I think a lot of tall guys severely underestimate the role their height plays in attracting women. I'm exactly 5 ft 10 in., and I still get told by tall women 5 ft 8 - 5ft 11 that I'm too short, or that they prefer taller guys.

Completely agree. Especially if you are below average in your country of residence. Being 2'' below average has really been a pain in the butt.

I'm sure height plays a part, but I think the way you hold yourself has a much bigger impact. I've seen tall guys with terrible body language get outshone by smaller guys who know exactly how to project higher status.

5'5 (165 cm). While my game has started making this less and less of an issue recently, I've always felt it has been a huge hindrance to me. My weight is 115 lb (50 kg), but that hasn't been a problem, to the contrary I'm all one big muscle with very low body fat %.

I am 5'9", 185lbs. I was 5'10" until I had back problems. Hopefully when these resolve I'll have regained my inch.

I think height is important, although like anything else it can be overcome with game. Basically I think as long as you are the girls height or greater there is no issue. None. Unless they wear heels, then it you should probably subtract 2-3". So I figure my range where height is never an issue is 5'6" and lower plus heels. Without heels, up to 5'9". Fortunately most women fall in this range, except for Scandinavian women and Baltic women. I might need to up my game there.

There sure are some tall dudes in this forum.

I understand how being tall can physically make you alpha, but I don't think being tall makes you alpha in and of itself. You can be 6 ft 4 in and be a string bean with no muscle, no self defense skills, and you might just be a timid pussy, with no social skills, and a fear of approaching women.

On the other hand a guy can be 5 ft. 6 in., built like a pit bull, super confident, successful, etc.

Who is more alpha, the taller guy or the shorter guy? Personally, I think discussions of what are alpha are a bit too subjective and ultimately lame.

Height is hardly a factor. I knew this short cat in London who used to rinse an excessive amount of lizards. He worked with me in this pharmacy/grocery store similar to Shoppers Drug Mart (Toronto's version of Publix).
However, on his side, he opened up on countless lizards. I saw him get shut down a lot but he didn't give a fcuk (hence he got to fcuk).
So for the short cats in here, don't sweat that. As I heard one Jamaican guy say to a lizard "We are the same height when we inna de bed"

from my experience, good looks , style , money and game are more important than height itself.

The height thing has definitely helped me. Someone mentioned that a tall girl has rejected short guys. The interesting thing to me was that short women don't reject tall guys, even if they normally date short guys. A girl I was seeing in college was 5'1" (although I prefer tall girls). She dated almost exclusively short guys before, but actually liked the fact that I was so much taller than her.

My theory is that greater height gives generally positive returns up to 6'6", then it MAY start being a bit of a negative.

In my experience your theory seems accurate. I know a few guys who are in the 6' 7" range and it definitely seems to hurt them a little. They still land girls, but I've never seen them with a girl under 5' 6". Height doesn't make a huge difference because it's more about how you carry yourself and your posture. Being on either extreme on the spectrum though (5' 3" or 6' 8") does seem to limit your dating pool a little from what I've seen.

Then again, it would be kind of cool to be 7'+ and have chicks blow you while they're standing up.
