It's not a shit test.

Neither is it a dumping.

It's more like an ultimatum. She doesn't want to be a booty call. She would be open to a relationship.

It's kind of like when a girl isn't putting out after numerous dates. So the guy reaches his limit and cuts her off. But he wishes he didn't have to.

From the female point of view - she opened up and started having sex, but she's not getting much good vibes and bonding in return. So she reluctantly moves to cut the guy off, even though she wishes it were different.

It's the kind of move where she feels she lost control, so she takes some kind of action to feel like she gained it back.

Another way chicks do this is to block you after you hit and quit and you've gone silent. Deep down they know you just weren't paying attention to them after you banged. So they hit "block" on you to convince themselves that they are still in control of the direction things are moving. The alternative is that she passively waits for the day you decide to text her again. But this makes her feel impotent and uncomfortable, hence the block.

I'm not a big fan of the term shit test, I think it's usefulness stops at being a catch-all for anything a woman says that isn't helpful to you banging her...which is kind of the point.

It sounds a little desperate more than manipulative. Then again, I don't think it's wise to underestimate the ability of a woman to be deceitful in order to make herself feel like she's got control.

I don't know the exact situation but if I got that text I'd think "Oh, she doesn't want to be totally slutty". Isn't that kind of admirable? I'd kinda think that's the behavior we should be rewarding...then I'd remember she's really not worth the brain power and next the bitch.

(she did mention having been run through by a shit load of alpha 'jerks' and her plea for a relationship is probably a test to see if you are willing to take her off the carousel)

I agree with this. Lex S misinterpreted the message. It wasn't "Let's just be friends". She felt like a booty call but wanted to be something more.

Lex S has to decide if he wants her as more than a booty call. If no - forget about her. If yes - might be able to save it if too much time hasn't gone by.

Then you have her trapped. You can follow up with guilt like "what? you're telling me you don't help your friends find love?"

As other posters have said, at this point you are done. At best you may be able to get a drunk text ONS. Might as well play a game with her that says "I see through your bullshit"
