RE: Forum "Lounge" - Everything goes!
I got massive results just by cutting sugar out of my coffee.

As a bonus, now when I order it from chick baristas sans sweetener they clearly think I'm totally hard.

If I cut out the milk they'll probably end up fucking me on the spot.

For that I suppose I have to thank the fags getting their with syrup, soy, cinnamon and a double shot of vanilla. Guys like me must be assumed to have a fucking horse tied up out the front of the store.

Hmm,where I am I have the luck to get actual Vanilla sticks at a very low price.
I love cutting it with scissors into my hot drinks (specially Royboosh tea!)

The other day I was talking with a woman who is a local person by many several generations and when she described the people of the region from where my family comes from I was shocked to discover the description applied nearly flawlessly to people of my clan (myself included),even though many of us are already one or two generations removed and have obviously taken the cultural aspects and dialects of where we grew up.

Makes you wonder about how far can the apple really fall from the tree sometimes...

We move between light and shadow, mutually influencing and being influenced through shades of gray...

Those kind of moments are almost a bit spooky eh? I've talked with people that know well the area where some of my ancestors came from, apparently it was an important place during the World Wars. The woman I was speaking with was of a different kind of the same general kind of ethnic make up.

I even talked with a couple people that had the same kind of Russian/Eastern European apple tree in their own garden as mine.

A steak is also acceptable if you're lazy or if you don't have 12 hours to spare. Just make sure to drink lots of water too so you don't die.

Turns out none of that stuff has any carbs so I'm shedding weight like crazy over here. I just hope I don't get scurvy.

That was pretty much my diet when I broke my leg.

Has anyone ever found a great website by accidentally mis-typing another site?

I had a pretty fun time, and they had other activities going on too, dance floor with a live band, some virtual reality shooting thing (I'll try that when I have time).

Do you have to sign up for a rewards card when you went in the casino? Did you sign up on your own?

If so, it was fixed. Take the money and don't go back for at least a year.

No card sign up was required, and I didn't sign up for one either. I did see other people come up and put "tickets" as bets on the table, and I asked a dude and he said it was from reward points.
I would've probably said it was fixed if it was blackjack or something they controlled, but I was the one rolling that made the big bucks, I just had to pick when where and how to bet. The first time playing I and everyone else got very lucky, I can't remember what the bet is called, but you put bets in the middle part, and it ticks off numbers that were played, if all certain low numbers get rolled, 35-1 payoff, then highs 35-1, and if all highs and lows get rolled, 175-1. I rolled all of them, so everyone who did the 3 middle parts (myself included) got $245 from $1 on each part ($3).
On my second play, I got down to 4 bucks, but then I just let some "dumb" bets ride a little longer, got up to $125, then put that on a simple bet that only had a even pay out, then once that won I pulled it and cashed out. It was a good thing I pulled out when I did, because the roll after that was a 7, which cleared out the table, made everyone lose.
It just depended on how I bet.
I probably won't go again for the purpose of gambling anytime soon, I don't really have that kind of time to burn, though I do want to try that VR shooting game, oh and suit up and hit the dance floor. There was a gaggle of fine bitches there, but I didn't feel like dancing in my carharts.

Interesting to watch. Shows the degradation of mainstream music from early 1900's to 2000's. Women show much more midriff, and falsetto becomes much more popular among men. Feminism comes through in a lot of the music videos. Also, men no longer dress in suits, its much more casual. Interesting.

Honestly, if you want a stark comparison; look at Dean Martin, then Adam Levine. That's all you need to know.

Dean; Masculine with proper posture, dressed nicely, and with absolute class.
[Image: u_https_tse2_mm_bing_net_th_id_OIP_9_GCl9du_Qg_C.jpg]

Adam; Feminine pose and posture. Tried to 'man' himself up with two full sleeves, and fails miserably.

RE: Forum "Lounge" - Everything goes!
I don't know if this is the right place for this story, or whether the Player's Lounge is better. Anyway, here goes.

So I've been seeing this girl for about three years now. In the beginning, I was all gung-ho yeah I'm a player so I was seeing multiple women. I even had a thing going for a while with 2 girls, however I decided to break things off, informal as they were, with one of them and start seeing the other one exclusively. As luck would have it, the other girl found out about it, asked me and I told her the truth. I held frame, I told her it wasn't my intention to cheat, I didn't know it was exclusive. I think I even asked for advice here at RVF. However, this was the start of one of many long arguments/fights.

Long story short, we are still together but the relationship (to me) is in tatters. I'm constantly unhappy. In order to assuage my guilt at being a player and to not be that guy who ends up old and forever alone, I even gave her a ring a year ago. It didn't improve things a bit. Arguments are constant and I hate having to cook for her or do other stuff I would happily do for a girl who acted better to me.

