Of course, there's nothing stopping the migrants from unloading at the Serbian border and just continuing to walk through the fields on foot.
except the mines of course...
These are the fields near a mostly agricultural town, and are ploughed, sowed and reaped regularly. No one has died there from mines in years. Surely after that much activity there are no mines left for migrants.
Some other areas are very dangerous, yeah, but not this one.

It was more a sarcastic observation, the majority of EU's illegal immigration is muslim men looking to game the system. The states illegal immigration obviously isn't.
But immigration is being addressed louder than ever by both regions.

EU blackmail could lead to dissolution of the European Union.

@Nineteen84: I wouldn't say full of lies, just inaccurate. Croatia really does have a significant mine problem and there are certainly lots of mines in the area - you're just unlikely to find them in the land that's been thoroughly worked over every year for the last 15 years.

White Christian Europeans are not welcome in the US or Canada - haven't been since at least the end 1980s. Diverse immigration is the desired goal of the Panamerica project. As anyone could observe - the same principle is to be applied in the EU. They hate Ukrainian refugees which would be quickly assimilated, but somehow love highly different Africans.

No doubt this public mood is heavily shaped by the media. USA and Russia arguing over Syria.
What the hell is in Syria?
Syria sits mostly within the borders of Greater Israel, which is why it's power is being destroyed and it's people depopulated.
Likewise, Iraq and Lebanon have suffered invasions, Egypt has had the Arab Spring, and Israel occupies and is ethnically cleansing the West Bank (formerly belonging to Jordan). Does anyone see a pattern here?

(Quick Canadian/Quebec parentheses)
While the European politicians and elected officials keep stabbing their own population in the back, I thought I’d look for some inspiration and comfort back at home.
Exhibit A: Meet Pierre Karl Péladeau: former media magnate and new leader of the opposition in the Quebec National Assembly. He's also the leader of the Parti Québécois, which, (for all my non-Canadian friends), advocates
Quebec's national sovereignty and the
protection of French language/culture. Of course, this party has been accused a number of times in the past of backward attitude, xenophobia and straight-up racism.
Well, sure enough, M. Peladeau didn’t waste too much time and gave the media a juicy quote back in March.
Quote:“We won’t have 25 years ahead of us to realize sovereignty,” he said. “With demographics, with immigration, it’s clear we lose a riding each year. We would like to have better control but let’s not fool ourselves.”
link
While he did have to apologize the next day, it was good to see somebody from the nationalist/sovereignist camp spitting some truth and common sense (for once) about the current situation.
Jump back to today, I was curious to see his reaction (if any) to the current migrant invasion across the Atlantic. Needless to say I was pretty dismayed when I read his comments:
Quote:Pierre Karl Peladeau asking the federal government to facilitate the access of Syrian refugees in Canada.
“Right now, it does not appear like the federal government has much compassion”, said the PQ leader Wednesday at the entrance of a caucus of his deputies at the National Assembly.
Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper wants to filter Syrian refugees to ensure the security of Canadians. Pierre Karl Péladeau believes Ottawa can do more, even reduce the intake process.
"Right now, I think the delays – which are about a year – are absolutely irreconcilable with the feeling of openness that we must have in regard to this human tragedy", he argued.
link (translation)
Bunch of gutless and spineless politicians who will say anything to fit in and look good in front of the camera…
There has been a number of analysts predicting that the next provincial election (2018) would be the Parti Québécois’ last shot to push sovereignty. Times are changing, the party’s supporters are ageing and the local economy is shit. Considering their leader doesn’t even have the guts to say
NO to cultural suicide, I would say, to my fellow Canucks, not to worry about the results.

As much as Zel may have a tin hat on now and again, he's not far off on this in my opinion.
Of course the ease of bringing in those from Mexico and Central Am may tilt it even more to the brown crowd. Walking is a lot easier than getting a boat to cross the Atlantic.
I will say this however; Granted, it was a few years ago now, but there were at least 1000 H1B Brazilians (all I met were white btw. I have no idea what English rates are in Brazil but tht may play a part.) working in my resort town. On the flip side, pay more than minimum and those jobs would have been filled with WI kids like they were back in the day.
Hell, back in the day kids looked forward to working in the Dells. I sure as hell did even though the pay was shit. Parties every night and all the trim a guy could want.

