I have done rather well in my life observing others actions, judging their character, then implementing or abstaining according to their results.

I have a younger sister who totally lost out on this ability. She is the type of person who needs a full body tattoo to figure out if she wants a tattoo.

If Roosh is of exceptional character, bangs 500 girls and stops - should I spend the last half of my 20s trying to get millennial pussy, or should I look at what Roosh et al. 5- 10 years older are doing now and begin that instead?

What exactly does Roosh have to do with it? What life do you want? You make that call. Once you make it then study and emulate those who have walked that path already.

If your concern is that hedonism as an end goal will be empty then thousands of years of religion and philosophy would mostly agree. Find some balance.

Bad news, you will never get his life because that is a combination of his experiences, mistakes, decisions and his own being, but here is the good news, you can learn from the experienced and from other peoples mistakes and then implement that in your life to get what you want.

OP, that is an admirable set of goals and RVF is a great community to support you in achieving such goals. But we are all different and we all value things differently. Along those lines we all define what you are seeking differently. There may be some general things like don't fuck fat chicks but even then we all define fat differently except in the most obvious cases and even then there is a knucklehead who would fuck a fatty to end a dry spell.


Everyone should have a goal or set of goals at all times. These can change as we achieve and also learn more about what we want from life. But we do need a guiding light (our own). What may help in this conversation would be if you listed what you consider well rounded, confident and competent.

As a piece of advice. Never let another person tell you what your goals should be. I think it is very important to remember that being a man is being the captain of your own ship. People can give advice but you are the one that has to deal with it if it is shitty advice. Pick and choose what makes sense for you and who you are.

I respect that you are pondering this. Good luck on the journey.

Edit: maybe seek out the 40 plus thread and read through it. That might help give some thoughts on what the journey is like. Once again we are all different so take it with a grain of salt.

Edit2: here is a crazy suggestion. Take a big risk. You sound like an analytical guy always trying to make the right moves. But you are younger you can afford to have a big risk and possible failure. You will learn a lot about yourself and grow as a person if it doesn't kill you. I was always successful when I was young into my 30s and then I took biggest risk ever. Things look like they will sort out but I have had some serious meltdowns these last few years. Being able to face potential disaster and still carry on can build some character. Just a suggestion. It will stretch you as a person and I am not wanting you to fail though many have and come back. But it sets perspective when you face other much smaller matters in your life.

Yes. It is, in balance. The confidence you will use, sharpen and acquire from your interaction with women will carry into success elsewhere in life, or at least should.

I can tell my boss anything with confidence, because Ive learned to do so with women, and vice versa. Just takes balance- Ive been less productive at past jobs due to being hungover from tail chasing 24/7

Like everyone else here has said, you have to travel your own road. Keep trucking and see where that road takes you, as well as what it has been all along.

I am actually concerned the OP will miss certain critical experiences and be unprepared in his later years. Growth comes not from success usually. But from struggle.
