You do look like a typical arrogant American (don't take it personally). When people say you should learn some foreign language, they don't mean study it like you want to be a lawyer in that country. Learning "Hi, Bye, please, thank you, join me, open your mouth…" among other phrases will improve your game 1000 fold.
I was in Eastern Europe many years ago and I learned some basics; how to order food, "I'm single", "I live by myself in X address", how to order a taxi... Friends (foreigners) I made there were impressed for how I picked the waitresses who barely spoke english. During a simple chit-chat one told me in front of my friend "I don't have boyfriend" in broken english. It was funny.
Just learn some basics. If you go to a very touristic place, you might find girls who speak native english or have locals speak english as the second official language. Most people in Scandinavia, Netherlands, Germany, etc speak english. I don't think that applies for Asia.

What's the type of girl you're interested? Black, White, Latina, Asian? I bet you'll see plenty of western white girls in Thailand but they're a minority.

Do you have strong game? It was mentioned asian girls love western men (your case). If you're into them, your life could be much more easier and pleasurable if you choose Asian countries.

numbeo and nomadlist are good sources so you can rule out some places. For $1500/month don't expect to live in Scandinavia or Japan/Korea and most of the Western countries. Use some filters and start studying those places to see which one suit your needs. If you prefer tropical climate, Belarus won't be a good option. If you wan't decent infrastructure (like fast internet), Bolivia won't suit your needs. If your budget is $1500/month, choose a country you can live with a $1000/month so you can have plenty of extra for entertainment purposes.

Numbeo/nomadlist can give you some perspective. It's easier to get response from "Are X and Y cities safe?" than "which cities in the whole world are safe?". Be more specific.

Other things you should take into account:
1st-world countries; Goods are cheap, services are not. 3rd-world countries it's the contrary. Choosing a 3rd-world country geographically close to a 1st-world one can give you both advantages. If you live in Prague, you can eat in restaurants (services) often. You can travel to Paris (for a $100 ticket) and buy clothes (goods) there.

As for your insight on language, thank you for clarifying. I can see how what I said could be interpreted as that.

Let me clarify: I don't mean that I'm against learning ANY part of a new language. Phrases such as "Where is the bathroom?" or "Come with me." or "I am hungry.", obviously, these are all VERY useful things to know how to say.

I meant I have no interest in becoming conversational/fluent in another language. I have no issues learning very basic sentences and "yes, no" etc etc.

I like all types of women except African women. I don't know why. I've slept with 2 in my lifetime, and I just not attracted to them. Asian, latina, white, etc I like all of them. If I had to name an ideal, I'd probably say Russian/Ukrainian. I LOVE their accents, but the climate in both countries is VERY cold, so I'd prefer someplace warmer.

You mentioned a no on Brazil because it's heavily taxed....do you mean imported goods bought online, or that all goods in Brazil are expensive due to a high tax rate?

Yes, Brazil goods are heavily taxed, both retail and online. Some things are getting cheaper since USD appreciating and BRL decreasing against ALL currencies. Inflation is around 10%/aa. Argentina economy is a mess too. They just changed president and they don't know what the future awaits. All their dollar reserves are gone.

iPhone 6S 128GB (all prices in US dollars):
US = $850
Brazil (normal store with official receipt) = $1440
Brazil (black market) = $1240
Argentina (black market) = $1300 (source: the eBay of LA; mercadolibre.com.ar)
Colombia= $999

Even if VAT were 500% in Colombia, many people will smuggle goods from US or even Panama and the price won't be that much different. Don't think I need to get into details here.
If you live in Prague, you can travel to nearby countries to get goods (like an iPhone) or even cheaper services (like a dentist in Serbia).

I had a very good experience in both Colombia and Argentina. I guess Roosh got problems in Argentina due to his looks (skinny, pale and long hair. Looked like a poor local). In Argentina they love foreigners. I've seen locals pretend to be from UK and some cubans pretending to be brazilians. I never got laid as often (with nice talent) as I did in Argentina.

All places are cheap and very similar in prices. In Buenos Aires you need to know how to exchange money in black market, otherwise you'll pay the official exchange rate which sucks. Same happens in Venezuela.

