I know Roosh from when I lived in DC. After moving to Texas, I continued to follow his blog, I saw that he started a new forum. I signed up and posted a couple times, but didn't commit to it.

Swallowed the blue pill whole, got married, almost had kids while she cheated on me, almost ruined my life, got divorced, came back here with guys telling me to go fly out to a poosy paradise.

I thought I had posted on this thread, anyways I was browsing google on the benefits of not watching porn and masturbating excessively when I ran upon an ROK article that talked about it. From there I kept browsing the site and a lot of articles resonated with me, eventually I ran into roosh's website, at the same time I thought it would be awesome if there was a place to speak about all of this with other individuals and that's when I found the forum which I lurked for about two months before joining.

I can't remember the exact circumstances of my fall from grace into the clutches of the Evil Evil RVF , but I vaguely remember at the time still being baffled by how women acted against their own interests (favoring players over guys better in the long term) and also how what they said was completely inconsistent with what they did.

One of the first gems I remember from reading Roosh was the story of girls bitching about their unavailable "boyfriends" and his realization that HE should "be the flake" , and be the one that won by acting in the way that truly worked, rather than the way that feminist women around 2010 said they want men to act.

I've been temporarily banned many times for being annoying and a sneering liberal, but haven't quite managed to have the hissy fit required for total exile.

Before I found RVF, I'd describe myself as pretty purple pill already. I already disliked lefties and feminists, and never worshipped or bowed down completely to women. However I still believed in the blue pill ideal of love, and had 'two-itis' for 2 girls.

Getting on to how I found the forum, I was contemplating study and travel options for the future, and like all red pill and some purple pill guys thought success with girls is a measure of how good a place is to go to. So I was searching for how open Japanese girls were for interacting with westerners, and somehow I stumbled across the forum.

I can't really remember what happened next, however I would guess that I browsed a few threads and agreed with the anti feminist sentiment shared here and decided to sign up.

Honestly, this site is any man's dream. Articles on how to make more money and the dangers of feminism. Intricate threads on how small changes to your physique affect your level of attractiveness. Discussions on religion, books and education.

All of that for free. Incredible.

I'll use this post as a thank you to everyone for their wisdom and advice so far, long may it continue. An especially big thanks to Roosh himself, weird how 1 man has changed so many of our lives.

I love it here, and plan to stay here for life.

My last year of high school was kind of brutal and rough, which is a story in itself, and to top it all off I was a skinny weird slightly-beta kid.

So starting when I entered college and for the past two years now (just finished my sophomore year), I've been focusing on self-improvement in so many ways, and it's been great.

I ran into this site a few months ago. A thread came up when I was searching some typical controversial story where annoying SJWs took over the majority of the coverage and side of the argument.

After I looked around a bit, it looked like the perfect place for me. Five months into the forum now and I'm still very happy to be a small part of it.

I shudder to admit it, but I discovered MMSL about 3 years ago almost at it's inception when it wasn't the unabashed purple pill venture it is now, this was the start of me in the so called "manosphere". I called out a woman on the MMSL forum for being a cunt and got a temp ban and said "fuck this" - I had contributed extensively to one of the longest, most successful and helpful threads on the site and the owner hit me with the ban stick for calling a cunt out on her shit. I then expanded my searches and started really ingesting the red pill, found this and others, many blogs and the rest is history.

It was a rude awakening, but my life is 5000% better now then it was as a blue pill simp. Work, sex life, shit every relationship. I was a situational alpha in my work, I am for all intents and purposes an alpha in all walks of life now. Thanks to Roosh, Chateau, Roissy - fucking awesome.

For me I discovered this blog when I was Daygaming fallowing the Mystery model but then I was thinking that I wanted to do this while not becoming manic like him. Then I discovered Day Bang and never looked back. Now I understand why I'm doing this while truly enjoying it (most of the times)!

I've always seeked the truth. I knew there were some real fucked up things causing social destruction. From the middle of the Bill Clinton era on, it became obvious, but I didn't want to point my finger in any one singular direction until I had a broader perspective.

After doing many of the right things and being praised for my life's efforts: building a business netting me 6-figures, then losing it to the disasterous effects of terrorism and bubble economics on the market I was it, getting college degrees, navigating the bullshit politics of the modern work environment after closing my business, and a few major mistakes in my dealings with women including an unplanned pregnancy with one of the least desirable women I'd been with (around the 90 bang mark), searching methods to become better with women led me here circa 2010/2011.

Probably the biggest shock really was simply finding that people were banding together online consummately discussing the same shit I was finding wrong with society, and between the genders.

Roosh just made the most sense to me. I tried the methods described in BANG and they immediately got results. So here I stay with better game, and better life focus.

Somehow I found out about Athol Kay's book "Married Man Sex Life" and from there his blog & blogroll. Decided to join now and occasionally post. Currently in my early twenties and trying to put a decent life together before I pursue Game too hard.

My dad put me onto heartiste which I read for a couple months before clicking on his 'rooshv' link on the right hand side of his page. I had just come out of my first LTR at 19 years old after being fucked over by a girl I thought was 'the one'. Good timing for sure.
