It was weird at first, but now that I've gotten used to it it seems fine. There's truly a myriad of topics that belong to those two main themes, and the forums have filled out nicely. I'd like to keep it this way.

However, there has been a significant drop in traffic and posts per day since then - or is that just my feeling?

I used to read the US election ones every day but since they've been moved I don't see the subforums when browsing on my phone so have not been checking up on them. That may account for lost traffic/views. Can anyone else see the subforums when viewing on mobile or am I missing something?

Reg. the European Invasion Thread in particular: The usual suspects are always there of course - in particular Parzival and Samseau have been great contributors (bless you guys). But I did enjoy seeing a broader audience in there when it was still listed under the Everything Else category. Most of the American forum readers don't follow this topic as compulsively as we do but as I pointed out before - I consider it the canary in the coal mine showing us some of the unintended consequences of unbridled feminism and in particular the evils of an open border policy. Heck I am even convinced that Hillary's Clinton's chances of becoming president have been diminished by Merkel's policies and stubborn personality. Americans are looking at that train wreck and wonder if Hillary may follow a similar path

I vote for bringing it back into the main fold.

No, that is a fact. We used to fill at least a page per day or so and right now we have dropped to at least half that. Clearly we're not getting the same amount of eyeballs.

RE: Creation of Europe and Election subforums
Since I, too, usually check the Trump and Migrant threads at least once a day, I actually thought about suggesting a new category for a while now. So in general I think it was a good idea, but I feel like the subdivisions are too specific now. My suggestion would have been to just add a "Politics"-Subforum as a new Main-category.

Except anytime someone disagrees with the alt-right you guys pounce on them and accuse them of being a SJW, limp-wrist liberal, or being blind to the "red pill" or whatever you want to call it. Personally I think the migrant invasion and political threads are great in the sub-forum, that way you guys can maintain your hive mindset, pat each other on the back, and those of us who don't want the alt-right shoved down our throats don't have to see it every time we click on the "everything else" forum.

I don't know where that came from. I for one have never accused anyone of being any of the things you mention. Given that it's such an explosive/emotional topic (and a personal one for many of us) I think the discourse has been pretty civil.

Sounds like someone is taking an online forum a little too seriously.

RE: Creation of Europe and Election subforums
I stay out of the political discussions, and I personally like this change. From my perspective, it keeps less political clutter out of EE so more topics I want to see are on the 1st page.

Also having the dedicated forums discourages super-threads which can be arduous to read through. Again I'm not one to get a hardon for politics but I know when something I'm interested in is all consolidated into a 20+ page thread it can be daunting.

RE: Creation of Europe and Election subforums
I see no major upside and the following downsides:

1. Less traffic to the threads/new sections.
2. More steps to find/read these threads.
3. The more extreme feminism is pushed in society to the detriment of men AND women, the more we need exposure to the political threads instead of being missing from the main section.

They aren't classified as subforums, they are topics. You need to make sure you are in rooshvforum and not rooshvforum "main" which only shows subforums.

Am I the only guy who just clicks 'new posts' and goes from there?

I had put the lack of recent traffic down to the whole rapegate event.

See - you're making his point though. If you have to explain it then it's HARD TO FIND!

I don't think the "Topics" section is easy enough to find. You should move these forums as "subforums" in the EE section, that way people on mobile or random visitors will notice them and click on those threads.

You've tried the Topics section for about 2 weeks, now try these same threads as sub forums under EE and see if there is more traffic or less traffic.

I suspect the subforum idea will work best.

Thanks man. I was typing "Trump Roosh" in Google to navigate to the Donald Trump thread. Imagine that ticket. I suspect my usage of the word "cuck" is going to skyrocket again.

I agree. I think traffic will go up again if they are moved the the EE section.

I made them subforums of EE. Let's try that for 2 weeks and see how it goes.

A good move in my opinion. It separates the topics, clustering similar threads together and making them easier to find, and obviates all the weird clicking.

We'll have many threads on both USA 2016 elections and the current European disaster that belong together and this way it's easier for people that do want to discuss these topics, and those that don't want to.

Bit confused between this and the private forum. Is EE now what the private war time forum >250 post was?

Apologies i only got reinvolved with the forum when it was war time. usually on disqus

I love the subforums because if we discussed all the threads inside one thread, the important talking points would be derailed after 10 posts. I hope we get even more subforums about the world as RVF grows.

Samseau you're officially going on my ignore list, I don't want to bother engaging with someone who has clear psychological issues, good luck with your impending race wars, when Donald Trump loses I'm sure you'll be on the front lines with your white supremacist buddies, hope that works out well for you!

I like them a lot better as subforums. Same compartmentalization, better visibility, easier access and browsing. This is ideal.
