Notice the theme here Icepasion - we keep hearing this mantra being repeated over and over and over again. Remember what Joseph Goebbels said: If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. Despite the fact that Eastern Germany was EXTREMELY effective at preventing undesired border crossings contemporary Germans for some reason have been convinced that it is IMPOSSIBLE to protect an even shorter border (the one facing Austria mostly). For a country that is supposed to be populated by a people with an average IQ of 112 I seriously doubt that anyone really believes that. But for some reason everyone accepts it as the TRUTH. Because the TRUTH these days is simply whatever the majority agrees upon. So if the MSM keeps repeating that it is impossible then obedient Germans simply accept it as a fact.

This type of mentality is one of the reasons why I extricated myself from German society. I saw these behavioral patterns early on in life and decided to make my luck abroad. It is a decision I have never once regretted and as you may imagine I feel hugely relieved these days that I have built a life outside of Germany.

Imagine what would have happened if boatloads of German refugees escaping Allied bombs showed up on the coast of England during World War II. That's the attitude Europe needs now.
