While a lot of us are anti-gun (I've had to debate with a few people in my time that gun problems in America are not caused by the 2nd amendment), this guy is notorious for attempting to antagonise interviewees by instigating debates regarding violence in an attempt to prove a point.

Call it akin to the ROK article about girls with Tattoos and piercings being broken, it caused such an uproar that it's premise was beyond proven. However in this case the interviewee just throws logic back and leaves this half-man with nothing to stand on save his own aghast expression.

I assume a person born in Switzerland would be a Swiss citizen (unless he lived abroad).How will they differentiate Swiss from non Swiss?

Can anyone enlighten me why a nation would be against deporting people who are a negative variable on the country's stability? Is is the same kind of Liberalism that doesn't condone the death sentence to mass murderers?

Or perhaps a large majority of residents are in that demographic and are concerned they themselves will be deported when found guilty of a crime that was minor or they were actually innocent of the crime?

But anyone born in a country would complete the minimum residence requirement.

Foreigners with no direct blood ties to Switzerland through either birth or marriage must currently live in the country for at least 12 years before they can apply for citizenship. Years spent in the country between ages ten and 20 count double. A new law reducing the number of years of residence from 12 to 10 was passed by Parliament in June 2014 and is expected to go into effect at the beginning of 2017.

Democracy actually works when it is used the way it was intended to. The so called democracy we have in US and Europe is a sham. We merely elect our rulers among nobles. Switzerland has it right, except they gave women the vote back in the 1970s, should not have done that.

The now vote in Switzerland got rejected. Mostly because they want to deport offenders without check for the single case.

I'm not sure if it was Sartori who said that the problem with "democracy",or rather "so called democratic systems" is that they are a product of and entirely dependent on the culture that spawned it.
Therefore to expect the spaniards to apply the brit parliament system without expecting it to function differently is a grave mistake.
