The only people I saw getting into fights on an even remotely regular basis (ie. more than a once or twice, or for many or most guys perhaps never) while I was in my teens and twenties, were below average IQ guys with anger management issues getting into one-on-one or small bar brawls. Or criminals.

I'm not saying that being able to defend yourself if you do happen to ever find yourself unable to avoid a fight is a bad thing at all (has happened three times in my life, fortunately with no weapons or serious intent to maim involved).
And I'm also sure there are some demographics and locations where violence is much more frequent than anywhere I've lived or visited (hell, maybe those demographics could hypothetically even include some rare groups of people who aren't career criminals).
However I'm not entirely convinced that "fighting is part of being a man" (real fights, with high risk of injury or in some cases even death) is genuinely a reality for most men - military service excluded - in recent decades. Even many of those with normal testosterone levels and various other "manly" interests.

I suppose a lot has to do where you were raised and what race you are. I was a very rare minority where I grew up and often had to fight on my way to school just because my ethnicity and skin color. At a young age I realized standing up for ones self felt a lot better than backing down.

Wait so nobody here has ever fought more than one person at a time and won? I truly find that hard to believe, and even harder to believe that it seems so utterly unbelievable. Often times people who pick fights are not very good and also not expecting return fire.

That can work both ways. If you look like you're both capable of and willing to do so then the odds that any aggression against you will be escalated go down dramatically. Most people aren't willing to start a fight with someone who looks like he'd kill you and not lose a minute of sleep over it.

White knights in particular....for them it's more about giving the appearance that they're willing to fight. The actual fight is tertiary to their objectives.

A direct by product of fucking lots of beautiful women is haters and jealous men who would like nothing better than to embarrass you in front of your beautiful girlfriend. Now that I am finding out that nobody fights I am doubting the outrageous notch counts as well. Fighting comes along with being a successful ladies man.

No, not really. Fighting is the last resort of somebody who can't think of a comeback or talk their way out of one. I had 4 locals try to jump me walking back from the clubs with a chick on the Budapest Island, we wound up shaking hands. Guess who she came home with? And what do I care if some chump wants to try to embarrass me in front of a chick? I'm the one who's going to be fucking her - unless I get kicked out of the club/a tooth knocked out/go to jail. I can fight, and have fought but I'd rather just laugh shit off.
