Okay, I have a pretty nasty oneitis for a chick. I know it's bad inner game, but in my defense, there is no legal, professional way I can have any relations with this chick due to my job. I'm relegated to my fantasies that can never be fulfilled.

Oddly enough, this oneitis has actually improved my game with other women. I'm so mentally preoccupied with this girl that my mental and emotional state with other women is one of a completely natural aloofness and emotional distance. I've had more girls approach me than ever before, and I'm putting off a super-direct alpha vibe with the girls I approach. And unlike my superbeta past, I'm not that hung up on my oneitis that I can't partake in these new opportunities. I'd never thought I'd have a oneitis again, but luckily I've got one that severely helps my game.

I need to channel the intensity of this oneitis into a hobby of some sort, something that actually will benefit me in the end. I guess that's what real alpha males do - they still get oneitis but it's for something cool and useful that makes them attractive to women. An all-encompassing desire for something else besides a woman is a turn-on apparently.

I can relate. I experienced a similar phenomenon when I waswith my ex-girlfriend. Numerous female friends of started getting into me. Two of them straight up asked me out (I kept her a secret from most people).

The best thing you can do right now is have success with other women to keep your mind off her. And kick your current oneitis off the pedestal hard. Imagine her enjoying being rammed in every orifice by anonymous 9 inch cocks. Do this regularly and your oneitis won't last much longer.

what is the cause of oneitis?

1. not having any other prospects

2. not having any other prospects as attractive as your oneitis

3. irrational obsession with 1 girl that even players with lots of prospects can have

if its 1 or 2 then the solution is simply approach and get more girls in the pipeline. if its 3, then itll take some mental strength to get through. maybe do something like p dog said.

The best way to get over oneitis is to bang other girls. Other girls will make you see that there's more than only her. Girls in different shapes and sizes, girls with different emotion states and levels of attractiveness.

That's very interesting....after drinking heavily I'm always depressed, but because i KNOW it's from the drinking I don't dwell on things too much. I can see how having that knowledge with the obsession of a girl can help.

That being said, this oneitis situation is a temporary benefit at best. The good news is that you're seeing where you should be. Don't use her as a crutch to feel high value and aloof, feel that without her by getting rid of that obsession and carrying on the same way.

I think if I channel this sort of obsessive behavior into a new hobby or something, then the benefit would work that way. Just the fact that something is preoccupying my mind more than other things seems like a natural turn-on to other girls. I'm too far advanced in the game to get really depressed or emotionally sick anymore from a oneitis, but it's still lurking there. And it literally is a situation where I can never get this girl, unless I completely sacrifice my job/life (which obviously won't happen for a chick).

I just thought it was interesting how a couple years ago, oneitis would turn me into a blubbering, emotional fool. Now it's actually been useful in meeting new girls and getting intimate with a rapidity I haven't experienced in awhile.
