I don't really have a real routine in the way a invite girls out. I think it depends on a time of day. In the morning or during the day its out for coffee, in the evening its out for drinks. This worked perfectly well in Bangkok, but seems to be different here. Lesson learned.

Second that. Had fun times in Manila with the guys there. Seems time to do the same in Cebu.

I thought I was smooth by taking the chocolate some of my girls would give me, and give it to other girls. Only today did I realize through facebook that the chocolate they gave me was given to them on valentines day the week before and they wiped away the message written on it. Gotta admire the irony.

Some days I would set out to other areas for a day trip, or make open ended plans that transformed into full day excursions. The only downside to these were the battery on my phone would often die towards the end and make logistics a pain. If this happens to you, there's a few options. You can stop into your local minimart or 7/11 and charge your phone at the charging stations at a rate of 5php/10minutes. Some of the locals do this and it's a good opportunity to day game while you wait as long as your phone is in sight at all times. They also sell portable battery chargers which you can plug your phone into on the go. A bit bulky, but they fit in a pocket and are usually only slightly larger than a phone. If you're with a girl you trust enough, you can have her put it with your plugged in phone in her purse for a few hours while you're together.

Those power banks are essential in Indonesia. Because of the poorly developed mobile network the battery dies really quick and almost everyone who owns a smartphone also has a power bank with him all the time. You should be careful where you buy it though. A lot of the power banks sold on the street are cheap copies that don't have the capacity they are advertising. It is better to spend a few bucks more and buy a real one.

Cebu Pacific flights are cheap enough if your based in MNL. RT flights can run as low as $70 RT and if you find the right flight schedule can get the night flight back and arrive at 1 AM.

Americans can stay up to 3 years continuously, you just have to renew your visa every 2 to 6 months.

I think once the 3 years is up you just have to leave and come back to restart.

With my real profile I might get 10 visitors and 2 messages a day (I guess with my 23 years I get filtered out a lot and hence don't have many visitors). With my new profile my inbox is blowing up. I already said it before a few times: in the Philippines it is an advantage to be or look older in terms of quantity of girls. When it comes to quality I think I am still doing better with my real profile but I am sure I would do better if I was 5-10 years older. It shows that the majority of girls on FC are looking for a guy who finances them rather than a guy they are physically attracted to.

I always blow my age up to 32-33 when I'm signing up on any Asian dating site. Most of those chicks have age filters like "between 30 and 45" set so when you're 23 you don't even show up on their matches list.

The reason I did this was that I always read on this forum that your inbox will blow up as soon as you create a FC account but it never really happened to me. That is probably the reason why I did a lot better with Tinder than with FC.

I also noticed this age thing when I was talking to girls in the Philippines who I met during the day or the night. Interestingly, Filipinos are the only ones who can guess my age right. An additional tip:

It was filipinocupid. I am at 184 messages now, most of them from poor looking, unattractive girls. I wonder how far they are willing to go. Perhaps a 80 year old could still get dozens of messages from 18 year old filipinas.
