The forum has a new moderator: Soma. He began his duties this week and will be assisting both me and Tuthmosis. I decided to add a second moderator because there has been an uptick in reported posts and this allows more coverage throughout the day. The forum has also been discussing more controversial topics lately which needs more moderator coverage.

I met Soma over five years ago and trust him fully with the keys to the forum. I'm grateful he has volunteered his time to helping out to maintain one of the best forums online for heterosexual men.

I question the wisdom of appointing a moderator who's in North Korea. I can see how that would improve time zone coverage, but I have concerns around his reliability.

Quite the contrary:

A moderator from North Korea is perfect for frightening transgressors : they now know that, on top of Tuth's Thor hammer, they'll have to fear punishment by heavy artillery (1) and even, devouring ravenous dogs (2). I mean, only Little Dark could overcome such powerful, coordinated and multiple foes.

When Mark first told me Soma became a moderator I thought he said "Moma" and I got excited to see everyone get banned if you didn't have "lizard" in your name.

As I said when I first learned this information privately, Roosh has made a wise choice. Soma has consistently displayed a strong knowledge of the forum's culture and membership.

Tuth, I hope that the easing of the moderation burden will allow you to post here a little more often. Some of the newer guys may not even remember that you are not only the feared moderator, but among a handful of the best and most talented posters in the forum's history.

Little Dark is too powerful. Roosh can't allow him to get too close. He could find himself ousted from his own forum.