On the other side (since it's not all doom and gloom), I do think she genuinely loves me and is afraid that I'll cheat on her. However, this constant harassment is making me look at other girls, not as a hot piece of ass I'd like to fuck and go home to my sweet cutie-pie, but rather as the cutie-pie compared to the monster that's waiting to start an argument with me at home.

Talk to her? It's impossible, the accusations are first out of the gate, with tears a close second. I'm a monster, I have no feelings, et cetera ad nauseum.

On the list of things I like about her: her parents are still together, she's from a good family and richer than my family (hard not to be, considering my family background although I do OK for myself), and she's of course good looking. She's also tenacious, since we've had multiple big fights and I thought she would've broken up with me by now but somehow we're still together.

Worth noting: she was actually talking to her ex behind my back for a longer period of time than I was seeing other girl(s), but maintains that she never had sex and was only friends with him because he needed moral support. He doesn't look like a leather-wearing jock so I'd believe her but still the deception leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

What do guys? Can this be salvaged? We've been apart for a couple of months since she's doing a temporary job but I'm dreading having her back. I want kids and I want to marry a good girl, but am I secretly a player who just wants to flirt with other girls and am I doomed to doing that forever? The worst part is that my fam is clueless and they think they're gonna get little mini-me's running around in a year or so. Meanwhile I'm even dreading going on vacation with her because the fights don't even stop when we are on holiday.

I don't know if I agree with the gold version, but carolina mustard/vinegar sauce or even just the peppered vinegar sauce, fuck yeah. Again, another reason to love TN, Memphis bbq in the west (skip hipster nashville in the middle) and carolina style bbq in the east.

RE: Forum "Lounge" - Everything goes!
I was reading my old school's magazine this morning, and came across the obituaries. I was struck by a couple of things:

1. How lucky I was to go to a place where so many of the men who attend go on to make significant contributions to the sum of human knowledge, be it in science, technology, archeology, business, military, or the arts. Twenty or so men from the school died in the last quarter. What was remarkable, and gratifying, was that all of them had led varied and interesting lives doing things they were very good at.

2. How much pleasure I get in reading a really good obituary. I find it a profoundly uplifting thing to read over my breakfast about a life that was full, varied, and thoroughly lived. Obituaries serve as a very good reminder that almost everyone has something interesting about them if you can get to it. If I get a twinge of sadness when reading an obituary, as I very occasionally do, it is always at the thought that here was someone I'd have loved to have met, had supper with, and had a chance to talk to about the things they loved. Reading a good obituary can be a real thrill.

It's over. You're torturing yourself out of some misguided belief that it's in your best interest, or hers, or both of yours.

It's not.

Tell her you took a shot at putting the past down but it's clear she'll never be happy with you. Auf Wiedersehen, fräulein.

You're lucky that this circumstance arose. Every member of a relationship, both male and female, fuck up eventually in some form or another. She's shown you that she is not the type to ever forgive or forget as long as she lives.

God forbid you found this out the hard way after you had kids or some shit like that.

Yeah probably, I don't know, I only saw that when I lost or won, it was due to my own choices in betting as to what would be rolled. Nothing shined as an apparent advantage, I put my money down on the future, and I just happened to win or lose. I lost a whole bunch overall on placing bets, but in the end I came out on top ($800+ return on a $60 "investment"), but isn't that life? You put your acquired resources towards something or another, it just depends whether you reward was worth the risk. I tossed up sixty bucks, came out with 1,300% increase, heck, would be nice if I got that kind of return on my dating life. Makes marriage look like the state lotto in comparison, 1 in 27million chance of hitting it big.

RE: Forum "Lounge" - Everything goes!
So I had some CPR training among a few other courses at one of my jobs today.

One of the other participants was a fucking morbidly obese woman who wasn't even 30 years old. We endured the ridiculous and laughable situation of watching her do chest compressions on a training dummy until a few seconds later when it became apparent that if the instructor allowed her to continue then the rest of us would be doing chest compressions on her.

This tubby monster fanned her sweaty face with a piece of paper all day long. Keep in mind we were in a climate controlled building kept at an optimal temperature. We also had to wait two minutes for her to traverse a single flight of stairs during one of the other courses, after which we had to wait an additional minute for her to catch her breath.

Do we have a "laugh at fatty" lounge? It seems like a worthwhile standalone thread for this kind of thing.

We do have the fat people thread, but what you're describing isn't funny, it's just fucking disgusting.

I still remember going to dance classes and events, full of fat blimps sweating profusely and desperately panting for breath after a mere minute or two of activity. And you have to put your hands on that foul quibbling sweat-jelly mess and look at its face.

I washed that shit away with a shower known as an "airplane".

Adam; Feminine pose and posture. Tried to 'man' himself up with two full sleeves, and fails miserably.

Dean Martin looks like he was crafted in a smoke and Whlskey filled jazz ballroom;

Adam Leviene looks like he was crafted by a bunch of fags in a corporate boardroom.
