Haha, I had this same conversation with Dagnasty a couple weeks ago. It's my theory that Pinays (and Pinoys) do all these things (crying, jealousy, stalking-lite, etc) to show you they love you. A lack of emotional intensity is a sign that they've grown "cold" and are losing feelings for you. All the teledramas seem to confirm it. If someone isn't crying or yelling over you at some point, or at the very least giving tampo, the perception is that they're not serious about you.

Not always fun to deal with it to start, but distance kills whatever charm is left. I mean, you don't even get the make up sex after.

I have a Japanese friend (male) who went diving in Cebu, I tried to get him to come visit me for a few days in Manila, took some convincing, he was 'fearing for his life'. Then again apparently the Philippines are not perceived too positively in Japan in general.

Hey, what do you guys think about doing a 10 day trip to Manila on 1200 dollar budget? It'll cost 650 to get over there (so a bit over half the budget).

My native currency is USD. Is that enough money to have decent logistics and have an okay time in the Philippines? Not planning on living like a baller, but would like 3 meals a day.

If not, what would you recommend I increase my budget too?

edit: I'm a bit confused about the visa, do I need to purchase on to go to the Philippines if I am an American?

$55 minus accommodation will be high level nickel and diming, I haven't seen any AirBnB room worth staying in under $40.

I'd recommend you to increase your budget to $30 a day after flights and accommodation.

You'll get your visa on arrival for free, you may or may not be asked to show your return ticket.

Just booked a flight to Manila. Will be staying there for an entire month of April. Can someone please help me out to choose an apartment through airbnb? I have a tight budget. I want to live in makati or the fort in under $600.
There is one listing near ayala traingle but they don't have wifi. There is another listing near greenbelt but its too small and basic. I found one close to sm aura. It's a little pricey but maybe worth it. My concern is that whether the girls will travel all the way down there to meet me or not. All the girls that I have pipelined live or work in makati. Mainly relying on online and daygame and not the expensive nightclubs of bgc. Thanks alot.

It usually means they want to meet you again.

By leaving something behind, it gives them an opportunity for them to see you again; either they contact you and ask 'did I leave something there' or they expect you will contact them to tell them that you found something.

Women have been doing this for years (decades?), they 'accidently' leave a piece of jewelry behind so there is a reason for the two of you to be in contact again.

Two very important notes in this situation:
1: Do NOT mixed up what item belongs to which woman.

2: Do NOT let either woman know that another piece of jewelry was left behind by another woman or they will know you have been with other women, since they will assume the reason they left a piece of jewelry behind is the same reason they did it.

If you can get a 1 month rental on AirBnB near the triangle or Greenbelt then prices have really gone down in the last couple of years. I was thinking it would be $1,200 minimum. Remember to take into account the AirBnB fee and cleaning charges.

You could buy a 4G pocket WiFi for about 5,000 pesos and then have something you can bring around wherever you go.

There are some basic studio apartments in $600 to $800 but the good ones are upwards of $1000. As per my inquiry the pocket wifi is 1000-1500 php. Are you taking about unlimited one? What do you recommend for gaming purposes between ayala triangle, greenbelt and the fort? I have girls mostly from Okc, facebook and tinder. Maybe I'll join filipinocupid as well.

Check rentpad.com.ph for solid prices in these areas.

I'm talking about a 4G LTE one where you can put use own Sim card from any carrier. The freedom that comes with that is more expensive than one that's tied to a specific carrier and a specific plan.

Ayala triangle is close to Greenbelt so that's splitting hairs I think. The Fort is nice of course, but traffic getting there from Greenbelt can suck.

Correct me if I'm wrong everyone, but you'll have better logistics for meeting up with online girls in the Greenbelt/Ayala Triangle area over the Fort.

IMO doesn't really matter if its BGC or Makati, they will show up. I've yet had a girl decline to meet with me cause im too far away.

For 4g depends on your signal area. Buy a 24 hour prepay check which provider is best then get a post paid plan, but they sometimes require a "visa".

Note that for cellular data in Phil there is 3G, 4G, and 4G LTE.
You need 4G LTE, if you want to get the good feed.
A 4G (non LTE) pocket wifi won't do it.

Later model iPhones and probably other premium phones will do it and then you can tether it as a wifi hot spot.

The reps at Globe will not give you an LTE card by default. You have to ask for it and they often seemed to be out of them. That was my experience a couple years ago.

Man.. typical Pinoy customer service. Let me troll a bit

'Hey, I want to buy a 4G LTE card for my phone.'

(sales rep checks and sees LTE cards offer the lowest profit margin, and the lowest commission for them personally)

"Ah, excuse me sir, we don't have LTE cards. Sorry sir, but we have 4G cards."

'No. I want an LTE card.'

"Let me check sir.. (pretends to look around for a few minutes), no we are all out. But the 4G cards are just as good sir. They're only ___ peso, a good deal."

'Nevermind, I will go somewhere else.'

"Wait sir, I just noticed. We have a few, it turns out."

I ended up meeting the earring girl again, we banged, but she did not bother to take the them back. So I guess I am starting a collection.

I was on a 5 hour layover in Manila on a flight Puerto Princessa - Manila - Singapore. And managed to get a maintenance bang with her, during her lunch break, at her place. 3 hours travelling from airport and to airport and one hour for action. That was tight, but I am now facing 6 weeks without any women due to my job...

I actually need two sim cards. One for my laptop which I'll connect using a usb stick that I am bringing with me and one for my phone to viber/whatsapp girls. Do you recommend 4g LTE for both of them?

Yes, 4G LTE is the fastest, when it's available. Not everywhere in the Phils will have reception for it and you'll just get a 4G/3G signal instead.

I don't know much about the USB stick.

Many data plans in the Phils are "time" oriented. So if your phone's mobile data setting is on you are being charged because apps are running in the background. I think you get charged in 15 min increments. So be sure to have your mobile data setting off when you are not using it (while your sleeping, etc).

I learned this the hard way when I was wondering how I could be running out of load so fast. Use the free Wi-Fi in the malls/Starbucks/etc. to cut down on load costs.

I was just writing a hypothetical scenario. I have no idea if they actually get a comish or not, or why they discourage sales of those SIMs. Might just be that Globe loses more money on 4G LTE customers for the higher bandwidth usage/faster speeds on a given service plan.

I feel so fucked right now by airbnb. On their map there was a listing just near ayala park. The condo is very basic and hardly any facilities but I didn't care as the location was perfect. I booked it for an entire month. Now my host provide me with full address and it turns out that it is located so far away near edsa corner. I checked her cancellation policy and it is the worst one- long term. So apparently the fees of airbnb and other fees will be deducted. Can someone please guide me what to do?

You can try complaining to airbnb saying that the map location is decieving, and you might get a break there.

But with airbnb, always always confirm the address and check its location before you book. Always.

'Long term' policy means you don't get a dime back, not just the fees.

Definitely contact airbnb if the location the host posted is deceiving. If that's really the case you should get a full refund if you're clear that due to being cheated you want your money back.

There's no "let's find a middle ground" when it comes to location since the listing cannot be moved, so be firm about getting your money back.

You should try contacting Airbnb, if you have ratings on you and you haven't asked for it before they might do it.

Also, take a screenshot of the location/listing in case they change it.
