Actually I think all of the people in first season got an upgrade.
The bold guy with Russian: contrary to what everyone thought, they actually seem to get on pretty well. She is not super hot, but good looking for him. He seems kinda like a chilled out guy, pretty relaxed about everything, has a pretty stable government job,l. She is more of a jealous girl but not crazy maniac either, I do understand why she wants to be in the us, and she seems the one making most decisions in the family. if on the other hand both him and her were alpha, the relationship probably wouldn't last more than 1-2 weeks . An alpha guy would probably fuck a girl like that but it would be difficult to last as both would be just too opinionated. The ying and the yang needs to balance, so to speak.

The guy who got the Filipina definitely did get an upgrade, but they are more likely to be the first couple to break up, as the cultural gap seems just too big.

The Mormon guy with the Brazilian? Ya she's cute, and coming from a middle of nowhere city in Brazil, she is traditional. I don't see her breaking up with the Mormon guy who definitely got an upgrade compared for the girls he would be getting in the states being 29year old Mormon.

Actually I think in the long run, the Colombian girl and the oil guy might not work out well. It seems like they are really "loving and what not, but I see that he is slightly too young for her, who is not really into family matters. The way she is portrayed in the show is that she is a princess, and not a family woman, and the guy from Oklahoma probably wants a family type and with his job being in the oil rigs he probably wants some kind of stability of family and kids especially in a city like that. Although I don't think the leaks would show now, but probably in 5-10 years time.

Exactly what I thought. Some of the guys' opinions and actions seem like they just came out of the forum. (Maybe the producers know about the forum and decided to make a show out of it? Very entertaining back stories.
However they don't seem to be showing many failures of such things, and everybody is pretty happily married etc. especially in season 1 and 2. Are the girls just too stupid?
One theory is that they could be waiting for the time to pass after marriage so that they get the greencard, as I believe you need to prove you are not just in it for the green card to the immigration and that requires time and staying in the relationship. If they do divorce straight after, they might be deported straight away. I know a friend who actually separated from her husband but officially still together so she can get the papers.

However, I definitely think Yamir is not someone coming from the forum. Living in a middle of nowhere small town in Illinois with that girl??? and giving up your successful music career in Central America? Someone need to introduce him to our forum...ridiculous.
That Chelsea girl is clearly a hippy and got no direction in life. She probably doesn't want to loose him in a city like Chicago where he would be exposed to more girls if he gets big.
The guys coming from the forum would probably be pe teacher and the auction guy. Both married girls who are pretty interesting and brought them to us. Although I do think the Brazilian girl would probably be too demanding for the auction guy and problems may start to arise in a few years.

This is going to sound like a troll post, but it's not. I personally know one of the couples on this current season. As most of you have probably figured out already, a lot of the drama and tone is contrived by the editors of the show.

I'm happy that the first few episodes of the third season can be found online now as this is one of the few shows I keep up with and enjoy watching. It's amazing how the actions the fiances explicitly model so many of the fundamental game concepts discussed on the forum, and increasingly so as the show has produced more seasons.

My initial thoughts on some of the couples from this season so far:

Josh and Alexandra: Josh the Mormon, lacking previous experience with girls, is heavily pedastalizing his 'reformed slut' Russian fiance Alexandra, leading to some seriously cringe-worthy moments. He is also be displaying some homosexual mannerisms, especially in how he speaks. I'm not sure if this is just because of his inexperience and general softness, or if he is trying to impress his conservative, deeply religious family by dating a girl to prove his heterosexuality. Alexandra seems sweet enough on the show so far and decently easy-going about sleeping in Josh's grandma's basement (no sex before marriage) but clearly has gotten a taste of the fast life in Prague and will likely have some issues settling down in a rural American town as a housewife. There is one part in the second episode where Josh's family is talking to her outside and she is splitting her attention between them and her cell phone (I suspect communicating on VK or WhatsApp with an Alpha she fucked in Prague or Russia). If she makes it through the 90 days, there is at least a good level of success I think because virtually the whole town is Mormon and a strong network of people who will try to keep the family going down the right path. I also doubt there is much in the way of a Russian community nearby that could give her access to Russian-speaking Alphas to fuck on the side. Alexandra got lucky that she met Captain Save-A-Ho in Prague and her Eastern mentality upbringing might have led her to settle down and end her carrousel days at 22 instead of 35.

Mark and Nikki: I originally thought Baltimore 58 year-old Mark would be somewhat of a beta dweeb but so far he has impressed me in having more game than I expected and being sharper than I expected for someone who has been out of the game for two decades. Seems like he's built his own business, has a nice property and some hobbies that make him interesting (e.g. piano, boating). He is not in amazing shape but looks better than a lot of 58 year-olds. Filipino Nikki is cute but a bit childish and immature but that is not surprising considering that she is 19 and Filipino (they seem to have a reputation for that). She seems genuinely into him and has not yet shown much of a materialistic side. I wonder what will happen if/when she raises the topic of having kids. Surely she wants some but I'm not sure 58 year-old Mark would be on board. For me, Nikki is the second hottest girl on the show after Mark's daughter.

