What does Transport do? Sounds like it would be related public transportation, roads, bridges and managing London traffic which can be bad (or was years ago). Maybe also the airports. Just guessing here.

Great idea to have more Muslims with access to detailed information about public transportation, including security measures and response procedures.

It was a PC. It was always unusable. Should've gotten a mac, ha.

Friend of mine told me he downgraded by restoring a disk image of his computer before the upgrade.

Somewhat related, the new Windows 10 commercial played about 100 times during the Stars playoff hockey game. Stay at home dad using Windows 10 to schedule play dates, grocery shopping, and other bullshit. I looked for the video but I don't think it's up yet. Zero Alpha.

There was a windows update, I can't remember which one, but it basically installs nagware to get you to upgrade to 10. You can uninstall it from the windows update archive, I'll try to find which update it is and edit this post.

I couldn't decide on a maybe more appropriate thread for my little story, so I'll just put it here.

The other night I was at a local bar, talking to my brother back in the states on what'sapp. There was an annoying as fuck american broad with her douchy hipster boyfriend and another couple at the table next to me. The chick was so god damn loud, cursing with every other sentence, and particularly bitching about this "fucking british guy that was trying to fucking hit on me" as she came back from the bathroom. I'd put the chick as a 4 or 4.5 at best. Her group was eating her shtick up and laughing with her. Feeling like she was on a roll, the chick then turns her attention to me. She's asking what's my story and in my opinion looking for some more fodder to bring to her little douche crew at my expense. Without ever taking my eyes off my phone and my conversation with my brother, I cut her off mid sentence and tell her, "Look, I have no interest whatsoever in talking to you and frankly your voice and behavior is annoying the shit out of me, so how about you just go back to your table and leave me alone." She just stood there dumbfounded, her cackling crew immediately shut the fuck up. For the only time, I look up at her from my phone and tell her "ok, now go away." and make the shoo motion with my hand. Quietly she sat back down at her table and her and her now subdued group never so much as looked at me again.

What's the point of this story? I am coming up on the two year anniversary of making the biggest change of my life and moving from an american suburb to china. Two years ago, I never would have took charge of this exchange with this vile creature. I would have tolerated her and used it to further beat myself up inside. I hated my life, was on enough medications to tranquilize a horse, and would daily think of reasons not to off myself. For too many years, I let my life get stagnant. Days just blended together and I had nothing to look forward to.

What changed? I knew I had to make adjustments or die. I lurked here for many years and finally started to read the wisdom shared and thought for the first time "why not me?" My friend Dantes was also an incredible source of support and encouragement. So here we are, two years later. I'm 40 years old, have a 24 year old chinese girlfriend that I now live with and care about greatly. The night I went to the bar? I told the girlfriend I was going out for a couple of drinks. Her response "ok have fun." Guess how many wechat messages she sent asking where I was, telling me not to drink too much, or asking when I would be coming home?.........0 She trusts me to do my own thing and is confident that I will come home to her. I ended up hanging out with a fellow american and a british guy just shooting the shit until like 4am. Still conditioned to american woman attitude, I was half expecting a complaining message from the girlfriend when I finally woke up. But nope. "Did you have fun last night? I hope I was not loud and wake you up this morning when I go to work. Should I cook dinner tonight or we go out to eat?"

I'm a pretty low key guy and although I have done a fair amount of traveling, my trips I never felt were datasheet worthy. So in trying to figure out a way to contribute, I decided to share a little of my life and hopefully impart the lesson to never let your life get stagnant. It is a slow descent and it can be so gradual that you might not even notice it. Don't accept things for what they are. Be proactive and take control and dictate what path you take. Do not let someone else or circumstances dictate it for you.

I would pay money for translations of books I like into normal goddamn pronoun usage instead of using "she" for the CEO/founder in the abstract sense (but of course never for an assistant, that's sexist).

Example:
"If the CEO agrees to the sprint but can't spare a full week, invite her to join you at a few key points"

The correct grammar here is he, so putting she breaks the flow in the same way an improper usage of their/there/they're would. For what? It is basically saying "like omg women can be CEOs too!".

I don't fucking care. I just want to learn. The CEO can be a gender-fluid platypus-kin for all I care. Guys who inject politics into unrelated things are socially inept. Tim over there never talks about politics. He is very smart. Be more like him and less like you.

As an aside, I bet tumblrkins would pay money to have books they read translated into gender neutral pronouns. I bet there already is a browser plugin that does that. The only concern is that they probably do not read books.

Just came back from this trip.

Round 2 was certainly better than round 1. I just may have fucked a woman full retard for the first time. I have never witnessed a woman visibly lose her brain functions from being banged out.

Seattle wasn't ready for the two of us. Guys I'm in a rut and my life is becoming a bit of a mess. It's almost like that first crack in the window underwater in every movie with an underwater theme having that cliche.

I see a small crack then those cracks start to spread rather quickly until reality starts flooding in. It's finally flooded in for me. I'm free from all responsibilities come Friday then the plan being:

-Gym every day no exceptions no excuses.
-If I'm not at the gym I'm making money working.
-If I'm not making money I'll be studying up on starting to learn a foreign language that I've been putting off for 2 years.
-I'll be giving myself 2 hours max of "free" time per day to lounge around and read.
-Keeping myself busy so I don't droop back into the fatalism I've been feeling as of late and general melancholy when I'm alone.
-I'll look back at finding a way to actively game after three months of this routine.

What are some other things I can add in to get back to having a sense of focus and actively working that I lost with the first hit to my stability last year?

May I ask if this is a job loss?

Depending on if this was a mass layoff type thing or an individual performance matter, you may want to give yourself a week or two before forcing a new plan on yourself. Being serious, and it is ok to do so. We have all been through shit, where we just needed a little time to be away from responsibility.

Once you have given yourself some time and have a little clarity, I would then draft a list of things you want to, which may be the exact same list you have posted.

While you seek, it seems, some stability, I would focus on what you want out of your life. And what you want for your life may not be stable. Unless your primary goal is stability.

If you can share more, maybe a better answer can be provided. But at the end of the day, we are just anonymous dudes on the internet and whatever advice you choose to take, please make sure you are aligned with it. While I respect many on this forum, I still know that I have to own the advice I take.
