RE: Should discussion of MGTOW ideas be allowed on this forum?
I think the utility of the forum will decrease if topics and views are forbidden. I am not into reading or participating in echo-chambers.

RE: Should discussion of MGTOW ideas be allowed on this forum?
If you want to give an idea more power and credence then you should ban it. This has held true throughout human civilization and will continue to hold true.

With that said, the history of MGTOW goes back to a forum that was one of the first of its kind to vent about western women. The two owners/creators of the forum created it after moving to Japan to discover how much better the women were there, at that time, and to share this information with the western world men back home. MGTOW was created to say "do what is best for you, not what society tells you to do".

So a few asexual losers have tried to hijack it and claim it is about celibacy. And that is what is probably being asked about here. There is no reason to ban this kind of discussion on this forum. In fact this forum is like a step up for many of these guys. They are frustrated, they give up, but deep inside them they keep hearing "don't quit, there is another way". And they stumble upon places like RVF.

If we want to fight the feminist machine, we need to make sure all those against it are at least some what united. United we stand, divided we fall. If they want to quit and not get laid, more pussy for you. As long as they are on your side when it comes to taking down the obese purple haired feminists when it is needed.

If some poster goes into threads and tries to hijack it with nonstop talk about "all women are trash" or "celibacy is the only way", then they should be dealt with on an individual level.

Banning is the domain of SJWs, feminists, weak-willed academics, and the LBGTPDQNSHDTYD crowd. Oh, and Facebook and Twitter.

If you don't want to give an idea traction, ignore it. Or you can argue against it with a bunch of footnotes refuting it.

That said, I don't see MGTOW as ever having much interest for anyone here. But this very post, ironically, will probably pique people's interest in it.

I've always gone my own way.

Of course that entailed slaying vast quantities of trim while friends and family ask when I'm going to settle down.

RE: Should discussion of MGTOW ideas be allowed on this forum?
There is a fine line between choosing not to sleep around, and not being able to sleep around. The original founders of MGTOW (who have since scrubbed the term from their site) were of the former variety; I've put up with enough BS from women, I'm just going to cruise on my motorcycle, and *if* I allow another woman in my life it will be on my terms.

The current iteration appearing all over YouTube is primarily composed of rationalizing incels, who seem to be more interested in attacking the Manosphere and TradCons than in doing anything to better their own lives.

I don't think we should ban anybody for discussing it - particularly its foundations (which aren't a load of crap), but modern practitioners? I trust the moderators to spot the blowhards for whom they are.

Yes, and no. I don't know really. Yes, in that most of their observations and arguments are dead on legit. I am finding myself endlessly redpilled, day in day out, on how debased and loathsome modern western are and how rigged the game is against men. This is me on repeat.

Yet... No, in that I cannot agree with their ultimate conclusion. Despite how bad it is, despite the bullshit we have to put up with in this, I still think that, on the balance, it is worth it to go out there and pursue women to extract whatever sex and companionship we can out of them. There are animal species out there where the males are willing to DIE just to get a whiff of dat gushy wet wet. Let their example inspire you if need be.

And forget what I think even - this is a pick up forum run by a writer operating a pick up business. MGTOW, which is MWTOW - men wanking their own way OR men whoring their own way - is ultimately anti-pick up, anti-game. Understandably there will and should be limits to the discourse.

MGTOW ideas aren't banned here, but game denialism is, which seems to go hand in hand with MGTOW.

For those (like myself) who don't like MGTOWs or "mig-tows", here's an actual MiG being towed:

That pic is honestly 1000% more interesting than the usual fat neckbeard or long haired chubby mouthbreather talking on the internets about the glories of MGTOW.

Abandonment of life's bullshit is logical, but you'll always have to deal with some bullshit. Running from it won't make it entirely go away. In other words, you can "go your own way" but to where? The confines of your own mind would be the best answer to that. I could live the rest of my life thinking (happily) and restricting my "doing" to exclude predatory females and the like.

I'll wind up a stronger man navigating the "jungle" of society intermittently intermingling, and extract much more fulfillment, than nixing battle with the monster of a society we have to battle. There's 7.5 Bill people on this planet, and a bunch of them are shady women you can't escape unless you go completely survivalist mode in the wilderness.

The wisdom of red-pill, neomasculinity, with good game background simply seems more pragmatic, and overall, valuable in the long run, leaving you better prepared for any situation life throws at you, versus strict MGTOW adherence. I don't denounce MGTOWs, in fact, certain spans of my life likely resembled the very constructs of MGTOW. Joining any group of thought and taking that path, is where too many fuck up royal.

Sometimes I listen to Sandman who seems to be the most articulate of MGTOWS. Most of "what he has to say" would not be out of place on this forum.

However there have been a few red flags: using gay men's rejection of women as an example, sex bots, rejecting natural pro-creation, ghosting and an obsession with feminism.

It's anti-feminism in the true sense in that elements of MGTOW are the exact but opposite force. Nietzsche said that if you obsess with chasing monsters you inevitably come that monster.

I would not recommend MGTOW for any man under 30 when he has the flexibility and vigour to improve his lifestyle and game but some of these men will see women from behind the curtain. A cost-risk-benefit analysis of women acquired from Anglophone dating markets will come back negative for many men. I see nothing wrong with going MGTOW from Anglo markets to travel instead.

A person truly going his own way. Pursuing Freedom and Adventure. Unlike some others who have nothing else to say except women they supposedly went away from.

Last year I subbed to Sandman, amongst others. It began to be too much, and I found myself just getting more irritated by being stuck in the same loop of feminism, hatred, obsession, etc. I'm glad I realized what it was doing.

This forum is better because occasionally my attitude becomes too negative, it comes out, and I see it in my posts here. Other people call me out. Watching Sandman et al, while stewing, is just a negative circle jerk.

I also spent too much time hanging around a pissed off male virgin friend that I think watch some of the mgtow guys. I wanted to help him, but I was not successful.

Good male relationships, with men that don't get butthurt from criticism, is damn near essential. Watching youtube channels of other pissed off men is counterproductive and will get you nowhere. In fact, you'll move backward, back into a negative hole.
