Should Roosh do a Kickstarter?
I think this could be another leg in marketing Roosh/RoK. Everyone knows Kickstarter has become a marketing tool to get the word out about anything that you'd care to see, from videogames (Shenmue 3 kickstarter even if it's backed by Sony's money) to bullshit feminist propaganda against said videogames (Anita Sarqueefsian).

For example, a "Social tropes against Men" series (or maybe a different name at the risk of sounding to 'me too' and directed at previously mentioned queefer), Roosh could continue his YouTube series and point out things like how BS public rape allegations are (with examples).

The money raised with this would be second to the actual outrage and new media cycle Roosh would dominate. At the risk of media fatigue, perhaps at least a few months from now would be ideal.

As well, the reward tranches could be 'mysoginistic' as shit, like at the $500 level you get to blow him or something if you're an attractive woman

Thoughts?

"Social tropes against Men"

Great idea. Maybe instead of Roosh, we hire a hoop-earringed, plaid wearing, shark faced Armenian broad doing the talking?

There's a number of reasons to not use Kickstarter for Roosh, which you can extract from their own policies.

1. 8% fee (5% to kickstarter, 3% CC processing fees).
2. It's likely many of the things you suggest Roosh offers would violate the law and their guidelines (offering women to blow him for a certain level of support).
3. Kickstarter takes quite a sweeping amount of rights over what you submit.

1. Refer to my previous post
2. Try to follow guidelines (removing blowjobs) even if it gets taken down, will still hit most medias and prove KS is left biased, why anita and not roosh?
3. More details?

Just throw $100 in the tip jar.

I have, and everyone should. Support and resources are what he needs right now.

Interesting idea but it won't work:

They've already admitted they're biased. They cancelled a fund-raiser for a guy who was making a pick-up guide after some feminists called it a "rape-manual"( Brief aside: I didn't realize ebook writing had such a massive overhead that it necessitated crowd-sourcing thousands of dollars).

Full article here

Quote:Kickstarter has backed off from support of a user who launched a successful but highly controversial "guide to getting awesome with women," issuing a blanket ban on what it calls misogynistic how-to manuals. On June 19th, a Kickstarter user completed a round of crowdfunding for Above the Game, a book that offered pickup artist-style advice to men meeting women: it closed with over $15,000 with a goal of $2,000. But as comedian Casey Malone found, the advice ranged from standard truisms to veiled endorsements of sexually assaulting women. Malone reported the project to Kickstarter, saying it was an inappropriate use of the platform and asking the company to cancel the project rather than go through with funding it.

The majority of social media and other website are owned by unabashed leftists and their sympathizers. When(not if) they shut-down Roosh's kickstarter they'll be lauded as the hero's who stopped the man who was organized pro-rape rallies, and argued for legalizing rape in private homes, from indoctrinating more men into toxic masculinity where they feel entitled to women's bodies.

See how easy it was for me, an amateur writer, to spin kick starter's eventual shut-down Roosh's campaign into positive PR? Imagine how the big news outlets would do.

It's their site, they have home field advantage. If Roosh needs to raise funds I'm sure he'd think of some way to do through the sites he has 100% control over.

I put in the ROK tip jar every month as much as I can.

But a Kickstarter in my opinion would be something glorious,
it should definitely be considered

How about Patreon instead?

IllimitableMen writes some pretty red pill stuff and he's doing pretty well with it.

Actually I am with the OP on this one. See - the RIGHT way to do this is to put up a Kickstarter campaign with the title 'Restoring Our Freedom Of Speech' with very scant/generic detail and with Roosh as the owner. You put NOTHING in there that would offend a SJW and then just watch what happens. WAIT for it to be taken down - and if it is then milk that fact for all you can.

Yeah I still think this has some marketing value, but maybe we should wait until SJWs further lose the overall media war so that the backlash against Kickstarter will be even grander.

Kickstarter seems ideal for a documentary but I have no plans to do one in the near future.

RE: Should Roosh do a Kickstarter?
I've never understood what exactly does Kickstarter does that an artist couldn't do themselves with some time spent with a laywer and a bank. Why ask a bunch of Brooklyn Hipsters to hold the money for you and keep funding people who have made it very-clear with their selective application of their terms of conditions that they are our political enemies.

https://www.kickstarter.com/team?ref=about_subnav

Look at the faces of the company. I recognise that most of these people aren't part of my tribe. Fuck them, and their little dogs too.

I had an huge argument last year with some musicians about me refusing to use Kickstarter, because I was potentially up to ten grand in theoretical pledges already. I'd rather do it on my own terms with my own money, accepting the sacrifice of it taking longer.

I have quietly-spoken to another well-known cult musician who has declined repeated calls to use Kickstarter since its inception, though I expect he could easily land a couple of million through it, given his appeal to the Progressive Clique. His answer: he's genuinely-disgusted by a large segment of his Millennial Fandom for their anti-free speech and censorship-happy ideas.

Bluntly, we'd both prefer to be able to live with ourselves.

Here's the thing: I am that stubborn. I was like this even as a kid, which is why teachers hated me because they couldn't break me. I know exactly who I am, and if these people gain more societal power, the blood won't be on my hands.

Likewise, if I have to get a bank account number and physically go-down to the bank to physically-deposit money rather than use PayPal, I'll do so.

There's that old saying: you can choose what is easy, or you can choose what is right. Every small act can be a political statement. I still haven't seen that last Mad Max movie.

I feel the clock is ticking on these companies either way due to the increasing-incompetence of Progressives to deliver on their promises within the time frame.

I think he's better of with Patreon. I must admit I'm surprised that IllimitableMen does so well on Patreon, but it also explains the time and detail put into his posts.
