That's probably the biggest issue, he's definitely overpaying even if the money is like water to him. The principle of it and all.

What the aforementioned HK billionaires usually do is wine/dine starlets and impress them with their social circle. Maybe give them a car, fancy clothes, and or high rise condo which serves as a private bang sanctuary. Then they cut them loose when they're bored..usually under a few years.

By that time the starlets get a few high profile connections in return to develop their "careers" and the alpha male stars then come for their turn at the ride. When they are used up they disappear into obscurity as some mistress (if they are lucky) or just fade out completely. A few make it overseas into mainstream Hollywood though (Maggie Q and Zhang ziyi) comes to mind.

Guys, we're overthinking this. If he has 'just' 1 billion dollars, this is only 1/1250th of his net worth. It's a less a expensive, more sex-filled version of marriage that doesn't end up with an ugly old wife, kids, or a divorce.
