder it!, an insta-date to the nearest coffee shop.

But the moment evaporates silently, your mouth paralyzed except for the “I don’t need a bag” you say to the cashier. Another wasted opportunity. But you brush it off easily as soon as you are out the door, figuring you have years ahead of you and plenty of chances to meet girls in similar situations down the road.

The next day, you fumble another opportunity with a girl pumping gas next to you at the gas station. And again, you glibly excuse your inaction with the comforting thought that years of opportunities await you.

The same scene in different contexts is repeated… until those years have passed and the glib excuses don’t come so easily anymore. Regret weighs on you like a stone hung around your neck.

***

Does the above describe you? If you are like most men, it does, too often for your liking. There are many sticking points in game, from meeting to sex to relationship, but the one sticking point that nearly every man experiences, and which holds him back more than any other, is the inability to open his fucking mouth and say something… anything… to a girl he finds attractive. This is the Grand Hurdle, the obstacle that looms like an unscalable wall between him and any new girl.

Conquer this mental barrier, and you have improved your game a thousandfold from where you were before. Why do I say this?

Because every time you don’t talk to a girl is a failure. A failure to at least give yourself a shot at sex and love with her. Think about that for a second. Each one of the thousands upon thousands of good-looking girls who have attracted your attention over the years that you didn’t talk to out of fear and apprehension is your failure.

You have failed each and every one of those times, and your instances of failure now add up to the thousands, perhaps tens of thousands. Hundreds of thousands if you live in a non-obese oasis of America.

That, my friends, is massive fail. No game technique can obliterate more failure, more effectively, than simply opening your mouth and saying something to the girl standing next to you.

Let the words flow. You must abide the words.

So powerful, and yet such a simple concept so universally rejected by the vast majority of men. See that cute girl in the aisle picking through the apples? You’re not the only man with lockjaw. Thousands of other men also stood stupefied as that same girl browsed apples all the other days of the year. Sure, there were a couple of men here and there who managed to say something to her, and now maybe one (or two) of those men are currently fucking her. But for the most part, your competition in the Just Say Something sweepstakes is laughably weak.

So you shouldn’t worry about formulating the perfect witty opener, or a great one-liner that will instantly attract her, if that worry is causing you to abandon any attempt. You’re better off saying something geeky than saying nothing at all.

Naturally, you will want to work at honing your JSS method so that what you do say is maximized toward piquing her interest. But if you’re tongue-tied, mentally masturbating about the cleverness quotient of the opener you are mulling in your head is worse than staying silent. If the choice is between sullen silence and blurting out whatever nonsensical crap comes to you, always go with the nonsensical crap.

In that spirit, here are some JSS openers you can use in various scenarios. Some of these are cheesy, and that’s the point. The goal is to get you talking in a natural, unforced way to a girl without dwelling too heavily on proper game technique.

I know many of you men have stood in that supermarket line in front of the cute girl with your mouths glued shut, hoping for a flash of inspiration which never came. Read these, and be inspired to pull out your iPod earplugs. These are your first step to defeating the silence.

Supermarket:

“I hear frozen blueberries are in season this year.”

“That’s an excellent ice cream choice.”

“I’m going to read this tabloid and be proud of it.”

“I sometimes judge people by their food purchases. Don’t say you’ve never done that.”

Liquor store:

“Do you think it’s possible to buy single cans of beer? I like to pretend I’m not a lush.”

“That’s a good selection of bottom shelf liquor you got there.”

“Where’s the beer funnel?”

Book store:

“Do you know where the pop-up/color by numbers book section is?”

“I can’t believe this place doesn’t serve pizza.”

Mall clothing store:

“You ever notice how you always get more tired standing in a mall store than anywhere else?”

“Is purple the new black?”

“You look like the kind of girl who knows a lot about cufflinks.”

Farmer’s market:

“An apple always tastes better outdoors.”

“I think my transformation to yuppie is complete.”

“Did you try the fig butter? No? Count your blessings.”

“The world would be a better place if we were all grass-fed.”

Pool hall:

“Don’t worry. That was just the stick.”

“I drink until I see twelve holes. That’s how my game gets better.”

Sidewalk, waiting for crosswalk signal:

Give her the stink-eye. “You look like the jay-walking type.”

“Hi, sidewalk stranger.”

Porta-potty line:

“Too late. I loaded my diapers.”

Just kidding on that last one.

Just got back from a date with a Coffee Meets Bagel match

Tiny 5'0, cute tan skinned 7....Indian girl

Yeah not much to write about.

She just felt super shy, I understand.

Had a few laughs....then got into a retarded discussion about guns. Talking about stricter gun laws. I soothed her hamster and changed subjects.

I got the hint she wanted to get rid of them all.

Her music taste just sucked.

She was afraid to bounce venues, so I called her on it.

Of course she's going for her PhD she focuses alot on her work - basically a career whore. All work no fun.

She did travel which was cool, but all about work, or the lab, or something else.

She just didn't seem to have much of a personality - being Indian didn't strike me as having princess jasmine syndrome.

I barely huge close the girl. She was stumbling on words saying goodbye to me, either nervous or surprised I cut the date short or didn't kiss her.

