I think that AB's comparison of this guy to the average reddit TRP poster is extremely accurate given these details.

In fact I'm pretty sure he must have been one of them: besides the fact that he was using a lot of their specific language (plates, etc.), the subreddit as a whole seems to have a bit of a hate-boner for Roosh.

There were two things that they 'criticized' Roosh on:

1. The fact that he made money from his blogs and even dared to have an ad pop up on his website (nevermind the fact that their top posters are also using TRP to advertise and make money). In fact they also criticized the fact that Roosh charged money for his seminar (nevermind the fact that more beloved TRP icons were to do the exact same thing months later).

2. The performance on the Doctor Oz show- I remember reading whole comment threads denouncing Roosh's performance, all with the underlying implications that they would have been able to handle it 'like alphas'.

It seems from his blog that he has enough credentials to be an upper-tier TRP poster, which I'm guessing (based again on his language and general spouting of material consistent with the TRP consensus) he must have been.

So this is what happens when online alpha-posturing meets real life.

I've been thinking for quite a while that the right in general lacks the kind of short, memorable, tweet-worthy pejoratives that their opposition has formulated. It's not just a recent phenomenon either, leftists have always been better at coming up with insulting sound-bytes, since they were coining words like "reactionary" and, slightly more recently, "bigot".

"Degenerate" is about the best reactionaries have come up with.

If they're smart, they'll still be open 6 months from now with a modified staff and a hands off approach to both their customers and the business (manage it with a minimal amount of time on location). They had a successful business by all accounts, no reason to throw it in the trash.

The likely reason they attacked Roosh is because they have had none of the issues with approaching women since they were mostly fishing from their own pond. Little do they understand how hardcore they would've failed in the same position in front of Dr. Oz. Proof is in the pudding with their current affairs. If they'd wished to be anonymous they should've been less detailed and certainly never put their voices out there without a minimal effort to disguise them. They did themselves in, really, they got cocky. Then instead of doubling down and saying that they'll never apologize for being attracted to and pursuing women, that their tweets and podcast are more of a 50 shades of grey, mixing reality with fantasy. Plausible deniability and yet they don't apologize for being heterosexual men.

Also, it's a bad idea to use your business as a grounds to meet women unless you're running a club, a strip club, or some other type of business where you have a high turnover or you're expected to be banging girls as the owner. Tighten up your anonymity if that's what you want, and don't shit where you eat.