Quote:Very interesting and intelligent post (as usual) from Sweet Pea.
What is unusual is that, this time, Sweet Pea is not 100% right, I'd say.
First, anecdotally, on this quote: "The French (...) and English may not know the pain of fear, the fear that comes from foreign invaders who share nothing in common with you knocking at your doorstep":
Sweet Pea, just read online the most famous political blog in France, fdesouche.com, or novopress, and you'll see that every day, every day, some French people are killed, maimed, raped, by "foreign invaders" (African illegal immigrants, mostly). So, we do know this pain and fear that you perfectly described in your post.
Secondly, much more importantly, about Islam... Well, what can I say, your analysis is not totally accurate on that, from a French point of view... I'd say, you are falling into a very insidious trap (unless you, very deftly, just pretend to fall for it): focusing too much on Islam, which is not the main issue here. I explain :
Have you been to sub-saharan Africa? Do you think sub-saharan (Black African) migrants care about Islam (whether or not they might or might not technically call themselves "muslims" - which the prophet of Islam most certainly would not have appreciated, by the way)?
They are coming to Western Europe through Lampedusa, Ceuta, Spanish beaches, Turkey, or even with dummy tourist-visas, by millions, and Islam is the last thing on their minds. In their minds are, in no particular order:
Easy money, social welfare money. Free accommodation. Dumb white SJWs giving them lot of free stuff. Glorious white pussy. Easy white-guilt ridden White pussy. And, liberal White pussy. Having the dream-life of a white-pussy-fucking football star. Free health care. Sending money to gran-momma back in the village. And then, then, maybe, you might find, or not, Islam in some remote corner of their minds...
And most important: these sub-saharan would-be migrants are around... 600 millions
. Yes, as ex-president Sarkozy said, twice, in front of the TV media: "A 12 km de nos cotes il y a 600 millions de jeunes chômeurs africains prets a emigrer vers l'Europe a court ou moyen terme" : 12 kilometers from our coasts are 600 millions of young unemployed Sub Saharan Africans ready to emigrate to Europe, soon or in medium term, notably through Gibraltar
So this is the main danger, and Islam is not relevant for these 600 millions sub-Saharan would-be migrants...
I still stand by what I say about Islam, and about the migrants in general. Whether "most Muslims aren't like that" doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things--and that's because, unlike most religions, you can't safely say "virtually NO Muslims are like that."
Yes, I'm aware of the intense hatred Arab Muslims hold for black Muslims. I've read the 1001 Nights multiple times and can see with my own eyes. But...
Whether the migrants are preaching the Quran or not also doesn't matter. I plan on reading the Quran, starting this weekend, to see whether I am right or not, but Islam is a tool of Arab conquest. The point of Islam is that it is always in the back of your mind.
You'd be hard pressed to find a vast majority of Americans at church on any given Sunday, but America has (and hopefully always will be) a country founded on Christian ideals. Though we may not actively worship or even believe in God as we once did (and I am certainly not religious), the principle beliefs of Christianity still guide us and shape our decisions. Christianity is woven into our existence, and always lurks beneath the surface. I would find it hard to believe if Islam did not equally guide its followers.
The fact is, it doesn't matter where these migrants come from. Whether they're jihadists from Iraq or welfare-seekers from the Sahel doesn't matter. Whether they want to rape and murder or simply leach off their host government doesn't matter. And at this point, even if they want to assimilate, to adopt their new country's culture, it also doesn't matter. And that's because there is no system in place to separate the bad apples from the good ones.
For that reason, you have to treat all of the migrants the same. It's not paranoia or hate or racism, it's about survival at this point. European countries don't have the luxury of playing the waiting game any longer.[/quote]

The ones with cash, sure.
The ones on H1B's by me are working 2 or 3 jobs as all of their income from the one that brought them in goes for their flights, paperwork, lodging, etc. Edit-Before the Brazilians, it was EE's. Apparently Latino's are easier and cheaper now.
If Obama wanted more from Europe, why are we bringing in so many from India for IT jobs? I've hired more Ukrainians than Indians by far for IT work, they're a far better ROI in my experience, yet few seem to come here.
And like i said, it's obviously easier for poor Latinos to get here than it is for most Eastern Euros.
On the flip side, perhaps EE's don't have the desire to come here like those south of the border.

I don't think middle class and wealthy, educated Brits is the type of immigrants he's talking about. Those types have been and will always be able to get in via jobs, business etc.
He's talking about why so few Ukrainians, and various other Eastern European whites are not let in at anywhere near the rate of third world Africans, Latin Americans. I have to agree with that assessment. And it's a shame because there are many highly skilled IT workers from the region, I've worked with many contractors from Ukraine and elsewhere in Eastern Europe. Why aren't they being let in at the rate of the leeches we see now?

It's a resort/tourist town so they bring them in to work in the hotels, water parks, etc. All of the bigger places have their own accommodations for these workers, that they charge them for, so after paperwork, motel maintenance and the flights the workers end up being essentially free. (Everything is deducted from their pay is what I am trying to say)
ALL of the H1B workers I have met over the years have at least 2 if not 3 jobs so they actually make something during their stay as their primary job confiscates almost all of their money to cover the expenses of bringing them in and housing them.
WI high school kids and college students used to do these jobs. Now the only college students in town work at Cruisin' Chubbies. (Strip club if you didn't figure it out)