I was more excited about drinking my protein shake before bed, than being on that date.

She was a pretty face, no connection, boring.

As an expansion to Just Say Something, I want to reflect on the field we're playing on.

Masculinity is in crisis, family values are nonexistent, boys are being raised in safe spaces, rape culture scares men from pursuing women, etc. All of these are common topics for us around here.

Men are in trouble, but guess what, those men are our competition. A few days ago we found only 2.7% of Americans live healthy lives. How many of those 2.7% dress well and approach women? How many have the outstanding advantage of being able to consult the RVF when they have issues with women? The number is TINY.

Last Saturday, I was feeling reluctant to go out solo. I'm still not a huge fan of rolling solo. In order to get myself in the mood, I started thinking about good approaches I've had in the past, good sex, epic nights, all due to cold approach.

Then it hit me: "Women are WAITING for men like me to approach them."

Women are tired of getting 100 messages on tinder, none of them are getting married, they're not used to meeting high quality males. Girls go out to bars in order to meet an interesting man like me.

This was confirmed later, when I was doing some post coital talk with the girl I pulled for a ONS. She said "you know, it took a lot of balls for you to talk to me. Most guys don't do that."

Do you know what my opener was?

"Hey. How's your night going?"

That's it. I put myself in a good situation, opened anything that interested me, and played the fucking game. Just Say Something.

Picking up girls is an example of the 80/20 rule: look good, talk to girls, and you'll get laid. The other 20% (mid game, sex, phone game, retention, etc.) come with time and experience.

Talking to girls instantly puts you in the 1% of males who approach. Being an active (and legitimate) member of this forum puts you in the 0.01%.

I think I just cut a plate loose last night. My hands were tied.

Girl I met while traveling for business. Very cute and sweet, albeit a little weird and hippie-ish. I've seen her since when traveling back to that city for work, and she even flew out here to spend a few days with me.

Last night she called me on the phone just to chat, as smitten girls are apt to do. She confessed that she was developing stronger feelings for me and getting together with me again would like "seal the deal" as far as emotion investment goes on her end.

I wasn't about to lead her on and say that's what I wanted, so I told her if she feels too invested I can't give her the reassurance that I want the same thing or have any sort of plan for commitment in my near future. Told her it was getting late and we should both get some sleep.

I'd like to take this example as a reminder to all you players out there to know when to cut a girl loose. Women are wonderful creatures, but don't be a selfish cad. If a woman truly wants something you aren't prepared to give her then let her go find it. I wouldn't feel right soothing this girl's mind just to get her to fly out here again for a fun weekend fuckfest and fall in love with me when I am banging other girls and have little to no interest in shacking up.

Agree especially with the experience part. The game is learned in the field, until you experience it first hand it is difficult to internalize principles of game.

Cosigned also. What's funny is when I look back, some of my most satisfying moments were seeing a really hot woman who I chose and then chatting her up, even for just a minute, over some random shit like tea, frozen foods etc.

Compare that to my meeting up with an online girl who doesn't look like her photos, I would never approach if I saw her in person, and then figuring, what the hell it's a slow Tuesday night, I'll try for the bang anyway. Dodgy

I've deleted my Tinder and Bumble profiles, time for me to hit the streets...

Ever have a nerdy freshman kill an approach for you?

Girl with her friend asks out loud if there's a bathroom. I of course answer and was about to continue the conversation, but our lovely Steve Erkel looking ass decides to ask her about her dog which she probably mentioned earlier to her friend.

Props for him to opening her before I could open my mouth again in that exact moment I directed her slightly less better looking friend away, but having to engage him in conversation over a pretense so I could redirect it back to her allowed her friend to come back and getting their own conversation going again.

Just my luck today. I lose a chess piece and an approach was ruined. I'm just salty this girl was an 8 and way out of this guy's league.

Pull up to my local spot, sit down at the bar. Chick, legit blonde 9, comes back from the bathroom and sits down next to me. She's there with a dude so I chill and shoot the shit with the bartender. Chick gives me an opinion opener, I respond, pretty soon she's touching my arm, then my leg. Tells me the dude she's with is a guy she knows from high school, so I figure, shit it's on. I drop some bait, evening is wrapping up, she starts telling me where she works, says I should stop by sometime. I say, hey, you should just give me your number. She goes, I don't usually give out my number. I say, do I seem like a usual guy? She demurs and I ask if she's just flirting with guys to drum up business for her bar. She denies it but keeps telling me I should come in and check it out.

A few thoughts:
a) She really is just trying to get more regulars are her bar
b) She didn't want to seem slutty in from of the guy, I might get further if I go game her at her bar
c) I should have asked her more about herself, been more interested in her in general. Most girls haven't met a guy like me, when I tell them about what I do and who I am they usually get interested but I always forget to ask them about themselves and make them feel like I actually give a shit about who they are.
d) She's got a guy and is trying to line up the B-team.

The bar is one I've been meaning to check out so I might pop in on a night when I've got nothing else going on and see what's up.

[This is all just very frustrating because I feel like I'm so close to making a major breakthrough and slaying it with 8s and 9s on the reg. but I'm not quite there yet]
