Why else are they so intent on getting to Germany and the UK when they are already in safe European countries?

@TheWastelander Sinn Féin are a strange bunch.
Essentially, they are the political wing of what was the IRA, although they've mostly left that behind them now (maybe not so much in Northern Ireland).
For the most part, they are rabble rousers, they push a naïve socialistic type agenda, which would be absolutely disastrous for the economy, should they ever get in power (which is not impossible).
The woman pictured sometimes comes up with interesting points, but in recent times, she's gone off the deep end, with increasingly pointless and cynical soundbites, essentially she says whatever it is she thinks will win her votes, regardless of how illogical or dumb her words are.
She is somewhat popular in middle class lefty circles in Dublin and commuterland around Dublin.
Because she's a woman, she's also being thrust into the spotlight a lot in last few years as the voice of the sisterhood or something, some people see through her but a lot of the more sheeplike Irish (of which there are many!) fall for her and Sinn Fein's shtick, hook, line and sinker!

Plenty of stories coming out of this. The road to Hungary will be closed for the majority of people thanks to the extreme winters. Serbia will be a no-go zone for those who like a bit of sun and lets not forget winter is coming for Europe and the med becomes even worse weather-wise.

The navies should have stopped the boats leaving Libya and any brought abroad should be put back onto the shore they came from.

What they should be doing is building an effective means to prevent mass migrant waves.

What they are doing instead is allowing them into the EU bloc, giving them papers and telling them where the UK, France, Germany and Sweden are.

For me personally I understand the anti-immigration policies will never work. Instead I am hoping for a scorched Earth policy.

If the main countries of the EU sustain constant economic, cultural and religious upheaval then only change will come. Germany and France need to suffer alongside the UK for people to acknowledge anything.

Look at Sweden now and imagine it in 10 years time or 20 when another generation or two of immigrants are changing it to suit their style of life.

- It has great views.

- It has a lovely sunny climate

- Yet the temperatures are mild and there is good rainfall for agriculture due to the moderately high altitude (about 1,000 meters on average).

- This place even has a ski resort! (It doesn’t, however, seem to have any golf courses, but as the picture at the top shows, it has lots of rolling open land ideal for golf.)

- It’s quite under-populated relative to its carrying capacity. It’s hard to find exact numbers, but this region appears to be about 500 square miles in size with a present day population of somewhere around 40,000.

- The population today seems to be less than half of what it was a half century ago.

- It’s conveniently, even extremely close to Syria.

- And yet, this region is an island of peace and law & order under a strong, sophisticated government in a state with a prosperous economy.

- If there is any government in the world hardnosed enough to keep Syrian Sunnis and Shi’ites from killing each other, it’s this government.

- In fact, a fair number of Syrians are descended from people who used to live there. Some of the middle-aged and elderly Syrian refugees even lived here themselves before being driven out.

Indeed, this place is still recognized as Syria’s own national territory by almost all the countries of the world.

Where is it?

Why, the Golan Heights, of course.

But, for some reason, the American press never seems to bring up the Golan Heights as a natural destination for Syrian refugees.

Instead, Syrians should all move to Europe.

Or maybe to America.

It’s inevitable. There is no stopping them.

Except they seem to be completely stopped from moving to the Golan Heights, which looks like a pretty okay place.

But the Golan Heights never seems to come up.

Funny how that works.

Each year they have attempted to use some ruse to justify a war in Syria. This year it is dead babies washing up on shore to migrate. They push aggressively because the window for attacks closes once the rainy winter hits the region.

This is the mess the west created. They have been meddeling in Syrian and North African affairs and have runied the stability of all these places leading to the mass migrant issue.

The child picture on the press today is pure propaganda. Same propaganda of the fake coffin picture they used one year (around the same time of year) to rile up cries for a war in Syria.

Syria has been fighting western aided ISIS for years now Turkey sits trolling adding gas to the flames of ISID as enabelers and with messing with the Kurds who are also fighting them off. This migrant shift is from the weekend state as the ISIS battle has spread out to numeruous smaller villages in areaa that were prior immune from the older Syrian conflicts.

Thing is, the leftists don't just want UK, France and Germany to "open the gates for more migration"... They actually want us to transport, free of charge, in our trucks, planes and boats, all these "migrants": safe and painless door-to-door delivery of illegals, that's what liberals are demanding.

