Enjoying the site, thanks for all the info guys.

I wanted to say after going to Colombia for a month and although meeting LINUX briefly I can confidently say I can see the forest through the trees and that stories and things like this are definitely possible with the right game.

I saw that you wanted to buy a house in Cali and live there to avoid the US.
But since you are American, you can't stay in Colombia for more than 6 months.
I don't think that you want to get married to get the nationality(you might lose a lot).
What's your plans LINUX?
Personally I'd pay 50K+ to invest in a colombian company and get the nationality. Then buy the house as a company asset, but that might blow up.

There are a number of visas available (Negocios, Rentista) that will allow you to stay all year in Colombia without residency.

It also has to do with being white and a foreigner. I'm 5 11, 195 lbs. and often have gone to Colombia with a muscular physique. But, looking like a local (i.e.being latino), you will get not be able to create the impression in a Colombian girl's mind, as a white guy with the same type of physique. My advantage is my Spanish fluency, but it is often not enough to create instant attraction and vagina tingles, ala Linux.
I'm not sure how tall and muscular Linux is, but also if he is 6 ft. 2 and has the physique of a linebacker, that is something most girls, specially in Colombia, cannot resist....because it is so rare in local colombian dudes.

For the white advantage, I thought about it, yes it is nice to look foreigner for the girls but if it increases your chances to get robbed/murdered by 80% that's not worth it ...

For LINUX since you get a lot of lays from online and your spanish sucks, I guess your 'routine' was 2 liners to get them out.

You guys are way too paranoid and over analyzing things too much. I'm 5'4 and weigh 160 lbs, I have a bit of muscle on me but depending on my drinking and eating I can look a bit out of shape, I'm working on that now and hope to be around 150 lbs when I go back there next time in January. Like all short guys, we just have to accept the fact that we're not going to turn heads in a night club or constantly have girls checking us out on the street, just get over it and get-in-where-you-fit-in. Fortunately, Colombia isn't a place where short height is a major barrier to dating so long as you have realistic expectations. I'm pretty much over the days of chasing notches, maybe its my age but I find it lame and tiring chasing women online, getting flaked on, same first dates over and over. I have a few girls down there in different cities who I see regularly, just normal girls in the 6/7 range, not super hot but they're pleasant to be around, thin and don't expect too much.

You don't need super tight game to get girls in Colombia, just don't be a weirdo, dress well, learn some Spanish, some basic salsa and have a bit of money and be you'll fine. If you're socially awkward and don't do well with women back home, Colombia could be tough, it's entirely possible to go there for two weeks and not get laid, especially if you're chasing girls on Tinder in Medellin.

Having just returned from Barranquilla for eight days I'll chime in on the looks factor.

I'm 5'8", 175lbs, half Asian half white, but was constantly mistaken for being Colombian (I have the darker, "yellow" Asian skin that just looks tan and dark hair). Green-hazel eyes helped a lot but it's hard to tell unless you're up close and personal. I also used the "I'm from Los Angeles" card a lot but frankly, anyone could do that if they just had a picture of them at the beach and used Google Maps to show where your "house" is.

And I hardly speak Spanish. I managed to order food but there's no way I could have a full conversation with someone. I got two bangs (one became a little mini-gf for a week: http://thisistrouble.com/2015/12/11/colo...irlfriend/) and had two other girls on my bed which just needed more time to seal the deal, but oh well.

So yes, while being 6'4", white, and ripped certainly helps, just like almost everywhere - game trumps all. Scotian nailed it. Have your shit together (fitness/money/style), run strong game, and most of all - churn a ton of leads because the flaking epidemic is unlike anything I've ever seen, anywhere.

Final note: a lot of Colombian guys are short. I felt tall in a lot of places. Height shouldn't be an issue as long as you have the above handled.

That's not me at all, I like classical music, opera, poetry, and occasionally do tons of stuff you guys would consider beta. I'm also a very passive and not a loud and dominating type.

And my game is no better than any of the other guys that have been in Colombia. The difference is that I just posted a lot of pictures up.

Roosh was in Colombia back in 2009, I think that was when he was at the beginning of his PUA career, as far as I know, he hasn't been back since and obviously prefers places in Eastern Europe. Everyone is different and some people just prefer different countries and cultures over others, I honestly didn't do very well in Thailand which is supposed to be one of the easiest places in the world to get laid because I just didn't jive with the culture. Roosh seems to be more of a reserved, intellectual type so Eastern Europe fits him well, whereas I'm a loud, blue collar bone head with a drinking problem and I do better with Latinas.
