I'm sure you have played a bunch of scenarios in your head about how this date will go down. I think looking her up on facebook has given you some negative expectations.

First thing is first, schedule the date. Second, proceed as if you don't know a thing about her past unless previously discussed. Third, bang away and maybe put her in your rotation if she is any good in the sack.

Pretty funny story about the coffee date I had with a girl from OKC a few weeks ago.

24 year old white girl, so more than ten years younger than I am. Looked cute enough from her pictures; she had one of her in a bikini on a beach somewhere...ten years younger and a solid "6" and I'm happy enough!

She sent me an opener on the site and I chatted with her a little bit via text before setting the coffee date in the evening. She turns up at the spot and she looks very little like her pics - she's at least 25 to 30 pounds heavier and since she's about 5'2" it's not looking great at all.

Damn it. I've been SIF-ed. What appeared from her profile to be a fairly attractive "6" to "6.5" turns out to be "4" if that, that I would have extreme difficulty getting it up for. I don't know when her pics were taken, but it definitely wasn't on any beach this past summer. No way she packed on that amount of weight in 3 months. They must have been minimum a year old or more.

Okay, so, perhaps she at least has a pleasant and kind personality. Not a bit of it. This chick had the most miserable cunt attitude I have ever encountered on any of my online dates. The phone was whipped out and in her hand and she was texting away within 30 seconds of saying hello. We sat down and she tried to put the phone down on the table and engage with me like a normal person, but she was having extreme difficulty - she kept glancing at her phone and her eyes were darting back and forth and out the window.

Meanwhile it looks like she's actually shaking - her leg is bouncing up and down and she's almost rocking back and forth in her chair like an autistic person. She tried valiantly to make some small talk, but it's not happening...it just comes out as like a stream of sort of bitchy remarks.

Finally, after she glances outside for the third or fourth time, I lean back in my chair, take a sip of my java and say "Well, you're free to go any time you like." She grabbed her phone and whipped out the door in no time flat. I've never seen anyone more relieved.

Total date elapsed time - approximately 8 minutes. A bizarre experience that left me thinking "This is my life?" and wondering WTF planet I am on.

^That's terrible XP. The funny thing is...what in two fucks could be so important that she's so anxious to check her phone? My guess...is that it would be other suitors that she'd hope would order her over directly. Even the bottom chicks have an abundance of guys to pull from. The funny thing about online dating is that we see a lot of dates that wouldn't have happened through cold approach.

I've recently been texting a lead on skype on occasion. She's local but one of the shy types and noted that she usually has guys wait a few weeks before going out. Right now I'm about 75% cold approach 25% online. So far I've managed to have my current lead qualify herself a bit. She seems inexperienced as far as drinking and partying goes and seems to be more of a homebody. Having her come directly to me won't work because of logistics. Ideal is a coffee/park/??? date. If she's comfortable and wants to stick around after the park, I'll look for something to cap the night. Maybe running alcohol free dates will prove to be a bit difficult though.

Forget the park, get her out to a bar and suggest "appetizers and maybe drinks." This will give her the impression that the date comes first and that drinks could happen if she feels comfortable.

Don't put pressure on the alcohol but suggest a drink you had maybe one or two times that she will have to try. My drink choice for this is a Moscow Mule; delicious and most women have never had one.

The rapport building will be key before you take her out. Just like bar game, bounce her around to different venues to build a connection if you don't want alcohol involved.

Thanks Rem, that'll be the initial proposal. Funny thing she mentioned that her first time getting drunk was only a few months back. Definitely a solid guideline I'll start to follow. Just to offer a different perspective, all of my lays over the summer came from coffee dates/walk in the park/check out the art museum situations. But that might have just been because of the type of woman I was going after.

The few night/bar dates I did usually ended up with a sloppy drunk girl, an enormous amount of last minute resistance, and me going home to whack off.

Getting a SIF is part of the game but there was definitely some warning signs there.

If a white mid 20's American girl with bikini pics is opening me on an online dating website, my guard is way up (I suppose if you have 6-pack photos up, it might make more sense). Sounds like you didn't waste a lot of time thankfully. But I'd would at a minimum get a current pic via text before meeting given the aforementioned circumstances unless the girl was super local. And even then, I hate wasting time.

Maybe its worth taking a break from OKC and focusing on non-online avenues for a bit. Give your local OKC pool time to refresh with new talent.

