I had a thread locked, but I won't be reposting it in here, I didn't like how I wrote it or at least how it was received. I won't force the issue, as it may come off as me trying to hijack the forum. I just felt that the media today, mainstream mainly, is going to kill hope for those potential young SIMPS from coming to find forums like this. This is a back burner issue though, because I'm more concerned with becoming the Ultimate Wingman for my friends and family. This brings me to what is my most major issue I'm really facing, communication.

Without getting to personal, a little about myself here to give explanation into my background is I had been caught up in the 'system' due to health concerns related to my neurology . I'm on very low dose medication, but understand with me writing this out for you guys it is not meant to alarm you. I would like to make it aware to you all, in order to explain a little of my alleged "weirdness" at the moment.

I've seen shit at different parts of the Red-pill with younger men that have mental disturbances, caused by women. These young men are not getting received well from what it would appear.

It's not to say you have to absolutely put up with these guy's shit, for all I know they could be trolls. Never act like you can tell though, we do not need to create 'sickos' from being Ass-holes to them. There is a clear danger from what you might say to a mental disturbed person.

I understand though we cannot help them all.

Since you seem like you're making a solid effort to fit in, here's a brief bit of advice. This forum is a brutal place for the non-Neurotypical (for lack of a better word). It has a very strong, unique culture, and it's one that we work hard to preserve. Warnings and bans are handed out very frequently, and though we're trying to cut back on it, new members are often mercilessly mocked. If you want to post here, I would advise focusing a lot on clarity in your writing. I didn't understand your post about "a vape game" in the vaping lounge, for instance. I thought you were referring to an actual game of some sort. For your post above, I simply have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know what "the Ultimate Wingman" is. He sounds like a wrestler. I can guess from context that you mean "somehow who does everything he can to help his friends and family achieve their goals", but that's just a guess. I don't know what it means to be 'caught up in the system due to health concerts related to my neurology'. (Please don't interpret this as a request for more information about your health, it's best not to talk about that stuff on the internet. I simply mean that what you wrote was unclear.)

For writing communication, here's two tips I always give new writers that seem to be particularly helpful:
1.) Assume the reader has no idea what you're talking about. Don't assume they have any outside context. Assume, in addition, that the reader doesn't care about you. On an internet forum, in particular, assume the reader doesn't know you, they don't know what else you've written, and they don't really care. They're skimming your post while sitting on the toilet, waiting for their food to come at a restaurant, or something similar.

2.) Before you post something, read the post back to yourself aloud. When you do, you'll be surprised how many grammatical errors and poorly written sentences you catch. For instance, if you read this post you just wrote you would've caught things like the incorrect capitalization of "Ultimate Wingman", or using "to" instead of "too" in "without getting to personal". But not only would you have caught the grammar errors, you'd have realized the places where your writing was unclear, and been able to correct them. Roosh himself actually gave me this tip a few years ago, when I worked for him on a site, and it was by far the single most valuable thing I got out of the experience. It boosted my writing a hundred times, and it's saved me in my real job more times than I can count.

Try to follow these two tips and I think you'll fit in a lot better. Beyond that, absolutely memorize the forum rules, and if you think in the slightest that something you're about to say might be a violation of one of them, don't do it.

I relatively new here and at game but considering what the chick said maybe the best route to take was what you actually did.

But it's usually more difficult to think of it in the moment.
