I made another Tinder account after a couple months' hiatus. Found myself swiping mostly left as the quality went south. Now they wanna charge me $22.99 to keep swiping degenerates and attention whores.

I changed my profile pics on my fb so I expected these changes to appear on my Tinder profile as well but none!
I signed out even desinstalled the app and reinstalled it after deleting the link in my fb settings
still the same pics!!!
any ideas?

Fake GPS doesn't work on the lastest version of Bluestacks. You need to use older version. That's what I found out until now.

Fake GPS doesn't work on the lastest version of Bluestacks. You need to use older version. That's what I found out until now.

For me anyway. I redownloaded Tinder the other day and all my issues seem to have been sorted out.

It must have updated or something or just fixed itself because now I can access all my pictures again.

I'm in a medium sized UK city so the app still has value. I've got 30 matches since I jumped on yesterday morning. A couple of real hotties so hopefully can get something going for a summer rotation.

QC, any luck sorting yours out?

Did you have a problem with matches or lack thereof before this update/fix?

If you read up you will see I had a problem with getting Tinder to let me get at my Facebook pictures. The same issue as QC and a couple others I believe.

I've used Tinder on and off over the last year or so. I tried jumping back on it a couple weeks ago to line up some girls who are back in town for the summer but it wouldn't let me access my pictures. I tried uninstalling, clearing the cache and removing the permissions. All of that shit but nothing worked.

Then I redownloaded yesterday and it worked, I had access to all my picures.

I now have 32 matches total now since I re entered the fray. That was yesterday morning. This is definitely a little higher than when I used it last.

Although I have never had much of an issue getting matches honestly. I have banged 2 girls off Tinder out of maybe 150 matches. I deleted the app just before Christmas cause I got frustrated and like I said jumped back on hoping to capitilize on the summer coming up.

Although this go a round I decided to add my height to my bio (I'm tall) and I added a topless picture as well to see if that would help screen for the DTF chicks. I think this has upped my match rate a little for sure. It's worth a try if you haven't done it yet and your in good shape.

It seems to be working pretty well. There's a few 8+'s in there that I'll definitely hit up. The rest mostly 5's and 6's and a couple SIF's who slipped through the net. I normally pretty selective with who I swipe on. I can't be asked to sift through a bunch of rough skanks that I have no interest in.

I'm just wary of Tinder now. Ever since I realised they were holding onto accounts which have been deleted by the user (they never remove them entirely) I reckon they have a lot of ghost accounts to fill it up and make it seem like you have lots of options.

Are you saying Tinder still shows your account to potential matches after it has been deleted? ?

Be wary all you want man but I think it still has some legs left. Probably will until the new next thing comes along and everyone will jump on the hype train. Maybe it's dead in the States but the UK is a little behind.

It may not work for you, but it's working for me. Your location obviously plays a factor. I'm in Essex and there's still a few fish left in this sea.

I just downloaded the 'happn' app though. I'm going out tonight for the fight, hoping the city will be busy and I might get some of those 'crossed paths' going on if I'm right in that's how it works.

Yes, and I did it my own way. Tinder announced that they had "fixed" the bug that was causing the problem, but I used a different approach. It just involved setting up an alternate Facebook page. Same first name, different last name. If any of you guys need to use this method in the future, here it is.

It may seem like a laborious method, but Tinder left me with no choice. I had to be creative to get around this problem.

1. Delete Tinder from your phone. Then go to Facebook and delete the app from your Facebook page. You can do this on the section that deals with apps.

2. Wait a couple days to let the dust settle.

3. Set up a new Facebook account using your same first name, but different last name. You should also use a different email address and new password. The idea is that you want to start totally fresh so that when Tinder goes to pull off the profile photos, it's from a totally new place. It's not a "fake" page, because you're using all real info.

4. In your new page, use your regular info: profile photos, etc.

5. Remember that you should have at least 50 friends or so, so that Tinder recognizes you as a real person. How do you do that? Easy. Go to "Tinder Seductions" Facebook page and ask random people to friend you. Everyone else there is doing the same thing you're doing.

6. Let things sit for a few days more. You will be surprised at how many people will want to friend you.

Then reload Tinder on your phone, and when you login, use the login and password of your new Facebook page.

Problem solved.
