It was notable because you had an ancient Kirk Douglas (64) paired up with a still good looking Farrah Fawcett (33) wearing lip gloss and looking all sexy. You rarely see this old man/younger woman combo. Plus all the weird sexual stuff and rape-bot villain stuff was way ahead of its time. It's laughably cheesy if you try and watch it now though.

As much as I enjoy TNG, I do agree with this. There was too much late 80s/early 90s PC feel good kum-bi-yah talk. The whole nonsense about the Federation being money free and people are free to go about with whatever they want to do. Deep Space 9 however, I find to be far grittier. In fact, I believe they mention waiting lists for people wishing to re-locate off world mentioned somewhere in the series.

You want an excellent example of human kum-bi-yahness basically being outbred by other and different creatures check out Dr Who. The level of degenerate encouragement of "mixing" with other alien species and "evolving" (whatever that means) makes me sick even though I enjoy the show.

He ended up marrying her, and divorcing her in the final episode, which involved time travel.

I am pretty sure he banged some hottie on Risa. Maybe a few others? Riker's fat ass is the one who got to bang all of the really hot space babes.

Blame the writers.

I meant Patrick Stewart in real life. Never watched more than 20 minutes of TNG so I'm afraid your examples are a bit lost on me.

Wife 38 years younger than you and not an outright prostitute is definitely winning. After watching interviews with him and seeing how solid his frame is, I can easily believe that women that much younger are actually attracted to him.

I took another look at the pictures of the flasher girl in the OP's post, and that's one crazy looking woman. And not just "hamster-in-overdrive" crazy, but real "the snozzberries taste like snozzberries" crazy.
