I don't see how they are part of the solution; their obsession with "identitarianism" is one of the major barriers towards solidarity on our side of the fence (I am of course painting with very broad strokes here). They constantly malign "puas" and MRAs, and Roosh of course. The core ideas of "Men going their own way" are nothing I disagree with, but the fact is the "leaders" that have emerged that identify as MGTOW (BarBar and this Sandman faggot) are nothing but cultish narcissistic assholes.

You have to be an incel to take these guys seriously. Just look at the comments. If these guys were truly "going their own way" in the Aaron Clarey sense, they would have no time to bitch in youtube comments about guys who actually are getting laid.

I love the pretentiousness and general up-your-own-assness of MGTOWs. They really think they're revolutionaries for doing nothing, that somehow taking themselves off the dating market and living a life dedicated to doing as little as possible to get by is a big knock to the establishment and women. If anything they're doing exactly what the elites want them to do: stay in, keeping a low profile, avoiding women by using porn as a surrogate, and not causing trouble. Any movement which is brought together by negation will usually never move beyond negating to create something, and so must always find new things to negate. This is one of core problems with feminism and social justice--negate unequal opportunities for women > negate the role of the father > negate the nuclear family > negate capitalism > negate patriarchy--and it appears to also be becoming the problem with movements like MGTOW. As others have said, these movements become more toxic the more people begin to take them up as identity labels. Tribes to belong to, rather than just a box of tools to use when necessary and then discard when finished.

It used to be that MGTOW was just negating the notion of societal roles for men. Financial slavery to a wife and family, with women having more legal leverage to ruin a man's life. This was good. Then it sought to negate the notion of working for women in general: helping them at the job, helping them with homework, white knighting. This was also good.

Now it seems to be moving on to negating the whole idea of women, the womb, etc. These guys seem to want a world where women become like the horse; replaced by mechanized units, where only men remain, breeding endlessly with robo-wombs inside perfect dolls.

This is just radical feminism through a mirror darkly. Radfems say the same shit about men: Reduce the male population by 90%, keep 10% as breeding studs on remote ranches under 24/7 surveillance.

MGTOW is just a tool. PUA is just a tool. I'd even say Neomasculinity, or any other philosophy is just a tool. Use them for the problems in your life that they fit. Then stow them back in your toolbox and go on with life.

So I actually watched the video, since I'd never seen a video from a MGTOW before.

Basically, I would sum it up with the phrase "professional coward". Instead of just being a coward and giving up, he has to make that into a forceful advocacy. He actually thinks cowardice, keeping silent and not protesting, hiding really well, and all-round being as meek as possible, will magically bring future happiness. He calls Roosh a 'useful idiot' because he isn't meek, and actually stands up to people. He also bizarrely digresses into calling Snowden a useful idiot for no real reason, other than I guess he wasn't meek. Then he hilariously injects a claim that "we are the prize that women should be coming to".

Basically this is a turd of a man, and his ideas are nothing more than dressed-up appeasement, trolling, arrogance despite pathos, and back-stabbing of allies. Human garbage.

The attitude of "save the fighting for the enemies" is misguided. Group infighting serves a valuable purpose for that very group. It is not just detrimental. Group infighting moves the strongest and most supported elements into power at the top of that group, which improves the overall strength of that group when it clashes with others.

It is doubly misguided in this case, since this MGTOW simultaneously believes that you shouldn't raise your voice to the establishment, but seems happy raising his voice to other men who do. As a coward, he feels comfortable doing the latter but not the former -- precisely because of the people who think "at least he's one of us". No, he is not one of us, and weeds like this should be smacked down and pushed aside whenever they pipe up with their sniveling bullshit.

I think this board has sufficiently defined itself as separate from MGTOW, it's why I actually joined rather than watch depressing Sandman videos. I agree that infighting helps define the group. Look at the left, where their lack of infighting created a Bernie phenomenon / Demonic Hillary
