I’m glad Google yielded results. It’s nice to find people who don’t buy into that garbage. I knew her advice was terrible. It was worse than terrible. It was terrible advice for a question I didn’t ask. She heavily edited my letter. The honest intent when writing her was to please provide advice on how to be content alone. Rather than address my original question, she altered the content in such a way as to ask an entirely different question, and answered it poorly. “Love yourself first, and improve yourself, and you will find love.” Complete boilerplate bullshit.

I’ve consulted sources regarding celibacy, but it’s typically driven by some sort of pay off. “How to stay celibate until you are married” or “becoming celibate to become a priest.” I am unable to find sources on how to truly step away and be content as a single person with no love in her life, ever again – and to not feel horribly alone.

Anyway, thank you for your perspective, and thanks to the other folks here who wrote about it. I guess I’ll include a little here about me, in case you’re curious.

First off, no theory is perfect. Virginity lost at 19. “N” count is low due to years spent in college focusing on studies. (I completed an MA.) – I was also in a relationship for ten years, so that kept me off the market as well. Oh, and I live in Mississippi.

I consider myself a “5” at best. It’s fair to say I was a 7 when I was younger. I am told that I underestimate my beauty. I’m certain people are just being polite.

Now thanks to “feminism” all these dipshit excuses for women spread their legs on a first date, and they don’t EVEN need to be white girl drunk to do it. They’re ALL doing it – The Kim Kardashian wanna’ be’s who spam the Internet with bug-eye, duck-lip selfies, on down to the dumpy gamer girls with piercings and tats and bad dye jobs who whine about how society judges them for their size. You guys have shared plenty of stellar examples here. I guess there is one common denominator – DENIAL fueled by stupidity. But if you’re looking for a pump and dump, a brain is optional. All of that is to say, why SHOULD a guy commit? Why SHOULD a guy waste his time on a girl like me who wants to bond intellectually and emotionally? That’s boring and you open yourself up to being hurt. Just hit OKCupid or Tinder or whatever and find some dimwitted girl who will be your whore for buying her dinner. It’s a win/win for her, because after you dump her, she can go cry on the Internet about it and drink in the delicious attention all of her “friends” give her.

Dating is dead. It’s all “hang out and hook up” or “Netflix and chill.” I’ve tried dating men in their fifties, and you would think they would be a bit more old fashioned like I am, but nope – The demise of traditional dating and the heavy stigma attached to relationship status has worked its way up to the older men as well. I’m sure I am overlooking some potential candidates, but I choose to accept that I simply have poor judgment.

So, there you have it! I’m a tried and true beta who is fed up and done, because everything has become a game. No hard feelings and no real bitterness here. I just want to be content alone, if it’s even possible. Hopefully I’ll find out it is.

Had a date last night with a girl from OKCupid. She's half Greek/half Japanese. Very exotic looking but chubby. I will call her a 5 or maybe a 6 because of the exotic looks, her age (23yo), and attire.

She came back to my place after the bar and things were getting hot and heavy. She told me:

I've explained (or "mansplained" if you will) this to women many times, but they just give me a confused look and are unable to understand what I'm saying.

It then occurred to me, that they can't understand because they often lie about what they want and/or are completely unrealistic about what they are looking for.

For example, I've said to women in my social circle the following:

I know in feminist logic, white women with job = a 9. White women with job that is not entry level = a 10. But that simply isn't the case, most men will take cute, feminine, fit admin girl over dumpy, aggressive (I mean, "strong") 35+ cubicle jockey any day.

Furthermore, men are generally pretty honest about this, in one way or another. Women on the other hand, as I've said to my social circle:

You say you want a good guy, but really you'd fuck and marry an ATM machine if it were humanly and legally possible

In terms of unrealistic, the only women I've encountered who will admit they want a tall/hot/rich guy are the ones who have absolutely no chance in obtaining a desirable male. These are the 35+ white women who, while not fat, can't compete with a younger, more pleasant and more attractive woman.

I guess my overall point is that men are taught to play with the cards they are dealt with. Improve yourself, become the man the women you are interested in want.

Women, through feminism, are taught that whatever they want is what men should want, or it's misogyny. Furthermore, they take "just be yourself" literally. But if being yourself is overweight, pushy and past your prime, you're not going to land that husband you want. Adapt or die out.
