I share my experience from my work in a refugee camp now. I start to volunteer there to get first hand impressions what is going on.
We have a town of about 20.000 inhabitants and now about 800 Refugees. There is not a direct rise of crime. One incident was when 3 refugees hit a security guard because he told them to make their music quieter. Second is a tried burglary where the description is - two arabs. With the burglary Germany face some problems since a few years because of either drug addicts or criminal gangs from eastern europe. What I get from the tried burglary is that they want to get into an open window. Then they burn some park benches to lite fires. There was also a case of a Georgian guy that comes to Germany since 2004, apply as refugee, goes on a criminal tour and then move back to Georgia.
How do they set up the 800 refugees? There is one old construction market where they have 500 of them. Its just the big hall of the market and all of the 500 live there inside. The light never goes out, its a loud noise all the time and no real privacy. Then the camp where I volunteer. Its a school with about 110 people. The school is still running so they just have a hall. They just put them in the sports hall. All of them. Bring in some beds and like the other camp, just curtains separate them. But not in single places, either families or groups of men get one space. In my camp they only have the bed. Nothing more. So 500 and 110 in two camps. The rest of them is shared houses. One with about 90 people. Its just a big apartment block. Then the rest is somewhere else in their own apartments. Thats how it is all over Germany.
They get a warm meal at lunch and then they get the dinner and the breakfast for the next day. But have no place to store it so they keep it in their bed. All in all those camps called dezentral camps. This means they given the shelter, some little pocket money and wait to be transfers to a apartment or so. Nobody know when they will get a transfer because there is a general housing problem in Germany.
There are no officials from the government working with them. They get a German language class and thats all. But its their choice if they participate. The bigger camp is run by the ASB, similar like the Red Cross. My camp there are just the security, the food that arrives for lunch and now the language classes. The rest they should do alone. The volunteers help to bring them to the doctor or spend some time with them. There are some cooking classes and some women volunteer to play with the kids. I try to do sports with them but because of the bad weather I did not do much. One other guy do indoor sports with them.
The language classes are only for Syrians, Iraq, Iran and Eritrea. All other nationalities can not participate. But nobody checks and I consider it better when they do at least something.
Many of them don't speak German or english. I had some talk with a guy that speaks english. He and his friends seem to be nice and make ambitions to learn German. They are from Syria. We have a Syrian couple that live in Germany for about 10 years or so that helps to translate. They there are some people that are not from Syria but claim to be. Because Syrians have higher chance to be accepted as refugees. They know because of the different arabic dialect. It also match with the numbers that about 30 to 40 % of the Syrian refugees are not from Syria. They just drop all their documents and say: I'm Syrian.
Those people that I had more contact with seem to be nice and polite. They want to work, learn German and so on. I believe them. Then you have others that drop the language class, that don't clean, they misbehave. They don't make the impression they want to do anything. But there are no consequences. When they don't break rules nothing happen to them. When they break some rules they get less pocket money or when they turn criminal then there is the police. Still there is no lecture them or any consequences at the moment. So the wrong doers get kind of a free away pass. What I get, after the basic language courses they also should get courses about the cultural behaviour and so on in Germany. I mention it before, there are numbers out that about 10 % of them become criminals. By 1.1 Million of them in 2015 you have about 110000 criminals imported. About the criminals, police released a report and it also match with the offenders in Cologne. I just quote it:
http://www.spiegel.de/panorama/justiz/kr...71674.html
Those of them that commit crimes are from the Maghreb area, Syrians just do 0,5% but Maghreb about 40 % of crimes. The other 40 % of crimes is done by Bosnians and Montenegro. In an other Report they also mention Serbia, Georgia, Kosovo, Nigeria and other countries from south - eastern / eastern Europe
It match with my impression about those that don't behave.
Kind of strange that you can book a fly to Morocco or Tunis for holiday and then those guys apply here as refugees to commit crimes. The problem is, even when they really bring in harder punishment for them, if you are really from Syria and the war is still going on, they can not send you home. When you are from Morocco, well Morocco and other northern African countries don't take their scum back. Maybe Germany has to create some pressure over the development money we send there. Furthermore there is an other question, lets say you catch one on them and send him home immediately. He did not serve time in prison in Germany and mostly never will in his home country. So better put them in Jail in Germany or create there also a contract that they have to do jail time in their home countries. Because their jails are far worse then Germans.
So the biggest problem with this invasion is all those people that are not real refugees. The economical refugees and the ones that invade Germany for commit crimes. They also take away the money, time and space for the real refugees. When we also consider that more Africans will be one the move soon, they talk about Libya and Algiers that want to join the Morocco people. Hardcore criminals. And the scum of Africa, the Sahara blacks. It need some hard consequences and I'm not sure if German politicians and the public can stand the strict pictures of police beat down a criminal mob or close the border and send them home. Media will create shocking pictures like we already know. Pictures of families even when there are 80 % young men. But we need a iron fist with no mercy.
What we don't need is things like now where Neonazis run the street and go on a manhunt for every foreigner. I don't mind when scum get beat up and prefer more beat up of scum. Still I don't support to set fire on refugee camps or beat up random people that just look foreign.
