I don't want this to go down the predictable road but rather have an intellectual talk about race issues.

I just saw this video and the answers were unsurprising. What I mean is that there is a camera, a black guy with the mic, so the women being interviewed are in a way forced subconsciously to give the politically correct answer. With social media being so powerful in this age, it's almost impossible to do a "social experiment" on race and dating with honest answers. As we all know, no one wants to be labeled a "racist", so if a woman were to say "no" it would backfire on her with people calling her "racist" and possibly make her life more difficult after that because there's sort of a pressure to be more "open" with regards to preference these days.

Now if we were to look at the comments, it's pretty much a lose-lose situation. You see peoples true colors here. There's insecurities, egos, over-generalizations being thrown all over the place.

I do have a question. Why are those girls spending Spring Break at what appears to have virtually no black men?
Almost everyone in that video is white aside from the presenters.

OP, I'm not sure what you're trying to gain as these types of topics are often high risk with low reward. If your intent wasn't malicious then I suggest avoiding race issues especially as a new member with no rep under his belt. Otherwise you're risking this:

Sometimes certain screennames evoke a whole backstory fantasy in my head.

Like for me, when I read Rortis, I think in my head, "You know, I bet this guy's name in real life really is Rortis. He lives in the suburbs of Des Moines, still at home with his parents, an English mother and German father. His father makes him call him 'sir'. Every morning at 6:00AM his mom yells out, 'Rortis! Go out and water the plants!' and afterwards he sits down to a bowl of Grape Nuts cereal with 2% lowfat milk."
