VOX had a good take on immigration and job "creation":

http://voxday.blogspot.com/2015/09/immig...ation.html

Quote:Immigration and new job creation
This is why you can't trust one single thing the media says about immigration. First, consider the statements in a ThinkProgress article attacking Bernie Sanders's moderate position on immigration:

Quote:Sanders’ position on immigration has been called “complicated” and he has been criticized by immigration activists for supporting the idea that immigrants coming to the U.S. are taking jobs and hurting the economy, a theory that has been proven incorrect. Both of his leading Democratic challengers, Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley, have recognized that new immigrants coming to the country actually boost the economy. But Sanders continues to align himself more closely with Democratic positions of the past.

“I frankly do not believe that we should be bringing in significant numbers of unskilled to workers to compete with [unemployed] kids,” Sanders said. “I want to see these kids get jobs.”

Studies have shown that immigrants actually create jobs for American workers. Researchers recently found that each new immigrant has produced about 1.2 new jobs in the U.S., most of which have gone to native-born workers. And according to the Atlantic, an influx in immigration can cause non-tradable professions — jobs like hospitality and construction that cannot be outsourced — to see a wage increase because the demand for goods and services grows with the expanding population.

Sounds pretty conclusive, doesn't it? The "theory" that immigrants are taking jobs and hurting the economy has been "proven incorrect". Not only that, but "studies have shown" that each and every new immigrant creates 1.2 new jobs!

So, we'll go and look at the study, "Are Immigrants a Shot in the Arm for the Local Economy?", published in April 2015:

Quote:Most research on the effects of immigration focuses on the effects of immigrants as adding to the supply of labor. By contrast, this paper studies the effects of immigrants on local labor demand, due to the increase in consumer demand for local services created by immigrants. This effect can attenuate downward pressure from immigrants on non-immigrants' wages, and also benefit non-immigrants by increasing the variety of local services available. For this reason, immigrants can raise native workers' real wages, and each immigrant could create more than one job. Using US Census data from 1980 to 2000, we find considerable evidence for these effects: Each immigrant creates 1.2 local jobs for local workers, most of them going to native workers, and 62% of these jobs are in non-traded services. Immigrants appear to raise local non-tradables sector wages and to attract native-born workers from elsewhere in the country. Overall, it appears that local workers benefit from the arrival of more immigrants.

Now, to anyone who pays attention to economics, those dates should ring a bell. 1980 to 2000... just happens to coincide with the dates of one of the largest debt-funded economic expansions in world history. Not only that, but that period also precedes the U.S. interventions inAfghanistan and Iraq which led to the usual influx of "refugees" from those and other countries, such as Somalia, where U.S. forces were active.

Not counting undocumented workers, the U.S. has been strengthened by approximately one million immigrants annually, which when combined with the reports of the study, means that from 2000 to 2015, they will have created 18 million new jobs for native workers in addition to supplying approximately 10 million new jobs themselves (which is conservative, being based on the EPR), for a total of 28 million new jobs.

So, let's look at the numbers from 2000 to 2015. In January 2000, the labor force was 142,267,000 and the Employment-Population Ratio was 64.6, meaning there were 91,904,482 jobs. According to the NBR numbers, the benefits of immigration are such that there should be around 120 million jobs in 2015.

In July 2015 the labor force was 157,065,000, which is in line with the 10 million new immigrant workers, but the EPR had fallen to 59.3.That works out to 93,139,545 jobs, which is a mere 26,764,937 fewer jobs than the NBER model predicted. From 2000 to 2015, 15 million immigrants have created a grand total of 1,235,063 new jobs, which means that either a) 8.8 million native Americans have lost their jobs to immigrant labor or b) over 90 percent of immigrants are collecting welfare.

The facts are absolutely clear: immigrants do NOT create new jobs for native workers and they do not boost the economy.