Where in the US are you? I got a ton of lays from online game just because I could build rapport. The dates were always easy because that rapport translated over to the dates. I think I was successful because I maintained that connection throughout the date. Plus, bouncing her around to different venues where I pay little money for a bar tab is great.

Having a bar on lock is your gateway. I had a bar where I took most of my girls for a drink or two and it always ended up on a positive note. The bartender I had on lock was an excellent wingman because he always had my back when talking to my dates while I was taking a leak or if I wanted another beer.

Yeah that's good advice. In this case I didn't bother because she was super local - she lived only about ten minutes from me. But in general, yes.

The cuntish attitude was the really surprising thing...here I am the one getting conned, and she's acting like the most entitled spoiled brat in the world. Maybe she just saw the look of disappointment on my face. Or as someone else mentioned, maybe she just doesn't care as she has a bunch of other thirsty guys on lock ready to take one for the team.

I haven't been putting as much effort into OKC lately as response rates have been way down, even after I put up better pictures and polished up my profile. That kind of thing happens all the time. Once you get the number, you really need to schedule a date as quick as possible. If she gave you her number, she probably gave it to 5 other guys that day.

Women have options and the power when scheduling first dates. Your job is to influence her enough to the point where her curiosity gets the better of her or you are the highest value person in her phone.

Their pipelines are just too full to expect them to make a date on the spur of the moment - as Mess O. noted that he had to chip away at a woman for days who ended up flaking on him anyway.

I managed to extract a number from an attractive "7" originally from Europe the other night, and hopefully have my first OKC meet in a month set up for this weekend (if she doesn't flake), but it took me a good 50 messages to get a number out of her.

I've gotten replies to my openers from several other women this week, and I usually only let the chat go about 10 back-and-forths before pitching the meet. All ejected from the conversation.

Something else I'm not sure I've seen noted here yet is how - and I'll speak solely from my own experience so far - for an interaction to get anywhere online, a live chat has to be struck up during that very session you passed along your opener, as opposed to trying to continue it at a later time. Say, I launch a slew of messages over an hour, get no responses, log off, and log back on a day or two later to see that a few have indeed been hit back. I've found that virtually 100% of the time, the interaction is non-revivable, as I've long since been washed away in the crowd.

To elaborate on XPQ22's ponderings, I feel that the primary blockade is the staggering amount of traffic women get on there. It's simply become far too imbalanced. So, the best play is to get the fucking deal off of the site as quick as ya can. As The Wire mentioned, it's a long road.

I've covered this before:

1. Dating market in general is improving for women (economy doing better). This effects online as well. Less replys, more flaking.

2. OKC is dying as a online platform. Means less new blood. I unscientifically tracked new users/new faces over a period of years. Major drop in the beginning of 2015 and a slow decline prior in 2014. New blood and former OKC users jumped to other platforms like Tinder.

3. Vast majority of women who remain on OKC are veteran users of it. They have seen it all. Some will have had bad experiences with giving their number out too early. Some are just in it for the attention. Some in real life are very undesirable (SIF, shit personality, etc). Almost all will be difficult to deal with in some way and generally not worth your time.

3b. I had a semi-surreal moment when I was looking through the Online Hamster thread this past year and someone on the forum (no one I know) posted a picture of a chat log of a chick I was talking to around the same time (I shot her down because she was a young single mom and that's a no-go for me usually; although she was bangable and I was initially thinking of giving it a go). I lived in a area with A LOT of OKC users and a lot of people in general and it was sort of a mind fuck but made me realize I REALLY need to find other venues for meeting women; particularly offline.

I guess the point is, the available talent pool even in a very populated area is pretty thin; thin enough that a chat log from another RVF member of a chick I was talking to around the same time on OKC popped on the forum. As I alluded to, I don't live in a small town either and that got me thinking about the virtual unlimited competition that I'm likely dealing with to snag some likely cunt SIF 3 but appears like an online 6. I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprise if I was eskimo bros with someone on the forum.

4. Your chief objective is to be as time efficient as possible. Women get no more than 3-4 message exchanges before I number close. Any stonewalling and they can fuck off. If you have a half decent profile, the slut knows if she is giving you a number or not after a few messages if not sooner.

Anyhow, just keep in mind that OKC is a sinking ship with boxes of shit on it with maybe the odd piece of gold hidden in the hull somewhere. It really is that awful in my opinion.
