Has anyone noticed that their personal messages have disappeared?

Maybe I am the only one on RVF?

I have only PMs in my RVF box from the last couple of days.

I did a search on the forum, and I could not find a thread on the topic of issues with personal messages.

One of the reasons that I purchased a lifetime gold membership was to be able to increase my mailbox size, so if there is any thread on the topic of personal messages I would be interested in finding out, and if there is a way to recover the personal messages, I would be interested in that, too.

I knew that some other changes were being made, and that we had an opportunity to edit our earlier posts (and I chose not to).

I wished that I would have seen that particular message regarding the cleaning of the slate before the deadline, and I could have at least kept a few of the contents therein....

I suppose a clean slate is a clean slate, and there's no choice at this point but to go on from here.

"Congratulations to the winner - but I'd love to hear from EDF how the winning solution meets their stated aim for the competition," said computer scientist Dr Sue Black OBE.

In a tweet, EDF said that while "the aim of #PrettyCurious was to encourage girls into #STEM, the #PrettyCuriousChallenge was a gender-neutral competition".

It added: "The winner was shortlisted by a panel of judges including the all-female winning team from our #PrettyCurious Glasgow workshop."

Suw Charman-Anderson, who founded the annual celebration of women in Stem, Ada Lovelace Day, told the BBC she had had reservations about the Pretty Curious campaign from the beginning.

"EDF Energy chose to link appearance and interest in Stem through the title of their campaign, despite many people pointing out that it was demeaning to girls," she said.

"Rather than challenging stereotypes, the focus on girls' looks rather than their intelligence reinforces them.

"EDF Energy have failed to understand both the nature of the problem [of women in Stem] and the negative impacts that their publicity stunt may well have on girls who took part with genuine enthusiasm and excitement."

If you have not changed your username before, you can ask Roosh to change it for you. As a gold member you can change your username once.

I'm wondering why Krieg was banned. I checked his last posts and couldn't spot a violation of the forum rules.

It wasn't a secret that he was a Ukranian Nationalist and one could often times spot the bias, but I still enjoyed hearing the anti-Putin info. The anti-Putin info from MSM is always obvious BS but the alternative info I find is usually very pro-Putin, so I read what Krieg had to say with interest. It wasn't always that obviously false and it gave me keywords to search for to confirm or refute what he said.

Good for him, a lot of us got into this whole thing from "The Game," he definitely deserves to have his head carved in the mt rushmoore of manly brilliance (along with Roosh Milo and Jack Donovan of course). I haven't read any of his other stuff.

I'm rereading Models with a group of guys on the redpill reddits at the moment. I try to alternate my manly interest books with titles that have a broader appeal.

In other news I might be moving to Sacramento CA, I've been crushing some job interviews out in that area. I got past qualifications and now it is time to arrive at a deal. I have nepotism to thank for it, my cousin's wife is in HR over there. If I get the offer in writing I'll start planning the move. I will be in a new city on the opposite coast, the perfect opportunity to reinvent oneself and create a fresh circle. This time it wont be a bunch of schmucks.

I liked his interview on Maron. Good banther and teasing between them. Maron's game denialism annoyed me at points, but would read the book.

I found the dynamic of the interview interesting. Maron goes hot and cold, from genuinely interested to bitter, even agressive at times, in a blink. I'd never heard Strauss talk before but I thought he was very eloquent. It's not easy to sway the conversation and smoothen it out when the interviewer's goal is to poke your ego.

Good mouthpiece on him - maneuvering, softly agreeing but making his point, etc.

I don't disagree on the brilliance part, "The Way of Men" is one of my favorite books. But as a sidenote, it's curious that two of those (Milo and Donovan) are gay men and the other two (Roosh and Strauss) are/were self-admitted nerds - Roosh a former microbiologist and Strauss who started his carreer as an insecure, shy, meek writer. Listen to his interview above, he goes into the subject in detail.

I agree. This used to be my favorite thread.

On Monday I finally got a mole removed from the front-left part of my scalp. I'm getting the stitches removed in a week. I was afraid it was going to create a bald spot, but instead I have a scar that will probably get less dark-red in the next few weeks but that I will still, probably, always have. I'm also going to bring my 2-guard buzz cut down to a 1-guard after the stitches get removed. I think the short hair that I've always wanted (which was never possible because of my big mole) plus the small scar will actually look kind of cool.

Anyone else ever had a mole removed, and what did the scar look like?

Ah, those were the days when his book "The Game" opened my eyes 11 years ago. Having read that book led me to read "The Mystery Method" and then Roosh (when he was writing his first blog named DCBachelor, the predecessor to his namesake Blog, forum, and ROK).

Nowadays I don't read any of the latest Strauss books, but I second your comment about his wife.

Planning on getting to that level.

I smoke about 2 packs a week. One for the week and then a full pack within 4 or 5 hours when I'm out drinking or clubbing on Saturday. The mere smell of alcohol makes me want to light up.