I think that VOX is right. When there is net negative unemployment like in Germany/USA - depending on country anywhere from the 1970s or 80s and all legal migrants get hired for the wages of the locals, then of course there is a net bonus.

But what the presstitutes compare is a purely debt fueled economic "success" in the US form 1980 to 2000. Americans even then were getting poorer, but they did not notice it since their women started to work (second income becoming necessary) and their debt load increased to compensate for the loss in real income. Also of course due to higher number of migrants the number of necessary government jobs increased.

That kind of growth is like a jobless 18 year old taking a credit for 20 years and going on a 20 year old party without work. Then at age 38 when he has to start paying it back he realizes that he has just debts and no income. Anyone can fund the party years with debt for a time. But if you have no rising real income, then you are getting poorer and immigrants won't help in that regard at all - in fact they are going to make everyone poorer as well.

Never mind the cultural fit - that is another matter altogether.

Quote:Post Of The Day

Jews are disproportionately represented at the top, yes, but I see them as the intellectual elite that feeds ideas to the money elite to better achieve a globalist vision. Even if you ship all Jews to an island tomorrow, the remaining non-Jewish elite will just resume their march towards globalism using leftism and technology as devices in the existing industrial/banking systems. I'm starting to wonder if Jews are in fact useful idiots of a few families at the very top, meaning that there are layers of useful idiocy, with SJW's and feminists at the very bottom. The Jews mentioned in durango's post are nowhere near the top. They may be rich and have power, but they are certainly being used by those above them to achieve a globalist agenda.

Okay. I am honestly unsure who you think the money elite are, but I can tell you they too are Jews. It is the source of all Jewish power.

The United States Dollar became the world reserve currency during World War II at the Brenton Woods Conference, held at the Mount Washington Hotel, in New Hampshire, in June of 1944. Holding majority of the world's gold reserves (after President Roosevelt confiscated the gold of American citizens), and being the largest industrial economy on Earth unaffected by the horrible carnage of World War II, 730 delegates and 44 Allied nations agreed to a fixed exchange rate system with all currencies linked to the dollar and the dollar linked to gold. Additionally the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Monetary Fund were created there.

The United States offered to house other countries gold during Brenton Woods era, and 90-95% of total global gold reserves were reportedly in the United States at the peak of the arrangement.

Ultimately America was unable to maintain the system due to Lyndon Johnson's Great Society spending (welfare) and the cost of warfare in Vietnam. United States gold holdings dropped from 20,205 metric tons to 8,044 metric tons, and French President Charles de Gaulle sent a warship to New York harbor in early August 1971 to reclaim France's gold. On Sunday August 15, 1971 in an effort to preserve America's remaining gold reserves, President Richard Nixon suspended dollar convertibility into gold thereby ending the gold standard.

The dollar was now backed by nothing but the good faith of the American taxpayer.

In order preserve the demand for United States Dollars in the face of expanding debt and with no gold to back them, and to keep the "extraordinary privilege" of world reserve currency, the United States needed to maintain a high demand for dollars which Kissinger conjured up in an agreement with Saudi Arabia termed the Petrodollar. Saudi Arabia agreed to price all oil sales in U.S. Dollars and to deposit said dollars in western banks, and to reinvest in U.S. debt securities. In exchange the United States would fully develop Saudi Arabia a modern infrastructure and sell the kingdom weapons to protect itself from Israel in a deal nicknamed SAMLA (Saudi Arabia Money Laundering Affair). You can read more about it in Confessions of An Economic Hitman by John Perkins.

In any case, the point being that the Federal Reserve System was now unrestrained by gold and in sole charge of the world's reserve currency, the United States Dollar. I am not sure what the exact figures are now but a few years ago, if I recall correctly, 65% of global trade was cleared in United States Dollars, 20-25% was in cleared in Euros, and slightly less than 10% in Yen. Those figures are probably off now, but I think you get the gist of the situation.