From those options, I would choose Prague since geographically speaking, it's a better place (closer to other nice countries). You can travel more often for any reason. OP, there is, unfortunately, only one or two realistic options for you if you don't want to learn a foreign language, and want to move to a sunny poosy-paradise with a cheap cost-of-life: Philippines - outside of Manila. And maybe Bangkok (even though I'd say few girls speak good English there, but, granted, I'm no BKK specialist, and actually I would like to hear what BKK specialists on the forum have to say about Bangkok's women fluency in English). Oh, maybe Saigon, too??

Anyway, given that you have never traveled abroad, neither Ghana nor Philippines are a good choice, I'd say. Only Bangkok, probably, remains as a possible option for you: hot weather, quite cheap, reasonably safe, good internet, with many English-speaking people...

Honestly, I've been contemplating moving abroad for about 18 months (that's why I registered, to search the travel thread). It's no secret that the USA has been declining economically, spiritually, morally, and ethically for many years, but with Hilary Clinton still being considered for nomination, despite her criminal history, I know that if she's elected, the fall WILL occur during her presidency, and I do NOT want be here when it happens. So basically, if she's elected, I'm leaving one way or another.

You can disagree about the decline and the inevitability of it, but either way, for me, it's forcing my hand if it happens.

Another tip for you, OP.

I've been traveling and playing online poker professionally for 3 years. Whenever I'm getting set up with my apartment, I make sure the host has an ethernet cable to plug directly into my laptop. The connection is always solid, and it's much more reliable than wireless. This is the case in pretty much any country.

So, if you have been working hard all of your adult life (congratulations on that, man), why are you seemingly afraid at the thought of learning some easy language, like Spanish that everybody learns in 3 months, or 4?

I sure wish I was "everybody". I've been trying to learn Spanish for 6 months, and it's feels like it's only been the past couple of weeks where I'm even starting to approach some kind of conversational Spanish.

No you can't.

Mercosul is useful only for traveling. If you have ID from one of those countries, you can travel without a passport. It's like EU.

If you buy certain product from certain country (iPhone in Chile) and bring it to Brazil, during customs if you're brazilian, you can end up paying 50% tax or another 50% (100% total) if you don't declare it.

One suggestion that no one has mentioned yet is New Zealand or Australia. Although it doesn't meet some of your requirements I think it might be a good option given your situation.

Because you have never been abroad, living in one of these locations would be a really good introduction to traveling without much culture shock. Although they are in many ways similar to the US in terms of women, culture, etc, I still guarantee that you can have a great adventure living in either country for a year or so.

Some of your requirements that are met include fast internet, good shopping, and easy to get visa. Both countries offer a working holiday visa which is extremely simple for Americans... think fill out a quick form and wait a few days. This would give you a year visa in either country.

Also, you wouldn't have to learn a new language. Still not sure why you are against that though. Learning a new language is fun, rewarding, and can open up a lot of doors that would otherwise be closed to foreigners, but that's a discussion for another day.

Girls in NZ and AU are going to be comparable to the US and are easy to get like in most Western cultures, but there is also the possibility to find talent from other countries.

For example, I lived in Queenstown, NZ for a while... somewhat of a an outdoors backpacker party haven. Lots of girls from other countries rolling through or there on working holiday visa as well. During my time there I dated both an Argentinian girl and a Brazilian.

If your looking for a warmer climate I would probably suggest somewhere in Australia, lots of options. If your into outdoors activities it would be New Zealand hands down.

Either country it would be fairly easy to live on $1500 US outside of major cities as long as you aren't spending a fortune on booze or anything like that. Also, you could always grab a part time job there to supplement your income, plus help you meet some people. When I worked in NZ minimum wage was something like $17nzd, so not too bad.

Something to consider...Maybe spend a year there and then catch a cheap flight over to Thailand after to backpack around a little and see what you think about Asia. Best advice I can give is to just pull the trigger and then reevaluate later.

If he moves to Oz he's going to be spending almost all of that $1500 a month just to rent anywhere half decent in Sydney/Melbourne, nevermind any living costs. Or the $9 beers. And there's not a whole lot of point moving there to live in some bogan town in the middle of nowhere.

Moving to a different country without ever having even gone on holiday outside the U.S. is a recipe for disaster, you have no idea what type of culture you'll like. Your best bet is to go on a few scouting trips to one option from each of the main flavours of cheap/good living: Colombia in South America, Ukraine in Eastern Europe, Thailand in S-E Asia. Or similar countries in each region. Spend 10 days in each of those, then you'll be able to make an educated guess at which region appeals to you personally the most. Then you see about moving there.