I kid you not! They want us to take charge of the migrants at the door of their house in their distant country, and bring them "safely and comfortably" to our Western cities, "to avoid any more deaths".

We all know that more migrants' deaths will occur at sea in winter, so, I'd bet that... ultimately the EU will organize a massive airlift, to bring the migrants to Berlin-Paris-London...

A bunch of them are moral-signaling by telling their governments they're willing to take these poor children into their homes.

It's unfortunate, but I think things have to get a whole lot worse before they can get better. Europeans need to wake up.

Might I also add that all this is proof positive why women should never be allowed to vote or hold office? The media tugs on their heartstrings with shit like that dead child. Most of the sympathetic things I've seen have been from women. They are easily manipulated by the powers that be.

The media in Canada is running with the "Dead boy on the shores" photo. There's a huge uproar among the SJWs here because the family of the child had applied for political asylum here but were denied. I have already seen a few 'this is our fault too' type pieces in all major newspapers.

I feel like I am living in some sort of bizarro world where people can just pack up their bags and go to any country they want. If you don't like that then you are a racist.

Yeah, I'm in Canada and everybody is trying to show how compassionate they are. The fact that we are currently in the midst of a federal election is only adding fuel to the fire. Everybody running for office (party leaders and MPs) is trying to score political points with this. The photo was on the front page of two of the newspapers in my city.

A few days ago, I posted an article on Facebook (not David Frum's one for 'The Atlantic') but something similar except a bit more forthright and hard hitting in it's language.
What I thought might open a few people's minds on the topic, instead backfired dramatically.
Nobody, not one person rowed in to support me, (even though I know some people share similar views to me), and I got several negative comments, mostly from European mainlanders and one person in particular was outright hostile.
I had no choice really but to pull the whole thing down, there could have been implications in terms of my job, etc
As much as I want to speak my mind on this to people, we're sadly at a place in time now where you can get yourself in hot water, by simply stating the facts, by looking at an issue objectively and questioning the mainstream view we're fed by the mainstream media.

The atmosphere here in Poland is quite different. I posted something on Facebook about the crisis, namely that it's basically suicide for Europe, and almost every single comment supported me. Only one girl kept posting comments akin to "think of the children!!?!?" (not exaggerating). Logical arguments had no effect on this emotional way of thinking.

Basically, my main points:
-If we accept all migrants, we may as well close shop and just stop existing as nations. What's the point of borders, or common culture for that matter? Where do we draw the line? Europeans are a minority in the world. If we accept people from every warzone, there will be no Europe in 50-100 years.

-They do not share our values, over 90% of refugees from Syria are Muslim, and every European country with a sizable Muslim minority has huge problems (poverty, crime, rape, etc.) Just look at Rotherham or the rape epidemic in Sweden.

-We have our own problems. Almost 16 million Europeans are out of work. 170,000 children in Poland alone don't have enough to eat. Let's take care of our own.

-How come Europe is responsible for taking care of this crisis? If anything, the US should get involved since they destabilized the region and funded/armed ISIS. Either way, why do I have any obligation to help these people?

-I pay almost 30% taxes on my modest salary. I don't mind if some of this money goes to help the poor, elderly, or disabled here in Europe. But I sure as hell ain't working 2-3 jobs to support complete foreigners who will never repay our generosity.

-If we let them stay here, even more migrants will come over on boats and more children will drown. If we didn't, they wouldn't come. No matter how many times I point out this incredibly simple and logical argument, this girl just couldn't wrap her head around it.

This situation is out of hand and fucked up beyond all reality.
It's like watching your own house and everything you have built up being burned down in slow motion.

This is the real cultural collapse of Europe we are witnessing. And this is only the beginning.
It's going to end up very ugly in one way or another and it will be the number one subject they will teach on the history lessons in future generations.

People are blinded, Europe is doomed.

Time to pack my bags and enjoy life as long as it's possible.

Pretty much THIS. This whole refugee thing really seems to activate their mother instincts and decreases their already low ability to think rationally. Whenever you talk to women who support these "refugees" they'll always show you a weird "BBBBuuuuut we have to help these people"-mentality. Most - not all - women seem to lack the ability to see the big picture here, let alone the skill to detect possible threats.