And who owns the Federal Reserve System that wrestled away the credit of American citizens out of there hands in 1913?

And they use the money they get at local shops and nightclubs, again, boosting the economy. Thanks to this jackpot, Finland will be an economic powerhouse in 2-3 years, mark my words.

Unlike Croatia, at least Germany hasn't sent any weapons to Syria: http://www.spiegel.de/international/germ...05830.html

You'd think that if Merkel was so concerned about the poor 'refugees', she'd start by severing all ties with the USA who is funding these wars.

Our ruling party also supports war in Syria, although they lost the vote in Parliament. Please say we can get Merkel to cut ties with us too?

The very clear solution to the issue in Syria is to beg the Russians and Assad to forgive our extraordinary poor judgement and short-sightedness, allow Putin to exterminate ISIS, and spend the money we'd spend housing migrants and providing their welfare on rebuilding Syria. The entirety of parliament could then be mandated to go on a pilgrimage around the Middle East once every 5 year term, to Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan, where they will be ritually pelted with goat droppings by a selection of goat herders, randomly selected by ballot, to remind them that the folly of their forebears has significant and enduring consequences that they should not be insulated from in their ivory towers.

Why is it happening now? People in the middle-east/ Africa have been poor/ fucked for quite some time, so why now? What was the trigger?

U.S./Israel redrawing of national boundaries and geopolitics in the middle east based on policies crafted by zionists.

Merkel the stooge. Concentrating too much authority into a stooge figure.

Complacent and politically weak E.U. population ready to take it up the ass literally and figuratively.

Everyone knows about the Rothschilds and Goldman Sachs headquarters, but I was unaware of the Moses Sheif bank being headquartered in Italy. It makes sense on the fact that Italy houses one of the oldest banks to still be open. Seems to be a long historical connection in that.

So we know what the three horsemen are, where do we go after that?

Apparently Gaddafi locked up his country from sub-Saharan migrants. With his regime gone, they're passing through Libya to the Meditteranean en masse. This source is about 1/3 of the migrants currently.

This image just appeared in my Facebook feed and i felt obligated to share it with you guys. Humanity is still there under the immigrants. The police just tweeted this heart-warming drawing made by a little "refugee"girl who gifted it to a police officer.

as you can imagine, the reactions on Facebook on this lovely gesture were overwhelmingly positiv and still some haters talked about negative aspects of the migrants. Fortunately more than enough called them out for their stupidity and lack of empathy.

Well - you cannot argue with facts:

Quote:Rape and child abuse 'are rife in German refugee camps': Unsegregated conditions blamed as women are 'seen as fair game' in overcrowded migrant centres
Abuses said to be taking place among 5,000 migrants at camp in Giessen
Fear the number of unreported rapes and sexual assaults is significant
It may be taking place at overcrowded refugee centres across the country

Indeed - I remember the scenes when Polish refugees came in the 1980s during the Solidarnosc uprising to Western Europe. Some cities had similar incidents of overcrowding, but somehow I do not recall rape among those barbaric Christian Polish refugees. Must be a new thing nowadays....

Goldman Sachs non-exec chairman, Bilderberg member, former WTO director Peter Sutherland weighs in on migration.

Quote:UN MIGRATION ENVOY BELIEVES EU SHOULD ‘UNDERMINE’ NATIONAL HOMOGENEITY

The European Union (EU) should “do its best to undermine” the “homogeneity” of its member states. That is the considered view of UN special representative, Peter Sutherland, who will be a star turn at an international migration conference in Istanbul, Turkey next month.

Mr Sutherland is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP. He will represent UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon at the 8th meeting of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas.

The special envoy is on the record as a man who looks at Europe’s centuries-old traditions of nation states and individual national characteristics as something to be despised. Not only that, he feels empowered to do something about it.

In 2012 Mr Sutherland was quizzed by the House of Lords EU home affairs sub-committee about what the EU should do about evidence from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) that employment rates among migrants were higher in the US and Australia than EU countries.

