I can't contribute much to this thread as I'm still a game novice. But the whole secret society thing made me realize something for the very first time after years of gaming. There's one thing that is a common thread amongst most if not all of my failures with chicks: everyone tells me I am (or most importantly look) judgemental all the time. I'm a novice too and had the same problem. My solution was just to work on my expressiveness when making eye contact. I graduated with both undergrad and grad debt. I stopped paying while in school. It took me 8 years of work to pay them all off. Now I'm debt free and have been for many years.


The morons who got 3 degrees in poetry and can't pay back Columbia are not indicative of a larger problem in capitalism.

Your net worth's biggest factor is how old you are. People just out of school have 10% of the net worth of 45-54 yr olds. Working longer and saving means older people will always be richer than younger people.

Sorry, but the national debt is just the tip of the iceberg. Let us not forget unfunded liabilities, i.e. social security and pensions. Combined with student loans, credit card debts, and mortgages, the debt is absolutely overwhelming.

Household Net Worth as of Q3 was $85 Trillion dollars. So, every debt could be paid off anytime we want. [It was still $56Tn at the 2008 low]. Net out the 37% held by the top 1%, and you still have $54 Trillion in Net worth.

Debt held by the public is only ~ 15% of that figure. And we already netted out mortgages, CC debt, etc. If we paid off every Federal loan we'd still have $40 Trillion left over in financial assets.

About 2/3s of college students have any debt. Just undergrad debt averages $23k for only those with loans. [It's 29-30k for all student loans]

65% of those with $50k+ in debt are grad students. Doctors and lawyers alone are 13% of that 65. MBAs are another big chunk.