Languages are very easy to get functionally fluent in if you're immersed in a culture dating local women & hanging out with local guys, that shouldn't be a worry. The only people who move to a foreign country and fail to learn the language are the very stupid (ditsy girls), the very arrogant (certain Americans/Brits), or the very socially retarded (ESL teachers).

EE (warmer months) = 2nd tier Poland or Belgrade would best fit your requirements. EE has slender women, the hottest in the world in my opinion. Poland and Serbia have higher English speaking rates than Russia/Ukraine etc. But for winter time EE is cold af... so why not take a trip to Asia during this time.

SE Asia = Saigon or maybe Davao fit your requirements... Many parts of SE Asia, especially Thailand, you will have to rule out due to the English speaking requirement. You can still game broads there, but you will quickly bore of it, Thais speak shithouse english, even the ones who work in the tourism sector. Saigon is a cool city, it's always buzzing, there's a real optimism in the air and lots of younger generation have a thirst for speaking English. Mind you, there's a lot of smog in the air, well it's a big Asian city. Viets are not as friendly as buddhist e.g. Khmer. Phils doesn't have strong net connection, plus it has shitty food and not so spiritually-peaceful of a culture as the buddhists, but then again gets extra points because of English.

Honourable mention / wild card = Substitute Buenos Aires or 2nd tier Argentina for SE Asia. Bs As is one of my favourite cities in the world, women are more European looking. Use the black market to exchange your dollars and a high standard of living will be church change. Argentina seems to be much safer than some other parts of Latin America. But here you'll have to learn basic español.. but yeh it's one of the easier languages to learn.

Just pick some places and take a trip. You cannot analyze this to death. Only a fool would make big plans about a long term/permanent move without familiarizing yourself with areas. If you have been lurking for 18 months, surely you have read enough. You didn't sound like a troll, just someone who has certain beliefs and a little lack of open mindedness which I think is important when traveling abroad.

A good way to have developed a rep would have been to participate in the forum during the past 18 months. Anyway, best of luck.

I really wish you the best, I gain nothing by wishing you ill and not finding your ideal location. But seriously, just get on the plane if you have time, flexibility and money. For example, some say Phils is great but the air can be bad in certain places, how do you know how bad it can get (and if you can handle it) unless you go?

OP, do you want to get a job or study something abroad?

Being 25 and having 1500,- a month in location independent income, you could be doing a course or degree in some university in Southeast Asia or Latin America.

Also you could be working as an English teacher in pretty much all of the countries mentioned (except the philippines). One thing to keep in mind is the dropping value of being an expat English teacher in some countries. On my last trip in Thailand, one chick was negging a colleague for having a relationship with an English teacher (they all make at least 2 times what the English teachers make).

If you aren't interested in studying or working abroad, I'd advise you to go on a trip to couple of countries and see what they are like, so you can see for yourself what you like and don't like. It shouldn't be too hard to travel a bit and keep your online income running.

Not automatically disqualified for english fluency because there's plenty of smart girls out there who learned how through work or on their own.

..but if a girl has a history of dating foreigners or expats in general then yes that's a definite disqualification in my book.

Good for fun but no way in hell i'd ever take her seriously as a potential LTR.

I wouldn't say that. Just things to be aware of. One thing I would consider is how eager she is to immigrate to the US (in my case). If a girl grew up in a good family, she would be close with her parents, she probably wouldn't want to leave them. In my mind, if I love my wife, after a few years in her country, popped out a few kids and I wanted to go home, I would make arrangements to try and bring her family. Or at least her parents. That last part about the bringing the family, I have not figured out all the details. I do imagine I would need to make promises about financially supporting them.

The good thing if she is a total Western groupie and speaks great English, she is probably sluttier, will put out more easily. Except for this one girl I know...

The above 3 posters, thanks for clarifying. At first it just sounded like a suggestion was made that if a girl was fluent in English, she would be increasingly exposed to Western toxicity and thus lowering her value for LTR/wife/mother material. To me, it's a little too big of a leap to make... obviously as you guys clarified, there are tons of other factors that play into this (like track record of dating other expats, too eager to move to the US, etc).

Sorry for derailing the thread. Back on topic... $1500 a month for a comfortable lifestyle. Where?

Provinces in the Philippines I'm sure... but not so sure about internet speed needed for running an online business.