Mr Sutherland, who has attended meetings of The Bilderberg Group, told the committee: “The United States, or Australia and New Zealand, are migrant societies and therefore they accommodate more readily those from other backgrounds than we do ourselves, who still nurse a sense of our homogeneity and difference from others.

“And that’s precisely what the European Union, in my view, should be doing its best to undermine.”

The Civil Society sub-committee of the GFMD meeting in Istanbul has already been tasked with achieving that ambition. According to its published five-year plan, the committee will work towards enhancing migrant labour “mobility”, “migrants’ rights protection” and “regulation of migrant labour recruitment processes”.

Defusing “tensions between the Western and the Islamic worlds” is another key theme of GFMD while “eliminating hate speech” is also high on the agenda.

It would be easy to dismiss the GFMD as a spectacularly funded debating society with little prospect of influencing national policies but it does have the ear of the UN and is granted its own special envoy in the form of Mr Sutherland.

Given that Turkey now plays host to an estimated 2 million migrants en-route to new homes in Europe, courtesy of the illegal migration path across the Mediterranean and Angela Merkel’s offer of a home in Germany to anyone who turns up on that country’s border, don’t be surprised if some of the ideas discussed in Istanbul quickly turn up on the UN’s own agenda.

Doubtless Peter Sutherland will help see to that. The Dublin-born businessman strongly advocates liberal, open door immigration policies in general and mass immigration into the EU in particular.

As he made clear to the House of Lords, Mr Sutherland believes that migration is a “crucial dynamic for economic growth” and that this is the case “however difficult it may be to explain… to the citizens of those states”.

Angela Merkel couldn’t have put it any better herself.

The Swedish indoctrination starts young:

http://www.rt.com/news/316361-sweden-sch...cide-note/

Children being told to write a suicide letter to their mom as part of a class project. That was too much for even the Swedish brainwashed SJWs.

It takes that kind of brainwashing to create a degenerate victim culture that later accepts every kind of madness.

Meanwhile Buddhists in Myanmar create laws which protect their culture and of course are instantly criticized by mainstream propaganda outlets like Al-Jazeera:

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/feature...50765.html

Militant buddhist monks - indeed those terribly violent Buddhist monks - I wonder what might have happened beforehand:

Lyrics:

"Bratričku zavirej vratka Wrote:Brother, close the door!

Brother, don't cry, those are not bogeymen,
you're old enough now, those are just soldiers,
they came in square, iron caravans.

With tears in our eyes, we look at each other,
stay with me brother, I fear for you,
on winding roads, brother, in thin boots.

It's raining and it's gone dark outside,
this night will not be a short one.
The wolf hungers for the lamb,
brother, have you closed the door?

Brother, don't cry, don't waste your tears,
swallow your curses and save your strength,
you mustn't blame me if we don't arrive.

Learn the song, it's not that difficult,
lean on me brother, the road is shattered,
we'll stumble on, we can't go back anymore.

It's raining and it's gone dark outside,
this night will not be a short one.
The wolf hungers for the lamb,
brother, close the door! Close the door!

Couldn't believe my eyes, but what can you expect - the full propaganda package - in one major Polish newspaper feminists are calling on Polish women to marry a refugee - the article is addressed to the refugees and states that Polish women are welcoming refugees and will make excellent wives.

True, and even before the cultural fit there are more economic questions to consider. Namely, that not all jobs are equally valuable. Not all jobs are equally productive or result in the same amount of taxable income. Not all jobs result in the same long-term economic benefits. To use leftie terminology, not all jobs are even worth a "living wage."

And even if you don't consider the drain on public services, there's the question about the nature of the demand created by the added labor. Addition of low-end labor tends to increase demand for the cheapest housing, goods, and services possible. You'll get McDonalds, Wal Mart, rat-infested tenement housing, and failing schools.
