So many things to comment on, besides the fact that this is completely bat shit crazy.

1. I thought that women get their ass kicked or killed for dirtying their honor by cheating? In the strictest sense though, after a divorce, this chick needs to get banged out by another guy before she can remarry. This means that the husband KNOWS she's freshly banged another guy, yet will take her back. What about pregnancy? Are they against contraceptives?

2. I suspect the overwhelming majority of these women are wretchedly ugly, as are most hardcore Muslim women. The kind of women who would do this are likely on the extreme side and don't get to see too much sun, so they have rickets and marshmellow bodies.

3. If any of these women are pretty, they most likely are not getting Beetlejiuce Beetlejiuce Beetlejiu.... divorced by their husband, but maybe 1 in 20, or 1 in 30 are bangable. HERE is where the beetlejiuce divorce arbitrage for the inspired young horny mullah could take place.

4. While this is fun to joke about, this is truly disgusting and vile. All of the practicing Catholics have something extra to pray for today on Palm Sunday, amidst all the other bad news happening recently.

Odd thing I came across today.

My oldest son (early high school) listening to an Idubbbz song remix with the repeated use of our favourite n word in the lyrics. On another screen he has some of pewdiepie's videos buffering.

I asked him some questions about Idubbz and Tana Mong and about pewdiepie and the mainstream media. All his responses were fairly red-pilled, despite these particular contexts being nothing I'd broached with him specifically. Point of fact, he actually asked me to watch an Idubbbz video he thought was funny and started to explain who Idubbbz was. He was also surprised that I'd seen the same videos as him.

Regarding pewdiepie, I asked him about the WSJ. He tells me "they're just bitching because more people listen to a youtuber than them."

I don't know about in the city (I honestly don't recall) but out in the country the language is definitely a bit more colourful.

I pull him up on the stuff that'll land a movie in MA15+ territory, but other than that I don't discourage him from speaking differently from the kids he'll be sharing a retirement home with in 60 years.

Context is obviously important.

"The WSJ is bitching about..." is not an issue.

"Stop bitching about me being up late" is obviously cause for correction.

I look up and to the right with for no reason, and there's an Asian girl having a glance at me. ( I'm average-looking at best, this is not about my appearance ). Over the years I've looked up, and there's someone having a quick glance. After today I know this is not 'coincidence' anymore, I've had this happen over thirty times in the last three years. I decided to call it "getting pinged", i.e. 'she pinged me'. I'll look up from my work for no reason and in a particular direction for no reason, and there's a person looking at me. It's not peripheral vision so how the hell does my brain know someone is having a quick glance?

Because you take note of it when someone is looking and you remember it. When you look up and no one is looking, you simply forget about it.

I have no degree in drama, but I can offer a couple of thoughts:

(1) Because of the laugh track. Try watching Seinfeld without it and it's nowhere near as funny.

(2) Because it appeals to narcissists, which is what its core demo was.

It appealed to a broad audience because you could either watch it and empathise or watch it and laugh at the sad idiots.

At the time it was edgy in certain places, and like all comedy with political undertones it doesn't age exceptionally well. The best stuff that still holds up is the non-political stuff.

I watched an episode the other day and it struck me that all the characters are white and heterosexual. None are drunks. None are whores (in the stronger sense). Elaine, the only female character, is depicted as something of a modern female train wreck. Her only strength is in childish aggression which is laughably only effective because the men around her are such pussies.

The show is actually very red-pilled if you watch it as a guide on the degradation and pussification of America.

In Santiago Chile I've seen more people wearing Iron Maiden, Slayer and Nirvana t-shirts than women wearing high heels. There's this strange rebellious 90's grunge vibe about this city and the way men and women dress. Pinochet's influence clearly didn't last unfortunately.

Compared to what we're used to... absolutely. That really is the first word that comes to mind. Nice. Very approachable, friendly, smiley, and very emotional. They still have romantic notions unlike our women who have had their spirits crushed. Even the sluttiest girls with high notch counts are still good and pleasant company, albeit for not much time obviously. And they're forgiving if you're game gets sloppy. In the states you can't let up for one second on your game always walking on eggshells. I mean here you can still use a smiley face in whatsapp convos and they won't roll their eyes and next you. Or if you like say something stupid it ain't the end of the world. Though here in Chile, the gals don't really do anything for me mostly just because how they dress. Still nice and all, but they just don't have latin spirit and vibe like their neighbors. Hope you're well man.

It has it's genius moments of comedy despite Seinfeld not being the best comedian (not even top 10). It is a combination of right cast at the right time having good ideas and good writing. Would not have worked a couple years before and after.

Yeah, I saw Seinfeld doing standup live around 2010 and this thought kept going through my head:

Michael Richard and Jason Alexander carried that thing, and people were ready for something new, as in a sitcom where it didn't get all wrapped up in a bow at the end with a Hallmark Greeting Card lesson about friendship or something.

Also, it kind of prefigured the "Friends," and later internet culture mentality in its self absorption and the way it was a substitute for having real friends. Watching Seinfeld wasn't like watching a show, it was like hanging out with your friends, only with friends who were cooler and funnier than you.

For Gen Xers there was something comforting about watching a group of people get all obsessed with little personal preferences and thoughts. It catered to the solipsist in us all. What a definition of life. All you have to do is hang out with your friends, fine tune your preferences, and joke around. Perfect escapism.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Of shows in the 1990's, I always thought that NewsRadio was better.

Everyone was funny and there were names you would recognize today, like Phil Hartmann, Patrick Warburton, and even Joe Rogan as a handyman character who, surprise, was into conspiracy theories and weird knowledge.





It was as well written as Seinfeld, but a lot weirder, surreal, and meaner. These people were all freaks.