Kyle and Noon: New Orleans bartender Kyle is not the sharpest tool in the shed and seems like kind of a stoner. His heart is in the right place and he seems really into Noon even though he could probably find an American girl (young, good-looking enough guy with a job that carries a lot of social proof). I find Noon not to be at all attractive.

I agree with you completely - she is definitely the hottest girl on the show so far, although we always see her sitting and I think the one time she was standing I noticed some extra weight. Hot mix. Dyed hair = slut tell. WB in Mark's guesthouse or boat.

Think back to the scene with Jewish girl waiting for that 2am phone call. A girl as expressive as that, brimming with emotions, borderline crazy... I bet she's a force of nature between the sheets. Add in the tight body and long hair, and it's an easy win for Loren as most bangable.

Mark has that Hank Moody thing going on. While he's a capable guy in many areas of his life, somehow he lets his daughter dictate to him. Caters to her completely.

I watched the new season premiere last night with my wife who came to the US on a 90 day fiance visa. She's been with me for 6 years tomorrow. That's about my limit. It's been rocky. It sill is rocky.

As a 59 year old man with a wife 20 years younger I still think that what 58 year old Mark is doing is wrong. Not because he's three times as old as her although that is probably too much, but because he brought her here to have a woman to bang and to take care of some other woman's little kids but he doesn't want to give her any children of her own. At least that's what I've heard so far. If that's true he's totally taking advantage of a desperate young girl.

She's a cute young girl and when she's ready to make some babies she'd be doing the world a favor by reproducing. Older men (like older women) produce more children with birth defects anyway. You may not want to hear that, but it's true. She will hopefully find some young guy and dump this selfish old man as soon as she has enough credibility here to not get deported. This country can always use more hot young women. Let them all in. It's the angry young men and the old people that we don't need.

In my case my wife already has a 17 year old son and I told her up front that I don't want any more. Mine are grown so she doesn't have to take care of them. My wife's nearing the end of her fertile years anyway and due to other medical history a pregnancy now would not be good for her.

I don't know dude, I mean I agree with you that Mark has way too much of an age difference for things to actually "work out", but I don't get how you're acting like he's some kind of horrible manipulative bad man who's exploiting some innocent young girl. In general I would agree with you, and I’ve been scammed before myself. It’s true nobody put a gun to her head. But let’s be honest, in this case he is taking advantage of the fact that right now the balance of power is in his favor - for now. He is asking her to give up what to most women is the most important part of their lives: to be a mother. He’s already got his. If she wants the good life with him in the US she has to make that tremendous sacrifice. She may be past her childbearing years by the time he dies. If she decides to throw him under the bus when the balance of power shifts in her favor how is she being any worse than him? Mark is being revealed as more and more of a train wreck as this series moves ahead.

On the TLC website there's a casting tape where they tell some candid things about their background and their story as a couple. Mark tells this really strange story about proposing marriage to her after a very short time by putting a couple of thousand bucks on the table and saying "if you'd rather not be married to me, take this and go".

It's a strange dynamic. He's needy and approval seeking. Wants a girl to worship him without reserve. The Filipina is already overtly disrespecting him. There's a preview of next Sunday's episode on the website where she takes that to another level.

A good detail of game from Mark's side would be to get her cooking for him. Instead of that, he's waiting on her hand and foot. She doesn't have shit to do but chase her own tail.

I think he's also being too naive about her potential as a person. She seems dumb as a bag of hammers.

He's all about self-improvement. He thinks that by teaching her concepts and new ways of doing things, she'll turn into this intelligent, refined person. Nope, that's not going to happen.

I think you guys here are giving Mark too much shit. This dude first import wife left him with four young kids and he manned up and raised all of them, alone at that. He is also doing pretty well for himself. I say if the guy wants a 19 year old "wife" he deserves it. He's not getting any younger and can't take his worldly possessions with him. He made sure all his kids turned out well, and i doubt he will leave anything to nikki over his kids.

I also think he is being cautious with the cameras around. How many SJWs would be up in arms with him (and maybe his business/career) if he actually displayed alpha characteristics while the show is filming. He'll be seen as a manipulative perverted ego maniac. In my opinion he is playing everything right. If you guys watched last weeks episode he even told her that if she keeps up with the attitude that she'll be going back to the Philippines. The "child thing" is still the elephant in the room. Sunday's show highlights that she hopes she can change his mind to have children and he is adamantly opposed to having more kids. As I said before he is very irresponsible to take a 19 year old as a bride and think that he can ask her to give up having children, if that's what she wants. He's just the 58 year old kid in a candy store and he couldn't say No to his "hot little granddaughter".

What's worse is he has no idea how to deal with women. My wife and I cringe when he brings up his ex-wife, which he does every hour on the hour. Does he not have a clue? Guys, I'm not a pickup artist, but I have learned after 40+ years of dealing with women that they almost never want to hear about your exes. Don't mention your exes. If they bring it up give them brief answers and wait to let them ask if they want to know more. Did I mention: Don't talk about your exes.

Mark buys her a new car to play with and the first thing he does is tell her it's like the car he bought his ex-wife. Oh my god. (or Oh your god, as Bender says). He could give her the keys to a new Lamborghini but if he mentions his ex-wife he just ruined the moment. She'll still take the car, but she's going to be pissed about it.
